금번 연구를 통해 외래산림해충 확산 분석 플랫폼 K-SDM (K-SDM)의 해충 분포 기능이 개발되었다. 해충 분포를 보여주는 기능은 2가지로 구현되며, 조사 자료를 바탕으로 현재 국내의 해충 분포를 나타내는 “외래산림 해충분포”기능과 데이터를 분석하여 예측되는 미래의 해충 분포를 제공하는 “외래산림해충예측”기능이 있다. “외래산림해충분포”는 조사자에 의해 현장에서 구축된 DB 현황을 지도상에 수치로 나타내며, 입력 기간, 해충 종 별로 구분이 가능하여 원하는 해충종의 분포를 선택하여 볼 수 있다. 지도 좌측에는 각 도별로 조사된 해충 개체수의 통계를 도표로 제공하여 수치상으로도 해충 분포를 파악할 수 있다. “외래산림해충예측”은 DB를 분석 하고 미래 기후 시나리오를 적용하여 도출한 미래의 해충 예측 분포도를 사용자에게 제공되며, 미리보기 이미지 와 함께 원본자료가 첨부되어 좀 더 자세한 정보를 열람할 수 있다. 본 플랫폼의 해충 분포 기능은 최근 기후변화 등으로 외래산림해충의 발생이 증가하는 추세에 맞춰 이들의 현재 분포와 미래의 분포양상을 조기 파악하여 이를 통한 추후 조기 방제 및 대응책 마련 등에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Although hyaluronic acid (HA) has been developed as a nanoparticle (NP; 320-400 nm) for a drug delivery system, the tissue targeting efficacy and the pharmacokinetics of HA-NPs are not yet fully understood. After a dose of 5 mg/kg of cyanine 5.5-labeled HA-NPs or HA-polymers was intravenously administrated into mice, the fluorescence was measured from 0.5 h to 28 days. The HA-NPs fluorescence was generally stronger than that of HA-polymers, which was maintained at a high level over 7 days in vivo, after which it gradually decreased. Upon ex vivo imaging, liver, spleen, kidney, lung, testis and sublingual gland fluorescences were much higher than that of other organs. The fluorescence of HA-NPs in the liver, spleen and kidney was highest at 30 min, where it was generally maintained until 4 h, while it drastically decreased at 1 day. However, the fluorescence in the liver and spleen increased sharply at 7 days relative to 3 days, then decreased drastically at 14 days. Conversely, the fluorescence of HA-polymers in the lymph node was higher than that of HA-NPs. The results presented herein may have important clinical implications regarding the safety of as self-assembled HA-NPs, which can be widely used in biomedical applications.

In order to check traction of the elevator, the load-test is positively necessary on the inspection of elevator in Korea. So actual loads are used in the elevator car for the load-test. However, some of advanced countries in Europe, for example Germany, are using the alternative method with no load test instead of traditional load-test. Commonly hydraulic elevator, compared to passenger elevator is mainly used for loading heavy weights. It requires a great deal of labor to carry out load-test. The reason is why we developed a new inspection skill for the load-test of hydraulic elevator without actual loads. The results of studies show that the new method of the load-test can be replace the traditional load-test.

<P>We performed batch dissolution experiments on different sized granite and biotite in pure water, in order to better understand the source and geochemical behavior of fluoride in groundwater. Very high concentrations of fluoride (up to 6-10 mg/l) were observed from granite leaching. Correlations between leached ions suggest that fluoride possibly origi-nates from dissolution of biotite. After ~500 hrs, fluoride concentration gradually decreased because of the supersatura-tion with respect to fluorite as a result of the build-up of sufficient Ca ions by dissolution of Ca-bearing plagioclase. Biotite dissolution experiments also showed that the fluoride concentrations are controlled by the attainment of fluorite saturation, which depends on the removal of Ca ion by adsorption and/or cation exchange on the surface of clay minerals. In summary, this study indicates that occurrence and behavior of fluorine in groundwater are mainly controlled by fluorite precipitation as a function of Ca concentration which depends on several geochemical processes such as dissolution of Ca-bearing minerals, calcite precipitation, and adsorption and/or cation exchange.</P>

This paper describes the out-of-plane order of a liquid crystalline(LC) methacrylate copolymer(3) comprised of a methacrylate(1) with a 4-styrylpyridine moiety as the photo-cyclodimerizable group and a benzoate moiety as the mesogenic group in the side chain, and another methacrylate(2) with a 4-(4-methoxyphenyl)benzoate moiety as the mesogenic group. The composition of 1 and 2 units in 3 was estimated to have a molar ratio of 54.2:45.8 by $^{1}H$ NMR spectroscopy. The X-ray diffraction study revealed that the copolymer forms a partial bilayer smectic structure. The copolymer gave rise to a high out-of-plane order parameter of about 0.74 in a wide LC temperature range of $110{\sim}160^{\circ}C$ after linearly polarized, UV light irradiation and subsequent annealing. Moreover, the external reflection IR analysis indicated that excess UV-light irradiation makes the out-of-plane LC structure of the copolymer appear in a higher and wider temperature range.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Compact endless cast and rolling mill (CEM) is an innovative process to manufacture a hot-rolled steel strip by combining casting and hot-rolling processes. However, the yield point phenomenon (YPP) of low carbon steel strip-processed by CEM induces a negative effect in the steel product and an additional post-process is required to remove the YPP. In this study, the influence of the dislocation density and the grain interior solute atoms on the yield point elongation (YPE) of low carbon steels were quantitatively investigated using 3-dimensional atom probe tomography analysis and X-ray convolutional multiple whole profile fitting. The YPE of low carbon steel is suppressed as the dislocation density increases and carbon atom content decreases. Because the dislocation density of low carbon steel by the CEM process is increased by lowering the processing temperature, the yielding behavior of the CEM products can be eliminated without any additional post-processing. The quantitative study on the carbon/dislocation density and YPP of low carbon steel not only represents the theoretical basis of the role of carbon-dislocation interaction on YPP but also provides an effective solution to optimize the CEM process for superior products.</P>
디지털 항공영상으로 제작된 평지등고선의 정확도 분석연구

현재까지의 국가기본도 1/5000의 수치지도 제작과 수정갱신은 디지털아날로그 항공사진의 GSD 40~60㎝급 영상을 사용하고 있으나 디지털 항공사진(GSD 0.25m)을 촬영함에 따라 이에 적합한 국가기본도 제작사양 및 기준 등 작업 방법 마련이 필요한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 대표적인 지형표현방법인 등고선 제작에 있어 GSD 0.25m 디지털 항공영상을 이용한 자동매칭 기법을 적용하고 정확도를 분석하였다.
