      • 임상화학 검사의 Delta Check System 개발 및 정도관리 효율성 검토

        Background : The application of the delta check in tests in general chemistry detects both random and clerical errors, thus enhancing the reliability of tests. However, since this approach adds the burden of confirming the results to the laboratory, it has the disadvantage of lengthening the turn around time of tests. We speculated that an online delta check system needed to reduce the turn around time. We developed delta quality control system and evaluated its effectiveness of quality control in clinical chemistry. Methods : We developed an online delta check system based on the client-server paradigm. We used IBM PentiumⅢ PC as server and as clients. The database system used was powerbuilder 6.0. Results : In the system we developed, delta screening was performed when test results were input to the computer. The decision over the delta screening was made by comparing it against patient's clinical information and cumulative results within the same screen. Conclusions : The developed delta check method made it available to reduce the turn around time previously spent on delta screening by eliminating the batch processing of tests which was needed in previous approaches separate query cumulative results and patient's clinical informations for screening purposes.

      • 대구지역 특수업태부의 성병에 대한 지각 및 지식과 검진, 이환정도

        The objective of this study is to identify perception, knowledge, test and infection about VD for prostitutes. The subject of this study consisted of 343 prostitutes who were registered in 2 community health centers in Taegu and data was collected from January 12th to 17th, 1987. The results were as follow. 1. Mean of STD test was 22.37 and VDRL test was 1.63 during 6 months. Mean number of infection of VD was 2.82 during 6 months. 2. In the perception about VD, the majority of the subjects perceived VD as some susceptibility, low potential for mortality and often thought and discussed. Regarding public concern about VD, the majority perceived VD as non-socially acceptable disease. In the knowledge about VD, all most of the subjects had relatively high level of knowledge. 3. As the level of STD test according to the general characteristics, high group received more test than lower group in age. As the number of infection, below 1 year and alien group were higher than above 1 year in prostitution period and Korean in partener of prostitution. There were no differences in other characterristics. 4. As the level of perception according to general characteristics, high group was higher level of susceptibility than low group in age. Below middle school group was higher level of potential for recovery and mortality than above high school group in education. Also above 1 year group in duration of prostitution perceived VD as dirty but acceptable disease and alien group perceived more painful disease than Korean group in partener of prostitution. As the level of knowledge, above high school group and alien group were higher level in reason of need for regular VD test than below middle school in education and Korean group in partener of prostitution. In the VD itself and test method, below 1 year group was higher level than above 1 year group in period of prostitution. 5. As the level of perception according to STD level high group perceived VD as more painful disease, and less public concern than low group in STD test. But there were no differences in general.

        웹 기반 토론에서 학습 스타일에 따른 학습자간 상호작용의 유형 및 토론능력 비교

        본 연구는 웹 기반 토론에서 학습자의 학습 스타일(적응자, 분산자, 융합자, 수렴자)에 따른 학습자-학습자상호작용(learner-learner interaction)의 유형 및 상호작용 내용 면에서의 질적 수준인 토론 능력은 어떻게 달라지는지를 비교 분석하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 연구 목적에 따른 세부적인 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 1.학습 스타일에 따라 학습자-학습자 상호작용의 유형에는 차이가 있는가? 2.학습 스타일에 따라 학습자-학습자 상호작용의 내용 면에서의 질적 수준인 토론 능력에는 차이가 있는가? 연구 결과는, 학습 스타일에 따른 학습자-학습자 상호작용의 유형 중 의미단위의 사용(F=4.436, p<.05), 참여적(게시자료 수) (F=5.608, p<.05), 사회적(F=3/756, p<.05), 상호작용적(F=4.744, p<.05), 인지적 차원(F=3.743, p<.05)의 상호작용 유형에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났고, 메타인지적 차원의 상호작용 유형에서는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았다((F=.599, p<.05). 학습자의 학습 스타일에 따라 토론 능력에는 차이가 있는지를 비교해 본 결과 학습 스타일에 따라 토론능력 평가 점수도 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다(F=7.774, p<.05). This study provides the basic guidelines for utilizing of the web as means of interactions among students.Types of learner-learner interactions and the discussion quality were analyzed based on learning style(Accomodators, Divergers, Assimilators, Convergergers). Research questions are: 1.Is there any difference among learner-learner interaction types based on learning styles? 2.Is there any difference in the discussion quality based on learning styles? The results of this research are as follows: First, as a result of the analysis to the learning style, there are significant statistical differences in the Unit of Meaning(=4.436, p<.05), participative Dimension(F=5.608, p<.05), Social Dimension(F=3.756, p<.05), interactive Dimension(F=4.744, p<.05), and cognitive Dimension(F=3.743, p<.05).However, there is little significant difference in the Metacognitive Dimension(F=.599, p<.05). Second, as a result of the analysis to find out the differences in the discussion quality level of the content in learner-learner interactions, according to the learning style, there are significant statistical differences (F=7.774, p<.05), in the discussion quality level of the content between Accomodators-Divergers and between Accommodators-Convergers.The level of Accomodators was significantly higher than the other categories.

      • 유전체의 과도 산란 해석을 위한 시간영역 결합 적분방정식

        In this paper, we propose a time domain combined field integral equation (TD-CFIE) formulation to analyze the transient electromagnetic response from three-dimensional dielectric objects. The solution method in this paper is based on the method of moments(MoM) that involves separate spatial and temporal testing procedures. A set of the RWG(Rao, Wilton, Glisson) functions is used for spatial expansion of the equivalent electric and magnetic current densities and a combination of RWG and its orthogonal component is used as spatial testing. We also investigate spatial testing procedures for the TD-CFIE to select the proper testing functions that are derived from the Laguerre polynomials. These basis functions are also used for temporal testing. Numerical results computed by the proposed formulation are presented and compared with the solutions of the frequency domain combined field integral equation(FB-CFIE).

        One of multienzyme complexes involved in oxidative decarboxylation of 2-oxo acids, pyruvate dehydrogenase complex(PDHC) has an important role in cellular energy metabolism. PDHC was isolated from bovine kidney and the anti PDHC anti sera was raised in rabbit. The antisera were inmunoreacted with all the subunits(E2, E3, protein-X, Ela and E1β ) of PDHC. An attempt is being made to identify PDHC subunits serologically in human leukocyte using the anti-PDHC antisera.

        Emphysematous cystitis is an uncommon disease in which bacterias produce gas within the bladder wall and surrounding tissue. Patients with diabetes, neurogenic bladder and chronic urinary tract infection are predisposed to the disease. It is usually caused by E.coli and Klebsiella. Severity of illness ranges from an asymtomatic condition to life threatening cystitis. Succesful management depends on early diagnosis with correction of underlying causes, administration of appropriate antibiotics, establishment of adequate bladder drainage and surgical excision of involved tissue when required. We report a case of 52-year-old woman who did not compain of symtoms of cystitis but epigastric pain, nausea, and vomitting. Emphysematous cystitis was revealed on the abdominal X-ray series incidentally. CT scans of the pelvis showed mottled gas bubble within the bladder. After treatment, the symtoms subsided and plain abdominal film showed no evidence of gas shadow in the pelvic cavity.

      • 엔로플록사신 액제의 닭유래 병원세균에 대한 시험관내 항균효과 시험

        In this study the antimicrobial spectrum and sensitivity of a liquid formulation of enrofloxacin against the major six pathogenic bacteria isolated from the diseased poultry in Korea were evaluated in comparison with ciprfloxacin (CFX), gentamicin (GM) and penicillin (PC). A liquid form of enrofloxacin, a test material and ciprofloxacin showed at least 83% antibacterial activity against all of six test pathogenic microorganisms at the fixed concentration of 10 ㎍/㎖. Gentamicin and penicillin revealed much lower antibacterial activity at the same condition. We evaluated the liquid form of enrofloxacin as having widespread antibacterial spectrum against poultry infections. The liquid form of enrofloxacin showed potent antibacterial activity, with the MIC range being 0.12∼2 ㎍/㎖ against Gram positives, 0.06∼2 ㎍/㎖ against Gram negatives and 0.5∼2 ㎍/㎖ against Mycoplasma spp. These values were equivalent to or somewhat higher than those of ciprofloxacin, but much lower than those of gentamicn and penicillin. This new liquid form of enrofloxacin would find its way in application of mixing with drinking water for the prevention and treatment of diverse infections in chickens.

      • 엔로플록사신 액제의 닭 호흡기 및 소화기 감염증에 대한 예방 및 치료효과

        We evaluated the efficacy of the liquid form of enrofloxacin against poultry respiratory and digestive infections, the major problems in the poultry industry, from diverse diagnosis viewpoints. Results obtained through this study were as follows: 1. The liquid form of enrofloxacin showed good acceptability to poultry owing to no abhorrence to the drug by chickens, which indicated its suitability for mixing in drinking water. 2. The application of the enrofloxacin formulation improved the productivity of the chicken farm to a great extent by lowering the death toll of chicken raised in the farm. 3. The use of the drug shortened the days to the market, and increased the body weight at the time of marketing. 4. Preventive and therapeutic effects of the liquid enrofloxacin were observed higher than ampicillin, a major antibiotic used in poultry farming. From above results, the liquid form of enrofloxacin would find its use for the prevention and treatment of digestive and respiratory infections, let alone the growth promotion and feed efficiency, especially in the chicken farming practice.

        크롬(Ⅵ)의 체내 흡수와 소실속도에 관한 연구

        The CrO3 mostly used in plating. metal surface disposal, leather, cosmetic manufacturing, as an experiment material by repeatedly inhaling and exposure the male S.D. rats at a 0.00, 0.2., 0.50, 1.25 mg/㎡ concentration(particle size: 0.5-0.5 aerosol)6hours a day, 5day a week in 13weeks comparing with 2weeks, 8weeks of recovery group about the noxiousness of the experiment animal and the reduce scale of the CrO3 in the internal organ especially in blook and respiratory organ with the period of convalescent and clearance. The experiment results which we received are as follows. 1. In blood the RBC, HGB and HCT experiment, rats with 0.20, 0.50 mg/㎡ concentration showed that there were some decreases but not dependent. The kidneys absolute weight compared with control group was reduced intentionally(p〈0.05) and the lungs absolute weight compared with control group showed intentional increase(p〉0.05). 2. After the exposure of the experiment material, the whole blook, l\blood plasma and red blood cell in blood by (x): the period of convalescent, per (y); the decreasing of Cr concentration, was y=66.51 e -0.057x, y=67.2 e-0.101x, y=70.01 e-0.030 in 0.50 mg/㎡ exposure concentration by calculating the clearance coefficient of correlation, and the half life (day)was estimated 12.0, 6086, 23.0 each. 3, After the exposure of the experiment material, the experiment animals lung, liver and kidneys by(x); the period of convalescent, per (y); the decreasing of Cr conentration, was y=1808 e-0.00493x, y=12.02e-0.0297x, y=67.61 e-0.0292x in 0.50mg/㎡ exposure concentration by calculating the clearance coefficient of correlation, and the half life(day)was estimated 140.6, 23.3, 23.7, each, and including lung, liver with all of the experiment internal organs, the Cr clearance decreased as the exposure concentration increased.

      • Bacillus sp. KCM-101에 의한 내열성 α-amylase의 생산 및 효소학적 성질

        A strain isolated from soil was able to produce thermostable α-amylase. The strain (KC-101) was identification as Bacillus sp. Bacillus sp. KC-101 was treated NTG(N-methyl-nitro-nitrosoguanidine). The mutant KCM-101 increased α-amylase activity and decreased pretease activity. The condition for production, purification, and properties of α-amylase were investigated. α-Amylase production was maximized when was grown on soluble starch 2.0%, yeast extract 0.5%, K2HPO4 0.1% and MnCl2 0.02% for 24hrs at 37℃, and initial pH 7.0. The enzyme production was also increased by the addition of 0.01% Triton X-100. The enzyme was purified by ultrafiltration(MW 10,000), 80% ammonium sulfate precipitation, and Sephadex G-75 gel chromatography and it's yield 15.0%, The characteristics of purified α-amylase were as follow : MW 55,000, optimal pH and temperature were 7.0 and 95℃, respectively. The enzyme was activated by Ca++ and Mn++ ion but inhibited Co++, Cu++, Hg++, and Pb++ ion. The enzyme was stable at 95℃ and it's thermostability was greatly increased by the addition of Ca++. In kinetic studies, the Km value of α-amylase for soluble starch was 0.93mg/mL.
