본 연구는 시민에 대한 경찰공무원의 행정대응을 알아보기 위하여 경상북도내 시․군의 경찰공무원 17명을 대상으로 면접조사를 실시한 것을 토대로 하였다.1) 분석의 틀은 신공공관리와 거버넌스 관점에서 협력적 대응을 위한 심리적․태도적 요인이 되는 책임성을 중심으로 책무성, 합리적 판단, 책임성으로 구분하여 구성하고, 이 외에 경찰공무원의 행정 대응 요인이 되는 것은 어떤 것이 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 개방질문을 통한 자유로운 진술에 의하여 얻어진 결과물(요인)을 추가하였다. 자유로운 진술을 통하여 밝혀진 두 가지의 요인은 기준 및 제도와 대시민의식이며 이를 추가하여 책무성, 합리적 판단, 책임성, 기준 및 제도, 대시민의식이라는 5가지 요인으로 분석의 틀을 구성하고, 질적 분석을 위한 소프트웨어 NVivo2 프로그램을 통하여 경찰공무원의 책임성에 대한 의식 및 태도와 시민과의 협력적 대응에 대하여 알아보았다. 협력적 대응을 위하여 경찰의 내면적 윤리의식의 강화와 함께 시민의 준법정신 및 대 경찰의식에 대한 변화가 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

C2C 중고거래 플랫폼에서의 중고의류제품 판매 정보 분석- NVivo를 활용한 내용 분석을 중심으로 -

This study aims to classify the dimensions of the sales information of secondhand clothing goods on the C2C secondhand trading platform and to systematically analyze the components of each dimension. To this end, the NVivo 12.0 qualitative data analysis software was used. The content analysis showed that the sales information of secondhand clothing goods was classified into four dimensions: detailed information of the sale goods, information specific to sec ondhand clothing goods, seller opinion information, and service information. The components of each dimension were as follows. The detailed information of the sale goods included size, sale price, item, design, brand name, material, color, wearing season, fit, gender, etc. The information specific to secondhand clothing goods included the number of times the item was worn, its purchase history, and product condition. Seller opinion information included product review, sales motivation, notes for the transaction, coordination proposal, and usage proposal. The service information included the transaction mode, exchange·return·refund, and promotion. The frequency analysis showed that the highest frequencies were sale goods(37.47%), information specific to secondhand clothing goods(24.63%), seller opinion informa tion(20.54%), and service information(17.37%). This study will help C2C secondhand trading platform managers or sell ers establish clear standards for presenting sales information and developing ideas toward constructing differentiated platform contents.

본 연구는 대학에서 레포츠과학부를 전공하는 학생들을 대상으로 영어회화를 지도하는데 있어 한국계 미국인 교수가 직면하는 어려운 점들을 탐구하였다. 주된 연구방법으로 질적 사례연구를 적용하였다. 연구 참여자는 한국계 미국인 교수 1명과 영어회화를 수강하는 레포츠과학부 전공 신입생 2명이다. 레포츠과학부를 전공하는 학생들에게 영어회화를 지도할 때 직면하는 어려움에 대하여 원어민 교사의 인식이나 생각을 영어회화를 담당하고 있는 교사와의 심층 면담을 통해 주로 도출하였다. 지지하는 증거 자료를 확보하기 위하여 해당 과목을 수강하고 있는 두 명의 학생에 대한 추가 면담을 실시하였다. 주 자료는 면담을 통해 확보하였고 Nvivo 2를 사용하여 코딩을 하고 분석을 하였다. 영어회화 학생 지도의 어려움에 관하여 사회문화적 (10.5%), 심리적(16.4%), 제도적(35.2.4%), 언어적 요인(37.6%)의 네 가지 상위 범주가 도출되었으며, 연구 참여자들은 이러한 요인들을 영어회화의 주요 장애요인으로 지목하였다. 이러한 요인들 중에서 특히 영어회화를 담당하고 있는 원어민 교수는 언어적 요인의 하부 노드인 단어지식의 부재를 결정적인 요인으로 지목하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 대학에서 레포츠과학부 전공 학생들을 지도하는 원어민 교사나 교재개발자를 위한 제언을 제시하였다. This study explores difficulties of a Korean-American Teacher in language learning and teaching to the university students majoring in physical education taking an English Conversation class. The study followed a qualitative case study approach. Participants were one Korean-American teacher and her two physical education students in a freshman English Conversation class. The primary sources of data were collected from a series of in-depth interviews of the teacher in order to better understand about her perceptions and ideas concerning difficulties when she teaches the English Conversation to the physical education majoring students. After the teacher's interviews, interviews with two students were also conducted to validate the findings from the teacher interviews. These data were coded and analyzed via Nvivo 2. Emerged patterns, which later were developed into themes, are sociocultural, institutional, psychological, and linguistic factors. The participants of this study nominated these factors as obstacles in teaching and learning to speak English. Among these factors, the teacher voices the lack of the ability of word knowledge as one of the most dominating factors. The implications of the findings are provided for the native-speaker teachers teaching physical education students and the textbook developers in a Korean university setting.

Revisiting Error Analysis in English Composition

Recently, productive aspects of English, especially writing, have received a lot of attention in that the communicative needs of English as an international language are more than emphasized. To meet these needs and offer some insights into a university level writing class, this study was conducted to investigate contributing variables to the writing performance and to integrate learning processes as well as outcome. The analysis of the multiple regression indicates that pretest (the ability of English composition in general), reading ability, sentence types, meaning, word choice, parallelism, and connectives account for 80 percent of participants’ writing abilities. Therefore, it can be concluded that these identified factors should be vital indications of what should be taught in an EFL writing class. However, the researcher postulates that the interpretation of this study needs to be considered not merely in the light of the vague notion of statistical generalization. Rather, one should take into account the contexts that the participants of the study were involved in. In addition, the possibility of using Nvivo 2 as a main tool of error analysis (EA) research is exploited and some promises in overcoming the limitations of previous EA studies are offered.
