        공원묘지 유실에 의한 대량재해의 개인식별

        Individual identification of severely decomposed or skeletonized bodies is an important part in medicolegal field. 142 bodies were torn up and carried away by flood in a park cemetry, Kwang-Ju, Kyunggi province, Korea at Sept., 10, 1990. The authors examed the 56 bodies, which were gained, through medical, anthropological, odontological, radiological methods, and superimposition for individual identification. Among them, 41 cases were successfully identified, and remaining 15 cases were not identified because of sever destruction and no adequate information.

        동일한 시료에 대한 국내 기관간의 STR 분석결과 비교 : STR 유전자좌 분석법의 표준화 설정을 위하여

        This paper described a collaborative exercise intended to see what kinds of short tandem repeat (STR) loci are used in different DNA typing laboratories in Korea and to compare their results for the demonstration whether uniformity of DNA profiling results from different laboratory could be achieved in Korea Laboratories were asked to test five tissue DNAs using methods routinely used in each laboratory and to report the results to the coordinating laboratory. The exercise demonstrated that each laboratory was using different STR loci for the typing with different STR numbers,2 VNTRS,36 STRs and amelogenin in total, and the direct comparison of the results from all the laboratory for the 18 loci could not be done as only one laboratory submitted typing results. Among 21 loci for which several laboratories submitted typing results, results for 14 loci were the same and results for the other 7 loci were different depending on the participating laboratory. D1S80, F13A01, D16S539, D21S11, D18S51, D3S1744 were the loci with different typing results. Even in the cases where commercial kits were used, the results were not the same depending on the machines used, that is the capillary electrophoresis or the gel based electrophoresis. The reason for the different results, points about the standardization of the methods arid the profiling data were described.

        Recently, the requirements is increased to access the large multimedia data like the fashion information via communication networks. In this work, we design and implement an ICIS that can provide easy retrieval and access methods for its fashion informations and easy uploading and showing the fashion goods of the fashion information providers by constructing a multimedia server-client system that can provide a lot of the fashion informations on the high speed networks.

      • 0.45% 炭素鋼에서 析出된 시멘타이트 粒子의 Growth Kinetics에 관한 硏究

        This study has been carried out to invastigate into the Ostwald Ripering behavior of cementite particles precipitated in 0.45% carbon steel during spheroidizing treatment at a temperature range of from 650℃ to 710℃ after standarding the initial particle size distribution. The results obtained from the experiment are as follows. 1) Average particle size measurements have shown that the slopes of three straight lines obtained from the relation between the log of average particle radius and the log of spheroidizing time for three different temperatures 650℃, 680℃, and 710℃ approaches a value of 1/3 and that the growth of cementite particles occurs by diffusion controlling mechanism. 2) It has been found from the measurements of average radius and the number of particles per unit area that the average value of activation energy is obtained to be 47.1 ㎉/mole, which shows that coarsening of cementite particles is governed by the interdiffusion mechanism of iron and carbon atoms. 3) Cementite particle size distribution curves experimentally measured appears to approach the steady state distribution curve obtained for diffusion controlling mechanism and not to reach it within a spheroidizing time of 640 hours. The shapes of experimentally determined curves are rather broadened compared to that of steady state distribution curve.

        鹿茸藥鍼液의 DNA chip을 利用한 遺傳子 發顯 分析

        Objective : Bone homeostasis is maintained by balance of bone formation and resorption. Therefore, bone related diseases arose by disturbance of this balance between osteoblast and osteoclast activities. To develop a successful screening system the therapeutic components based on oriental medicine is essential to set up systematic approach for that purpose. The purpose of this study is to the know the gene expression using cDNA microarray assay. Methods : Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture extract was prepared by boiling. human osteosarcoma cells(HOS) were treated with Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture solution. Then mRNA was extracted and cDNA microarray assay was performed. Results : Human osteosarcoma cells(HOS) treated with Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture solution(500㎍/㎖) showed that thioredoxin, TAFII31 and two novel genes were increased. However many genes decreased their expression by Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture. Conclusions : This type of approach will give a good chance to explore the favorable effects of Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture. Futher study is needed for investigating the effect of Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal-acupuncture.

      • 조선 전기 궁중무용의 존재 양식에 관한 연구 : 『조선왕조실록』을 중심으로 Centered on the 『The True Record of the Chosun Dynasty』

        The most remarkable characteristics of "jeongjae" (palace dancing and singing) created in the early Chosun dynasty is that it was the means of justifying the foundation of a new dynasty accepting and replacing rather than destroying, Goryeo. As mentioned in the introduction, "dangak" (China-originated music) and "hyangak" (traditional music) had different kinds of jeongjae in the Goryo era, That is, in the former, a bamboo-instrument musician called to the music of dangak, while the words of Chinese characters were sung, in the latter, there was no calling, while the lyrics of Korean alphabets were sung to the music of hyangak. However, among the hyangak jeongjae made in the Chosun age, Chinese lyrics were sung and both hyangak and dangak were played in Botaepyeong and Jeongdaeeop, There was musician calling in Bongnaeeui, Also, dangak was performed in Hyangbal. and Hakmu, Therefore, in the early Chosun dynasty, jeongjae was not clearly differentiated between hyangak arid dangak.         음경에 발생한 기저세포암 1예

        Basal cell carcinoma is the most common malignant skin cancer in Korea. The lesions are most frequently found in the head and neck region. But penile basal cell carcinoma is very rare and there are only 29 other reported cases. We report a rare case of basal cell carcinoma of the penis in a 76-year-old man. He had a well circumscribed 1.3㎝×1.3㎝ thick scaly plaque with central ulcer in right penile root area for 4 years. The lesion was completely excised and no recurrence for four months.         공동주택의 포름알데히드 농도특성 분석에 관한 연구

        This study aims to investigate the concentration of formaldehyde, which is one of the most well-known VOCs(Volatile Organic Compounds), and analyze the characteristic of its concentration in newly-constructed apartment houses. The field measurement was conducted in different five apartment house complexes located in Seoul and Kyonggi province. Indoor concentration of formaldehyde showed between 0.018ppm and 0.607ppm. The average concentration was 0.150ppm and above the foreign standards. It result from the new construction. Also, the higher measurement position and the bigger measurement extent, the greater concentration of formaldehyde. And it was treated by the statistic program to examine the objective relations among the concentration of formaldehyd, measurement factors and basic thermo-environment elements. As a result, the temperature, the relative humidity and the measurement position had a validly effect on the concentration of formaldehyde and the temperature extremely influenced it.

        鹿茸藥鍼이 骨形成에 미치는 影響

Methods : This study was perforated Sprague-Dawley rat femur for bony defects(φ 5㎜) by the fissure bur. And experimetal group were treated with Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu injection at both She`nshu~(BL23) & Da`zhu`(BL11)(0.2㎖). This was evaluated by radiography and histological analysis with in situ hybridization. Results : Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal Acupuncture has weak effect on bony defect healing and this was evaluated by X-ray taking and histological analysis with in situ hybridization. Osteocalcin gene expression was not changed by Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu Herbal Acupuncture in bony defects animal model. Conclusion : Taken together this study show that the Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu herbal-acupuncture has a weak effect healing of bony defects, this type of approach might give a good chance to explore the favorable effects of Cervi Pantotricuhum Cornu herbal-acupuncture on bone tissue.
