불량주거지 재생을 위한 참여형 디자인 전략에 관한 연구 - 영국 키드브룩 지역 도시재생 프로젝트를 중심으로 -

본 연구의 목적은 영국 Kidbrooke지역의 주거지 재생프로젝트 분석을 중심으로 낙후 주거지역의 물리적 사회적 재생을 위한 참여형 디자인 전략을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 현대 도시환경 내에서 필요한 사회적 지속가능성을 구성하는 요소들을 규정하기 위하여 키드브룩 재생사업의 흐름과 개념을 분석하였다. 지역의 경제적 후퇴와 공동체간 첨예한 사회적 갈등에 의해 발생한 사회적 퇴화 현상이 키드브룩 지역을 물리적 사회적으로 황폐화 시키고 영국의 최악의 슬럼지역으로 만들었으므로 재생사업이 시작하기 전에 사회적 지속가능성, 새것과 과거유산들이 어우러진 장소성, 새로운 저렴주택 형태들, 사회적 도시기반시설 종류들, 안정된 직업육성, 고등교육의 기회제공, 그리고 보편적인 교통수단 창출등을 창출하기 위해 주민들과 민관의 이익단체들 사이에 재생의 기본 원칙을 합의하고 정책화함으로서 지속가능한 주거환경 창출과 다층커뮤니티 양성을 위한 토양을 마련하였다. 이 연구 결과로서 한국의 주거지 재생사업에 적용할 수 있는 참여형 디자인 방법의 네 가지 시사점을 도출하였다. The purpose of this study was to suggest flexible solutions and strategies for regeneration of the deprived residential areas by studying the recent housing regeneration project of Kidbrooke area in UK. The design process and concept of Kidbrooke Regeneration project has been analysed in order to identify possibilities of building social substantiality within built environment. As social decline caused by economic rundown and social conflicts between communities was main elements leading the Kidbrooke area into one of the worst residential areas in UK, the regeneration would needed to place the agreed principles between the residents and other stakeholder prior to commence of development in order to create social substantiality, placeness of the old and new spaces, different types of affordable housings, social infrastructure, sustainable jobs, access to further education, and accessible transportation throughout 20years of long regeneration period. As a result of this study, four strategic approach have been proposed in order to encourage participatory design process on urban regeneration in Korea.

엘리자베스(Elizabeth)조의 복수극은 근친피살에 대한 복수의 주제를 중심으로 세네카(Seneca)류의 잔인성과 마카아벨리(Machiavelli)적 음모에 탐닉하는 연극쯤으로 일반적으로 인식되어 왔다. 그리고, 복수극의 컨벤션이라 할 소위 ‘키드 공식’ (Kydian formula)은 그러한 센세이셔날리즘(sensationalism)에 복무하기 위하여 고안된 것으로 이해되었다. 그러나, 우수한 복수극은 복수에 대한 연극이라기보다는 복수주제가 야기하는 당대의 여러 가지 윤리적, 정치적, 심리적인 문제에 대한 탐구이며, 여기서 제기된 모든 문제들은 궁극적으로 형이상학적이며 종교적인 질문을 환기하는 것이라고 본고는 믿는다. 그리고, ‘키드 공식’, 가령 ‘복수의 지연’이나 복수를 외치는 망령 등은 센세이셔날리즘의 추구에서 비롯된 것이 아니라 이런 궁극적 문제를 예리하게 드러내기 위한 문학적 장치였다고 생각된다. 『햄릿』은 복수주제가 야기하는 여러 가지 문제들이 다양한 층위에서 서로 얽혀 비극적으로 전개되는 세계이다. 복수를 금지하는 교회의 가르침과 아버지의 복수라는 ‘자연스러운’ 본성간의 갈등이 기본적으로 윤리적인 문제라면, 복수자의 원수가 국왕이라는 점에서 복수행위는 필연적으로 정치적인 문제를 끌고 들어가지 않을 수 없게 된다. 이것은 햄릿이 전통적인 복수자상을 넘어, 부왕의 죽음과 함께 사라졌다고 보는 도덕적 분별심을 덴마크에 회복시키는 사회 개혁적 사명을 스스로 의식하는 점에서 강화된다. 궁극적으로 이 모든 문제들은 복수극의 세계를 지배하는 초자연적 주관자에 대한 믿음 (혹은 회의)으로 이어지게 되고, 이것은 극중왕의 대사와 햄릿 스스로가 자신의 탈출에 대한 설명과정에서 느낀 ‘특별섭리’를 거론하는 대목에서 잘 드러난다. ‘특별섭리’라는 이 칼빈주의 용어가 시사하는 바대로 복수를 포기할 때 과연 신의 섭리 하에서 정의가 이루어질 것인가, 아니면 햄릿 자신이 직접 ‘신의 대리자’로서 수행한 정의가 타당한 것인가 하는 종교적 문제는 결국 망령의 정체성과 극의 결말을 바라보는 관객의 평가에 의존될 수밖에 없을 것이다. 망령은 이 지상의 차원이 저승과 연결되어 있다는 점을 강하게 암시하지만, 그의 요구가 과연 초월적 존재의 가치를 대변하느냐 하는 점은 여전히 불분명하며, 바로 이점에서 복수자의 행위는 실존적 결단에 따른 종교적인 믿음의 행위와 근본적으로 다르지 않다.

Breaking the barrier in children’s literature for the format as the first graphic novel to win the prestigious Newbery Award, Jerry Craft’s New Kid is an important bildungsroman for contemporary America. Revolving around its protagonist Jordan Banks, a twelve-year-old middle-class African American boy in New York City, the plot follows his middle school experiences at a predominantly white upscale private school far away from his Washington Heights apartment. Suddenly being exposed to the racializing gazes, he not only feels like a vulnerable outsider but also experiences frustrating microaggressions on a daily basis. Even the bus ride between his neighborhood and school is an exhausting process where he must perform different selves to fit in and conform to the shifting cultural codes on the route. The childish graphic novel that he draws in his sketchbook, however, demonstrates his humor and artistic agency as well as his critical gaze into the contradictions and problems that surround him. Above all, narratives of superhero comics are at play in his growth and transformation from a quiet new kid to a brave champion of the weak who stands up to protect his friends. The cover of New Kid features an average African American boy wearing a hoodie, but the story offers the possibility of an ordinary superhero in a hoodie as well.

무선 인터넷 기술의 발전과 휴대 단말장치 기술의 급속한 발전과 더불어 무선 모바일 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 많은 응용들이 개발되고 있다. 최근 어린이나 영유아를 상대로 하는 유괴와 성폭행 등 약자를 상대로 하는 흉악한 범죄가 급증하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 범죄로부터 어린이들을 보호하고 미아가 발생했을 때 빠른 시간 안에 미아의 위치를 추적하여 찾아낼 수 있는 무선 모바일 환경에서의 GPS와 블루투스를 이용한 미아방지 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. We are being developed many applicaton of wireless mobile computing system environment with development of wireless internet technology and teminal eqipment. Lately, Modern Society increase terror of infant children and weak peoples. This study suggested missing child prevention and protection of infant children. When happened an emergency of missing child has risen, we suggest missing child prevention system. This system find position of missing child in fast time. We analysis and design and constructed missing child prevention system by bluetooth and GPS of wireless mobile environment.

이인직의『치악산(전편)』에 나타난 「자연주의1)문학」의 연원에 관한 생태 심리학적 접근을 통한 고찰

다지리 히로유끼, 2023, 이인직의 뺷치악산(전편)뺸에 나타난 「자연주의문학」의 연원에 관한 생태 심리학적 접근을 통한 고찰, 어문연구, 199 : 139~176 근대 이전의 오랜 세월 동안 인간은 자연과 상호의존적인 관계에 있다고 생각했다. 그런 생각을 벤자민· 키드나 이인직도 계승하고 있다. 자아라는 존재는 술어적 통합의 장에 있다. 광의의 환경을 술어적 통합(=類化)을 통해 유기적으로 자아와 관계 맺는主客一如의 <자연>관 도입에는 서양 사상의 수용체로서의 양명학(혹은 老莊思想) 이 작용했다. ‘만물일체의 인(仁)’을 설파한 왕양명의 사상에서 마음은 성(性)을갖추고 정(情)이 움직이는 바로 그 자리를 가리키는 용어였다. 백돌은 생존을 위한 수단을 스스로 마련할 수밖에 없음을 깨닫고 외국으로 유학을 떠난다. 백돌의‘나라를 생각하는 마음’은 이씨 부인의 순수한 사랑으로 보완된다. 이인직이 독자들에게 원했던 것은 대가를 바라지 않는 순수한 사랑과 그에 따른 기쁨이 진정한행복이라는 非利他的인 사회적 헌신 사상(약자 도덕)에 의한 자기 긍정에 있었다고 생각된다. 이씨 부인은 얼굴을 씻을 물을 찾아 우물물에 비친 자신 모습을 보고몸을 던진다. 이씨 부인은 환경=<자연>에 휩쓸려가는 삶을 받아들이는 것(자연으로 돌아가는 것)을 선택한다

동아시아 사회진화론의 수용과 그 계보-신소설 작가들의 사회진화론 인식론에 대한 서설(序說)-

이 논문은 신소설 작가들의 사회진화론 인식론에 대한 서설로, 동아시아 사회진화론의 수용과 그 계보를 거칠게나마 살피는 것을 목적으로 했다. 중국의 옌푸(嚴復)·량치차오(梁啓超), 일본의 가토 히로유키(加藤弘之)를 중심으로 살피기는 했지만, 이들과 유럽의 연쇄고리를 전제한 후 영국의 스펜서·헉슬리·키드와 독일의 블룬칠리·헤켈 등의 진화론사상을 동시에 포괄했다. 이를 통해 중국의 엄복·양계초, 일본의 가토 히로유키 등의 사회진화론사상의 뿌리를 확인하기도 했다. 즉 개인의 방임을 강조한 영국 발 사상이냐, 아니면 개인마저도 국가에 수렴하는 강력한 국가우위의 독일 발 사회진화론이냐, 하는 갈림길에 주목했던 것이다. 양계초는 영국 사상가들에게서, 가토 히로유키는 독일의 사상을 적극 수용했음을 알 수가 있었다. 당시 조선의 신소설 작가들 또한 자신의 사상적 바탕을 사회진화론에 두고 있었다는 사실을 인정하다면 양계초를 매개로 사회진화론사상을 받아들였는가, 아니면 가토 히로유키를 키워드로 수용했는가 하는 문제는 중요하게 다가올 수밖에 없을 터다. 그 결과 양계초와 카토 히로유키를 매개로 수용한 조선의 사회진화론은 그 성격을 달리했던 것이다. 이들로부터 영향을 받은 신소설 작가들 또한 작품의 지향점이 극명하게 갈리게 된다. 이 논문이 거듭 근대문학 해석에서 사회진화론을 상정하는 이유도 여기에 있다. This is an introductory study on the epistemology of social evolution theory of new novel writers and aims to figure out the acceptance of East Asia social evolution theory and its genealogy in a broad manner. While Yenpu and Ryangchichao of China, and Kato Hiroyuki of Japan were focused in the study, the study also included the evolution theory of Spencer, Huxley and Kidd of England and Bluntschli and Hegel of Germany as well in the presupposition of their link to the Europe. In doing so, the study could find the root of social evolution theory of Eom Bok and Yang Gecho of China and Kato Hiroyuki of Japan. It means that this study paid attention to fork load between the idea of England that focused on individual rights and the idea of Germany that put strong national superiority over individual. Yang Gecho accepted the ideas of English thinkers and Kato Hiroyuki adopted the idea of Germany actively. If new noble writers in Joseon of the time were based on social evolution theory in their ideological foundation, it would be significant if they received social evolution theory via Yang Gecho or if they accepted Kato Hiroyuki as their key word. As a result, the characteristics of social evolution theory in Joseon were different by the media from Yang Gecho and Kato Hiroyuki. The orientation of novels of new novel writers was dramatically divided. That is the reason why this study focused on social evolution theory in the interpretation of the modern literature.

This paper uses Kim Hak Mook to discuss the establishment of the Seoul National University Social Work Department in relation to the circuit of US-originated aid. For this reason, this paper’s object of study is the Stanford Hoover Archive’s Kim Hak Mook File. The Asian Foundation collection which has been open to the general public since 2010 provides a clue to understanding and identifying the circuit of US-originated aid through the Korean War. As Charles Armstrong has noted, an asymmetrical support structure based on military aims bred alienation and delays in other areas interlinked with the de-colonization project of South Korea that remained unresolved before the outbreak of the Korean War. In particular, Armstrong points out that because the dismissal and considerable lack of awareness about the sectors of education and culture directly related to the long-term vision of the national de-colonization project concluded with the mass exodus of literati and intellectuals for North Korea. Although the Korean War did not completely eliminate this asymmetric aid system, it strengthened the aid system of the education and cultural sector which was relatively alienated, the so-called ‘Kim Hak-mook’ file is said to have been located in this series of flows. The so-called ‘Kim Hak-mook’ file refers to the documents and papers compiled in “Korea Individuals, Kim Hak-Mook(SocialWork), Box P-59” included in the Asia Foundation collection of the Stanford Hoover Archives. After closely surveying the question and answer section of the current SNU Social Welfare Department and office website and 『The Fifty-year History of the Seoul National University Social Welfare Department』, I would like to tentatively suggest this is the first time that the so-called ‘Kim Hak-mook’ file has been introduced in Korea other than the John C. Kidneigh Report. The establishment of the SNU Social Work Department that runs throughout the so-called ‘Kim Hak Mook’ File was set in motion by a different circuit of support, Kava’s civilian assistance has complemented and replaced public aid centering on applied studies for immediate needs. The series of proceedings leading up to the establishment of the SNU Social Work Department compels us to retrace this specific circuit of support, in other words, the various contacts and exchanges that took place between institutions including a Christian organization by the name of Unitarian Service Committee(USC), the American-Korean Foundation(AKF), the University of Minnesota, and the Asia Foundation as well as between individuals like John C. Kidneigh, Helen Fogg, Curtice Hitchcock, Lee Sun Keun, Park Solemn, Choi Kyu Nam, David I. Steinberg, and Kim Hak Mook, Ha Sang-nak, Paik Kŭn-chil. This kind of support circuit network exemplifies the “Cold War culture”, originating from the US, that impacted Korea’s education and culture. This paper reconstructs the complicated and varied circuits of support that surrounded the establishment of the SNU Social Work Department investigating the dynamic power relationships of these agencies.

이차유동의 방향이 막냉각 효율에 미치는 영향

막냉각에 관한 많은 연구들은 주유동과 이차유로가 평행한 형태로 연구가 이루어졌다. 하지만 실제 터빈 블레이드에서 이차유로의 방향은 일반적으로 주유동의 방향에 수직한 형태이다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 이차유동의 방향이 이중분사 막냉각의 효율에 미치는 영향을 수치해석을 통해 알아보고자 한다. 분사율은 1, 2이고 횡방향 분사각은 22.5°이다. 분사율이 1일 때 평행 형상에서는 안티키드니 와류가 잘 형성되어 막냉각 효율이 수직 형상의 경우보다 더 높다. 반면에 분사율이 2일 때 수직 형상의 막냉각 효율은 평행 형상보다 향상되었다. 많은 유량의 제트가 서로 반대 방향으로 분사되기 때문에 두 형상 모두 막냉각 효율이 높게 나타난다. 하지만 안티키드니 와류의 영향은 다른 분사율보다 상대적으로 작다. Several studies of film cooling were accomplished with a secondary flow channel parallel to the main flow. In real turbine blades, however, the direction of the secondary flow channel is generally normal to the main flow. Thus, this study performs a numerical analysis to investigate the effects of the direction of secondary flow on the effectiveness of double-jet film cooling. The blowing ratio is 1 and 2, and the lateral injection angle is 22.5°. The parallel channel case creates a well-developed anti-kidney vortex with a blowing ratio of 1, and the laterally averaged film cooling effectiveness of the parallel channel is enhanced compared to the normal channel. The normal channel shows higher performance with a blowing ratio of 2. Both cases show high film cooling effectiveness. These phenomena can be attributed to a high blowing ratio and flow rate rather than an anti-kidney vortex.
