Genetic variability and correlation analysis are fundamental references for the innovative development of breeding programs to improve varieties and desirable traits. In the present study, the correlation and path analysis was conducted to understand the association among yield, micronutrients (iron and zinc), and protein content under aerobic conditions in local rice landraces from various agro ecological regions of Karnataka, India. The grain yield per plant showed a significant positive correlation with plant height, the tiller number, spikelet fertility, flag leaf length, and test weight. The zinc content was negatively correlated with grain yield per plant. The phenotypic path-coefficient analysis revealed that the total number of tillers, grain length, test weight, and harvest index exhibited a positive direct effect on grain yield per plant, while Grain protein content showed a low direct effect on this trait. This study also indicated that harvest index, flag leaf length, spikelet fertility, and test weight could be considered to make for a higher yield.
The Moderating Role of CSR Associations on the Link between Brand Awareness and Purchase Intention

This study uses the moderating model to explore the relationships between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) associations, brand awareness and consumer purchase intention. Besides investigating the direct effects of CSR associations on brand awareness and consumer purchase intention, this study also focuses on discovering the moderating role of CSR associations on the relationship between brand awareness and consumer purchase intention among Vietnamese students. Adapting scales from previous research, the authors distribute questionnaires to consumers across the country. Then, the validity and reliability are tested via Cronbach's alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Moreover, by employing a meta-analytical path analysis with a sample of 686 consumers, the authors show that CSR associations play an important role in shaping purchase intention among Vietnamese consumers regarding the consumption of organic milk products. Also, CSR associations have a strong effect on brand awareness. However, our study shows that purchase intention is not directly affected by brand awareness. In other words, brand awareness does not mediate the relationship between CSR associations and purchase intention. Interestingly, authors show that CSR associations moderate the link between brand awareness and consumer purchase intention. Based on the research, some recommendations are made to companies that produce organic milk products.
Inhibitory Activity of Plantago major L. on Angiotensin I-converting Enzyme

Eight compounds were isolated from methanol extract of Plantago major L. leaves and investigated for their ability to inhibit angiotensin I-converting enzyme activity. Among them, compound 1 showed the most potent inhibition with rate of 28.06 ± 0.21% at a concentration of 100 μM. Compounds 2 and 8 exhibited weak activities. These results suggest that compound 1 might contribute to the ability of P. major to inhibit the activity of angiotensin I- converting enzyme.

We report the parameter values of the model dielectric function (ε = ε1 + iε2 ) of SnS0.52Se0.48 in the spectral range from 0.74 to 6.42 eV and the temperature range from 27 to 350 K. An analytic representation, obtained using the Tauc–Lorentz (TL) dispersion model, allows interpolation of the parameters with respect to both energy and temperature. We used reported experimental spectra as the basis of our approach and verified that the TL model can parameterize the model dielectric function so as to reproduce the experimental data well and yield values of the dielectric function and the refractive index at arbitrary temperatures that are useful for device applications.
Sizing, shape and topology optimization of trusses with energy approach

The main objective of this research is to present the procedures of combining topology, shape & sizing optimization for truss structure by employing strain energy as objective function under the constraints of volume fractions which yield more general solution than that of total weight approach. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used as searching engine for the convergence solution. A number of algorithms from previous research are used for evaluating the feasibility and stability of candidate to accelerate convergence and reduce the computational effort. It is followed by solving problem for topology & shape optimization and topology, shape & sizing optimization of truss structure to illustrate the feasibility of applying the objective function of strain energy throughout optimization stages.
Magnetic Properties of Bulk Nd50Co10Fe30Al10-xVx Alloys

This paper presents the results of study on the structure and the properties of the bulk Nd50Co₁0Fe₃0Al₁0xVx (x = 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) alloys prepared by arc-melting and suction cast- ing with water cooling. The cast surfaces of the samples are partly crystalline and the amorphous volume fraction increases with distance into cast samples. With increasing V content, the crys- tallization volume fraction increases and for x = 10, the alloy is fully crystallized. In general, the melting temperature increases, but Ms and Hc decrease with V content. The Curie temperature increases clearly from 430 K (x = 0) to 512 K (x = 10). Thermomagnetic measurements of all samples done in low elds indicate the existence of the Hopkinson effect, which shows a coherent rotation magnetization and a strong reduction of the magnetic anisotropy in partly crystallized sam- ples. The eld-cooled (FC) and the zero field-cooled (ZFC) curves measured in low elds reveal an obvious separation from each other at low temperatures, pointing to the existence of a cluster-glass state. The cluster-glass fraction decreases with increasing V content in the samples. Azimuthal angle dependent dielectric function of SnS by ellipsometry

Since α-SnS has optically strong anisotropic characteristics, a simple method to determine its crystal orientation is strongly needed in device engineering. In this report, by measuring dielectric function ε = ε1 + iε2 of α-SnS in the 1–5 eV spectral region with the full azimuthal angle range, we could find a simple relationship between measured dielectric function values and the orientation of the α-SnS crystal axis. Therefore, during the device manufacturing process, one can use spectroscopic ellipsometry to quickly measure the dielectric response of the α-SnS region of the device to correctly orient the SnS along the preferred direction for the best performance of the device. We also performed the azimuthal angle-dependent analysis of the critical points (CP) analysis, which shows that the positions of CP energies are basically invariant, while their amplitudes and lineshapes strongly depend on the azimuthal angle.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of yeast extract (YE) and salicylic acid (SA) on the expression of curcuminoid-biosynthesis genes (CzDCS and CURS1-3), and accumulation of curcumin in Curcuma zedoaria cell cultures. The results showed that, in cells treated with YE or SA, the expression levels of curcuminoid genes were 1.14- to 3.64-fold higher than the control (untreated cells), in which the YE exhibited a stronger effect in comparison with SA. Curcumin accumulation also tended to be similar to gene expression, curcumin contents in YE- or SA-treated cells were 1.61- to 2.53-fold higher than the control. The SA treatment at the fifth day of culture stimulated the curcumin accumulation and expression in all four genes compared to that at the beginning. While the YE treatments gave different results, the CzCURS1 and CzCURS3 genes were expressed strongly in cells that were treated at the beginning. However, the CzDCS and CzCURS2 genes showed the opposite expression pattern, they were activated strongly in the treatments at day five of the culture. However, the content of curcumin reached its maximum value on the fifth day of culture in all investigations.
Travel Intention to Visit Tourism Destinations: A Perspective of Generation Z in Vietnam

The purpose of this research is to investigate the impacts of gen-Z's perception of consumer-generated content on social media on their travel intention with the mediating role of travel motivation push and pull. An online questionnaire survey of a total of 369 samples was conducted with the participation of gen Z in the most important cities across Vietnam. The model was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS program 22 to investigate model relationships and all hypotheses are significant. The findings indicated that gen Z values the usefulness of social media and they use social media for knowledge-seeking (push factor), and this leads to their intention to visit a destination. SEM analysis also reveals that gen Z tends to use social media to find accessibility to any destinations and they are motivated highly with destinations that have clear and easy access, for example, no visa requirement or neighboring destinations. As the result, they have better intentions to visit these destinations. This research will help marketers, especially marketing specialists to gain a better understanding of gen Z, thus implement better marketing techniques to target gen Z.
