Convergence Service Implementation based on Service Delivery Platform and Research Issues

Service Delivery Platform (SDP) is an enterprise application implementing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts. This paper shows a telecommunication-IT convergence service application development using SDP. SDP has two main components: Common BUS delivering and routing web services and Enablers. We implemented Advanced Navigation which is an integration of three web services: IMS third party call, database, and web-based programming. We will discuss several issues relating to SDP based convergence service development.
Dynamic Collaborative Cloud Service Platform: Opportunities and Challenges

This letter presents a model for a dynamic collaboration (DC) platform among cloud providers (CPs) that prevents adverse business impacts, cloud vendor lock-in and violation of service level agreements with consumers, and also offers collaborative cloud services to consumers. We consider two major challenges. The first challenge is to find an appropriate market model in order to enable the DC platform. The second is to select suitable collaborative partners to provide services. We propose a novel combinatorial auction-based cloud market model that enables a DC platform among CPs. We also propose a new promising multi-objective optimization model to quantitatively evaluate the partners. Simulation experiments were conducted to verify both of the proposed models.

A system for providing a distributed device resource-object-connection service based on a service delivery platform (SDP) is described. The system includes an SDP and proxy. The SDP configures to define distributed service functions as enablers, generates a convergence service by combining the enablers, and provides the generated convergence service. The proxy configures to connect a distributed device and an SDP to allow the SDP to use the distributed device as a resource, and define and use the distributed device as an enabler. The system are capable of defining distributed service functions as well as distributed sensors as enablers, and thereby allowing the distributed sensors to be used in the same sense as service-function enablers.

본 논문은 분산된 센서 디바이스의 리소스 오브젝트 연동 서비스 제공 시스템에 관한 것으로 서비스 전달 플랫폼을 기반으로 한다. 시스템은 서비스 전달 플랫폼(SDP: Service Delivery Platform)과 프록시로 구성되어 있다. 서비스 전달 플랫폼은 분산된 서비스 기능을 인에이블러로 설정하며 인에이블러들의 조합으로 융합서비스를 생성한다. 또한 생성된 서비스를 분산 환경에서 전달하는 역할을 한다. 프록시는 분산된 디바이스들과 서비스 전달 플랫폼을 연결하도록 설정되며 서비스 전달 플랫폼이 분산된 디바이스를 자원으로 인식하여 인에이블러로 정의할 수 있도록 한다. 개발된 시스템을 통하여 분산된 센서 기능이 인에이블러로 정의되어 일반 서비스 기능과 동일한 형태로 융합서비스의 생성 및 전달에 사용될 수 있다.
