        소비역량과 식품안전 인식이 원산지 관심도에 미치는 영향

        This study aims to estimate the effects of consumption competency (agrifood purchase competency & eating habit competency) and agrifood safety perception on the concern about the origin of agrifood. A structural equation model (SEM) is applied to the 2020 Consumer Behavior Survey for Food data by the Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI). The results are: Consumption competency affects not only the perception of agrifood safety but also the concern about the origin of agrifood. The perception of safety on domestic agrifood shows a statistically positive relationship with the information utilization ability and the priority on agrifood safety. Unlike earlier studies, there exists a negative relationship between the ability to use agrifood labeling and the perception of agrifood safety, and a positive relationship between the ability to use agrifood information and the safety perception of imported agrifood. 본 연구는 소비자들의 농식품 소비역량(농식품 구매역량 및 식생활역량) 및 원산지별 식품안전에 대한 인식과 원산지 관심 정도 간의 관계를 정량적으로 파악하고자 수행되었다. 분석 자료로 한국농촌경제연구원(KREI)의 2020년 식품소비행태조사 원시자료를 이용하였으며, 변수들 간의 상호종속적 인과관계를 고려하기 위해 구조방정식모델(SEM)을 분석 과정에 적용하였다. 분석 결과, 농식품 구매역량과 식생활역량은 식품안전에 대한 인식뿐만 아니라 원산지에 대한 관심 정도에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 더하여 단계별 역량의 하위요인별로 관련 변수와의 관계를 각각 분석한 결과, 농식품 표시이용 역량 수준과 식품 안전성 인식 정도 간에는 음(-)의 관계가, 농식품 정보활용 역량 수준과 수입산 식품의 안정성 인식 정도 간에는 양(+)의 관계가 존재하는 것으로 분석되어, 세부 소비역량을 종합하여 연구 자료로 사용한 기존 연구들과 상이한 연구 결과를 나타내었다.

        Market breadth of global agrifood by the year 2030: 10,000 trillion KRW (10,000,000,000,000,000). US, EU, and China: world's three trade zones and FTA trade system(account for GDP 73% of world economy, the third country of FTA trade in the world). The imbalance of import and export has become serious in Korea and Chinaagrifood trade.(export: 1.3 billion USD, import: 5.7 billion USD / an adverse trade balance: four times or more). The Korean wave and improvement of the nation’s position could generate the export of agrifood. Developed countries which have exported agrifood overseas: the sector of agrifood accounts for 10% in total exports(but Korea: only 1% of its exports).

In case of developed countries, they have exported agrifood overseas, and the sector of agrifood accounts for 10% in total exports. But Korea shows only 1% of its exports.

        농식품 수출조직 운영성과 영향요인 분석

        Purpose - This study aims to derive directions and implications for improving performance in operating agrifood export organizations by identifying significant performance impact factors. Research design, data, and methodology - A seemingly unrelated regression (SUR) model was estimated using data from a survey conducted among 120 exporters including 16 leading export organizations. In the SUR estimation, the export volume and price are used as dependent variables and securing the quantity of products ordered and exported, quality management, and marketing activities are considered as explanatory variables for the operation performance. Results - The amount of farmer education, the manpower in charge of marketing, and the interaction terms between whether or not they belong to a leading export organization and the item dummy for mushrooms have a significant impact on the export volume where the export volume is specified as a dependent variable. The export volume is greater with a greater amount of farmer education and greater manpower in charge of marketing from the perspective of quality management. When the export price is estimated as a dependent variable, the manpower in charge of marketing is shown to have a significant impact on the export price. Conclusions - The government needs to strengthen its support of the performance of agrifood export organizations. The analysis indicates that the education of and consulting with farmers, and the manpower number in charge of marketing are key factors in the operation performance of export organizations. Therefore, supporting the export organizations in expanding their human resources in charge of marketing can increase the export volumes for agrifoods. Given, however, that the export volume associated with joint payments, human resources specialized in quality management, and the amount of participation in export exhibitions are not significant factors, it is essential to improve the supporting policies for those areas. The manpower in charge of marketing from the perspective of marketing has a significant impact on both the export volume and export price. Thus, we identify this as the most important category that should be supported to enhance performance in export organizations.

        부산 신항 배후물류단지의 물류 비즈니스 구축 방안에 대한 고찰 - 농산물 및 농식품 취급품목을 중심으로 -

        To develop Busan New Port as a dominant global logistics center, various new logistics business model should be created and settled down in hinterland area of the port. As most of the existing port logistics businesses are focused on simple transshipment between regional ports and ocean routes, low value-added logistics activities used to be pointed out as a big weakness of Busan port’s low competitiveness. With this awareness, we tried to develop new logistics business model for Busan New Port and found some opportunities in agricultural products and agrifood supply chain among northeast asia. Through the analysis of trade statistics and in-depth interview with on-site managements, we suggested two kinds of logistics business model for Busan new-port hinterland to invigorate the trade of agricultural products and agrifood. The first model, named to “Innovative Consolidation Logistics Biz model”, is focused on Japanese general trading companies’ SCM needs. The second model, named to “Wholesale Logistics Biz model focused on Chinese market”, is dealing with processed food and highly quality controlled fruits that could attract multiple wholesale companies in China-Korea-Japan intra-trade zone.

        농식품 소비역량지수 개발과 계측

        이 연구에서는 소비자역량지수와 소비자시장성과지수의 산출방식을 종합하여 ‘농식품 소비역량지수’를 개발하고, 소비자설문조사를 통해 농식품 전체와 분야별 소비역량지수를 계측하고자 하였다. 농식품 소비는 농식품에 대한 선택, 소비, 섭취, 영양 및 건강까지 일련의 단계를 거치기 때문에 농식품 소비역량지수의 내용요소를 일차적으로 농식품 소비단계에 따라 소비자의 농식품 구매역량, 식생활역량, 피해구제역량으로 구분하였다. 이상적인 농식품 소비역량수준 10점으로 할 경우 부문별로 농식품 구매역량지수는 6.4∼6.6점, 식생활역량지수는 7.3점, 피해구제역량지수는 5.0점 수준으로 계측되었다. 대안별 농식품 소비단계별 가중치를 적용하여 농식품 소비자역량지수를 산출한 결과 6.2∼6.5점 수준으로 추정되었다. The purpose of this study is to develop an ‘Agrifood Consumption Competency Index’ with the reference of the ‘Consumer Competency Index’ & ‘Consumer Market Performance Indicator’ calculation methodology then measure the ‘Agrifood Consumption Competency Index’ by a consumer survey. Agrifood consumption goes through a series of steps starting from the selection of the product, purchase, eating and leading to nutrition ingestion. Accordingly, the ‘Agrifood Consumption Competency Index’ is classified into the ‘Agrifood Purchase Competency Index’, ‘Eating Habit Competency Index’ and ‘Agrifood Damage Relief Competency Index’. The result came out each for the ‘Agrifood Purchase Competency Index’ from 6.4 points to 6.6 points, the ‘Eating Habit Competency Index’ 7.3 points and the ‘Agrifood Damage Relief Competency Index’ 5.0 points of ideal condition total 10 points. By combining the weight of each classification, the total result ranged from 6.2 points to 6.5 points.

        농식품바우처 기반 식생활 관리의 의미와 가치

        The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs introduced the Agrifood Voucher in 2020. The Agrifood Voucher is the program that provides vouchers to purchase selected food items with dietary management education. This study aimed to explore value and meaning of dietary management based on the Agrifood Voucher. First, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program of the United States and the Agrifood Voucher of Korea were reviewed. Second, various terms used for describing the purpose of food assistance programs were comparatively reviewed and 'food and nutrition security', together with the corresponding Korean term, was proposed to be the most appropriate term for the purpose. Subsequently, the value and meaning of dietary management based on the Agrifood Voucher were presented as enhancing food and nutrition security of the vulnerable. Diverse education programs should be developed and implemented to improve the dietary management capacity of the Agrifood Voucher recipients in order to properly realize the meaning and value of dietary management based on the Agrifood Voucher in the future.

        친환경농식품 가공업체의 경영계획 수립을 위한 다목표 수리계획모형의 적용 방안

        Most of eco-friendly agrifood processing enterprises in Korean rural area are small and medium-sized business. For this reason, it's hard for eco-friendly agrifood processing enterprises to neither analyze business performance for efficient business management nor establish their own business plan for rational decision-making. Therefore it's necessary to design effective mathematical programming model and to make practical application which can support rational management decision-making ensuring the stable business activity of eco-friendly agrifood processing enterprises. Accordingly this paper focuses on the designing and its application of multi-objective mathematical programming model using goal programming to support rational decision-making of eco-friendly agrifood processing enterprise. Hansalimanseongmachum Food Inc. which runs soy bean processing business making tofu based on regional-based soybean farms around Anseong City will be the specific case to apply multi-objective mathematical programming model in practice. And it will suggest measures to support rational management decision-making of other eco-friendly agrifood processing enterprises.

        미세먼지 농도에 따른 신선농산물 소비 변화 분석

        본 연구는 미세먼지 농도(예보 등급)가 소비자의 신선농산물(과일 및 채소류, 쌀, 육류) 소비 행태에 미치는 영향을 가구의 구매 품목과 구매 장소 선택, 구매 시간을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 미세먼지 발생의 일별 외생적 변화를 이용한 고정효과 모형 분석 결과, 미세먼지 농도 증가는 신선농산물 전반에 대해 소비를 감소시켰으며, 지출액은 일평균 약 474원 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 구매 품목의 경우, 모든 품목 소비가 미세먼지 농도에 따라 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 구매 장소의 경우, 미세먼지 농도 증가에 따라 모든 장소에서의 소비가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 구매 시간의 경우, 중소형소매점과 온라인에서 미세먼지 농도에 대해 구매 시간 차이의 영향을 받았으나, 그 영향은 크지 않은 것으로 나타나 구매 시간을 변경하기보다는 구매 여부 위주로 신선농산물 지출 행동을 변경하는 것으로 판단된다. 미세먼지 발생 시 소비자의 신선농산물 소비를 안정화할 수 있는 정책적 노력이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 미세먼지 발생에 따라 저장성에 다소 제약이 있는 과일 및 채소류와 육류 소비는 감소함에 따라 해당 품목의 농산물 공급 조절이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 신선농산물 공급업자는 겨울 및 봄철과 같이 미세먼지 발생이 빈번한 시기에 소비를 안정시킬 수 있는 다양한 노력이 필요해 보인다. This study investigates the influence of fine dust concentrations on the consumption of fresh agrifood(fruits, vegetables, rice, meat). We particularly focus on choices of purchased items, purchasing places, and purchasing time to understand consumer purchasing behavior. Using a fixed-effects model based on daily exogenous variations in fine dust occurrence, the results indicate that an increase in fine dust concentrations led to a decrease in overall consumption of fresh agrifood and a reduction in daily expenditures by KRW 474 on average. As for purchased items, consumption of all fresh items was negatively influenced by fine dust concentration. As for purchasing places, consumption at all places was negatively influenced by fine dust concentration. As for purchasing times, minor effects of fine dust concentration on purchasing time were observed in small and medium-sized retail stores and online shopping, suggesting that consumers are more likely to change their purchasing behavior based on the decision to make a purchase, rather than altering the time of purchase. Given our results, policy efforts to stabilize consumer consumption of fresh agrifoods during fine dust occurrences are necessary. It appears that during periods of fine dust occurrence, adjustments in the supply of agrifoods with limited shelf life, such as fruits, vegetables, and meat, are needed. Fresh agrifood suppliers should engage in active promotional activities targeted at retail stores to stabilize consumption during times of fine dust occurrence, such as the winter and spring seasons.

        고추의 유통가공기술

        There is no processing function at agrifood marketing in Korea. Because of long term separation between food processing and domestic agricultural products, processing have not concerns in agricultural economists. Nowadays, many kinds of processed foods, that is, kimchi, beverage, red pepper powder, et al, are produced from domestic raw materials, but, processing function are still excluded from agrifood marketing. Exclusion of processing gave rise to economic loss in total agricultural marketing cost. For example, red peppers are dried at individual farm houses before processing, and they are redried at factory during the red pepper powder processing. If processing function were included in agrifood marketing area, one time drying at factory is enough for the red pepper powder production, and drying cost could be saved. It is necessary to include processing function in agrifood marketing for the efficient and effective agrifood distribution in Korea.
