Floristic characteristics of vascular plants and first distributional report of Pseudostellaria baekdusanensis M. Kim in Yongneup wetland protected area

Yongneup wetland protected area, the only high moor in Korea, is a core area to conserve biodiversity. Even though the Yongneup wetland protected area is relatively small, various plant species are distributed in the Yongneup wetland protected area because it includes various habitats showing different environmental gradients. Vascular plants distributed in the Yongneup wetland protected area were identified as a total of 376 taxa that is composed of 73 families, 217 genera, 322 species, 3 subspecies, 44 varieties and 7 forms. For endangered plants designated by the Ministry of Environment, 5 species including Trientalis europaea var. arctica, Lilium dauricum, Halenia corniculata, Lychnis wilfordii and Menyanthes trifoliata were found and 34 taxa were confirmed to be distributed only in the mountainous wetland habitats. Regarding naturalized plants, a total of 11 taxa were distributed, but most of them were distributed in the areas where artificial interference has occurred. And in areas inside the wetlands that are relatively well preserved, 2 species of Bidens frondosa and Erigeron annuus were observed. In this study, the occurrence and distribution of Pseudostellaria baekdusanensis M. Kim, which was recently found in Mt. Baekdu and reported as a new species, were identified in the Yongneup wetland protected area. A wetland is a very vulnerable area to drastic environmental changes and damages to its ecosystem could cause the extinction of rare plant species which are distributed only in the wetlands. Therefore, it is mandatory that current status of the Yongneup wetland protected area is evaluated and actions to prevent rapid environmental changes are taken. Fourteen separate investigations were conducted in 2013 and another four in 2014, to evaluate current status of the Yongneup wetland protected area. These investigations have provided us the basic information for future actions of conservation and restoration.

The chronic suppurative otitis media is one of the most common disease in the otologic field. And the works on bacterial distribution of chronic suppurative otitis media were studied by many otologist, but there is some difference. The bacteriologic study was done on 126 cases of chronic suppurative otitis media who visited the Department of Otolaryngology, Chosun University Hospital between January 1989 and December 1989 and the following conclusions were obtained. 1) In sex distribution, the male had higher incidence rate than female (M: 56.3%, F:43.7%). 2) In age distribution, 3rd decade (34.1%), 2nd decade (34.1%), were most prevalent. 3) In duration of the disease, the hightest frequence was below 5 years duration 4) Among 126 cases, 98 cases(77.8%) were unilateral (right ear was 47 cases(37.3%) and left ear was 51 cases(40.5%))and 28 cases(22.2%) were bilateral. 5) The 136 cases(88.3%) showed the positive results under culture, but 18 cases(11.7%) didn't growthed. Among 136 cases 95 cases(61.7%) had single infection and the 41 cases(26.6%) had mixed infection. 6) The most frequently isolated bacteria was staphylococcus(38 strains, 27.9%) and next were proteus(27 strains, 19.9%) and pseudomonas (22 strains, 16.2%). 7) The Staphylococcus was sensitive to cephalothin(94.7%), amikacin(78.9%) and resistant to penicaIin(63.2%). 8) The Proteus was sensitive to amikacin(92.6%), cephalothin(88.9%) and resistant to minocycline(81.5%) and gentamicin(70.4%). 9) The Pseudomonas was sensitive to amikadn(86.4%), gemtamicin(59.1%) and resistant to minocycline(90.9%), ampicillin(86.4%) and cephalothin(86.4%).

농부가 아닌 환자에서 발생한 긴털가루진드기(Tyrophagus Putrescentiae)에 의한 기관지천식 1례

Storage mites are believed one of the most important allergens in farmers and rural regions. Tyrophagus putrescenitiae, belonging to storage mites, is found not only within storehouses but also in the house dust, and the third most common mites following Dematophagoides farinae and Dermatophagoides pteronyssnus in house dust in Korea. The sensitization rate to Trophagus putrescentiae was reported as high as that of house dust mite in patients visiting the allergy clinic in large cities in Korea. We experienced a 69-year-old man who had suffered from dyspnea, wheezing, and coughing for 10 years. He retired from the teaching profession, and had lived in a large city. Deajeon. The skin prick test showed a positive reaction to Tyrophagus putrescentiae and negative reactions to house dust mites. The bronchial challenge test with Tyrophagus putrescentiae showed late asthmatic reaction. We confirmed a Tyrophagus putrescentiae induced asthma in non occupational setting. 4*(M/M/1)시스템에서 로컬 및 글로벌 실시간 처리를 위한 스케줄링 알고리즘의 시뮬레이션 분석

본 논문은 동종의 프로세서로 구성된 분산처리 시스템에서 엄격한 실시간 처리제한을 갖는 정기적 프로세스의 로컬 스케줄링 및 비정기적 실시간 처리 프로세스와 일반 프로세스의 글로벌 스케줄링 알고리즘에 대한 시뮬레이션 성능 분석을 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 로컬의 정기적 실시간 프로세스에 대한 deadline이전 처리를 100% 보장하면서 글로벌 스케줄링을 수행함으로써, 비정기적 실시산 프로세스이 deadline miss ratio가 명백히 감소하였고, 시스템 전체에 대한 load imbalance 및 response time이 개선됨을 보였다. This paper presents a scheduling algorithm for processes with hard real-time constraints which works dynamically in loosely-coupled distributed systems. It includes scheduling problems to guarantee periodic and non-periodic processes with execution deadlines, and it also takes account into preemption, overhead due to scheduling, and the effect of normal processes without strict time constraints. The results of simulation show that this algorithm reduce deadline miss ratio, average response time, and root mean square difference in work load substantially.

This study was designed to exam the aged's needs for spiritual nursing care. The purpose was to serve as a basis for the development of spiritual nursing practice. The major findings are as follows : 1. The degree of needs for spiritual nursing care as area was that needs of love and relationship mean 22.0, needs of meaning and object mean 28.2, needs of forgiving mean 13.5. Total needs for spiritual nursing care mean 63.7, which was on the upper middle level. The needs of meaning and object was rated highest. 2. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, needs of love and relatiohship wasn't significanlty different. 3. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, needs of meaning and object was significantly different according to two factors : age(F=7.260, p=0.001), religion(F=5.275, p=0.001). Higher needs of meaning and object was possessed by the older than the younger, by the one who have religion than the other. 4. Among the general characteristics of the subjects, four factors made a significantly difference to needs of forgiving : sex(t=-2.851, p=0.006), age(F=8.201, p=0.001), religion(F=6.928, p=0.000), disease(t=2.327, p=0.024). Higher needs of forgiving was possessed by man than woman, by the older than the younger, by the one who have religion than the other, by the one who have disease than the other.

중학교 기술과 교육을 위한 직소 응용 협동학습 모형의 적용 전략

The purposes of this study were to review the models of extended Jigsaw cooperative learning, and to strategies of its models for technology education in the middle school. Therefore, the study was conducted through literature research on the theory of Jigsaw-related cooperative learning. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The established models of extended Jigsaw cooperative learning in this study were 7 : Jigsaw, Jigsaw n, Jigsaw III, Double Expert Group Jigsaw, Partner Expert Group Jigsaw, Co-op Jigsaw I, Co-op Jigsaw II. 2. The 6 lesson plans based on the 7 models of extended Jigsaw cooperative learning (Jigsaw, Jigsaw II+Jigsaw III, Double Expert Group Jigsaw, Partner Expert Group Jigsaw, Co-op Jigsaw I, Co-op Jigsaw II) were developed. The the models of extended Jigsaw cooperative learning, and to strategies of its models for technology education in the middle school should be conducted experimental study in classrooms in following study.

The ultimate goal of periodontal disease therapy is to promote the regeneration of lost periodontal tissue, there have been many attempts to develop a method to achieve this goal. The purpose of this study was to evaluation the effects of BBP, DLB on bone formation in human fetal osteoblasts. We examined the effect of BBP, DLB on collagen synthesis of human fetal osteoblasts. Collagen synthesis level of 5mg of BBP(5.80±0.18㎍/mg/ml), DLB(5.51±0.57㎍/mg/ml) showed significant difference compare with control group(3.58±0.35㎍/mg/ml). We also examined expression of BMP-2 by Western blot analysis. BMP-2 was expressed in both of BBP and DLB. These results suggest that BBP, DLB have an inductive effect on bone formation in vitro increasing with collagen synthesis and expression of BMP-2.

장애자 스포츠 자원봉사자의 유형화에 관한 연구

The purpose of the present study is first to find out the expectations of members of the Council of Sports Coaches for People with Disability, and second, to classify respondents according to their expectations and to investigate the correlation between these expectations and their personal characteristics and desire to engage in volunteer activities. A survey, replicating an earlier study, was carried out, targeting 1000 members of the Council of Sports Coaches for People with Disability in H prefecture during January and February 2004. There were 52 valid responses, representing 48.4% of respondents. The major findings are summarized as follow: 1. There was a strong overall tendency for members to expect to meet and interact with the disabled, as well as with other volunteer associates, and to be eager for self-development. A factor analysis of expectations in relation to activities revealed 5 factors: interaction with associates; social contribution; social benefit; the offer of sports skill; and better use of life. Likewise, a cluster analysis of each factor resulted in classifying the council members into five groups: those who wanted interaction with associates; those who offered sports skills; those who wanted passive participation; those who wanted social contribution; and those who offered disability support. 2. The council members' wishes for volunteer services include caring for the disabled and administering tournaments and club activities, but tournaments have a higher priority. Also within the field of sports coaching, they wanted to act as practice partners more than coaching and refereeing. The survey found that there were a variety of expectations. There has been little consideration given to council members' expectations about the volunteer activities they engage in, This study reveals that the kind of volunteer service they hope for depends on what they expect from those activities, such as assigning volunteers by taking into consideration their expectations concerning activities and the kind of volunteer service they hope for.
