        How Does Brand Legitimacy Shapes Brand Authenticity and Tourism Destination Loyalty: Focus on Cultural Heritage Tourism

        Purpose: The existing cultural heritage tourism research rarely pays attention to the antecedents of brand authenticity. This research fills this gap and points out the critical role of brand legitimacy in building destination loyalty by constructing a theoretical framework. Design/methodology/approach: This study collected 436 valid samples through an online questionnaire survey in China. The respondents were adults over 18 years old who have visited cultural heritage tourism destinations in the past year. This research used a combination of SPSS and AMOS statistical software to examine the theoretical model. Findings: The empirical analysis results showed that the tourist destination s brand legitimacy positively impacts the three dimensions (consistency, credibility, and originality) of the destination brand authenticity. At the same time, brand authenticity positively affects the perceived value, and brand trust positively impacts. Moreover, brand authenticity has a mediating impact on the relationship between brand legitimacy and perceived value and the relationship between brand legitimacy and brand trust. Similarly, perceived value and brand trust also play a mediating role in the relationship between brand authenticity and tourism destination loyalty. Research limitations/implications: This research emphasized the importance of historical inheritance and puts forward specific theoretical and practical enlightenment for heritage tourism from the perspective of brand legitimacy management. However, there are still some research limitations. Future research could expand the research samples to other countries and utilize a more systematic data collection method. Then, the measurement tool of brand legitimacy can also be explored from multiple dimensions. Originality/value: Readers of this paper can understand that brand legitimacy is a necessary but seldom discussed driving factor of authenticity related to heritage tourism. And discussing their positive influence on tourists loyalty can make readers and destination managers better understand tourists behavior in brand management.

        Determining a Key Service Area of Feeder Buses for Rail Transit Station Based on Potential Railway Demand

        As the size of the city expands, longer journeys often involve the use of two or more modes of transportation. Feeder buses perform as a feeder mode of rail transit, its feeder areas are the key factor to improve this bus-rail transit mode service quality. Feeder areas that are either too small or too large can hinder the effectiveness of feeder buses. This paper presents a method to determine a suitable range as the key service of feeder buses for rail transit stations. The modal of accessibility consistency threshold interface of bus and bus-rail transit mode features is established, and the competition area of adjacent stations is considered to calculate the reasonable bus feeder range of rail transit stations. Based on the analysis of the demand characteristics of the feeder passengers, the potential passengers of the bus-rail transit travel mode are defined as the travel where only one endpoint of the starting and ending is within the walking range of the rail transit station, and a method for identifying the points of interest of potential passengers of the bus-rail transit mode is proposed. The potential passenger flow within the reasonable feeder range of rail transit stations is visualized, and the key service areas of feeder buses are determined based on the maximum potential passengers. Taking Jinan Metro Line NO.2 Stations as an example, combined with the station type, the key service area of feeder buses for railway stations is explained.

        Modeling and Analysis of an Avionic Battery Discharge Regulator

        The avionic battery discharge regulator (BDR) plays an important role in a power-conditioning unit. With its merits of high efficiency, stable transfer function, and continuous input and output currents, the non-isolated Weinberg converter (NIWC) is suitable for avionic BDR. An improved peak current control strategy is proposed to achieve high current-sharing accuracy. Current and voltage regulators are designed based on a small signal model of a three-module NIWC system. The system with the designed regulators operates stably under any condition and achieves excellent transient response and current-sharing accuracy.

        Mechanical plugging—solid expandable tubular refracturing technology

        To solve the three major problems of low production, low efficiency and low permeability of oil fields, it is necessary to develop new tight oil layers or shale oil outside the original perforated section in the well that has been perforated. The key to the success of repeated fracturing operations is the ability to block the original perforation of the well. At present, with tubing fracturing construction, volume fracturing of the target reservoir cannot be achieved due to limited displacement, and the effect of reservoir transformation is not obvious, affecting the productivity of the old well. Based on the above problems, this paper proposes a new blocking method suitable for fracturing wells - solid expansdable tubular (SET) plugging. In this paper, it established SET-expansion cone-casing-rubber ring 2D dynamic model which considers the friction, and contact, to analyze the effect of compression and length of rubber ring and the constraint condition of SET on sealing performance; laboratory experiments were carried out and data on driving force, sealing capacity and suspension force were obtained. The results show that optimizing the parameters of expansion cone structure can effectively reduce the residual stress of SET and driving force after expansion; the construction method of SET and the parameters of rubber ring are the main factors that affect the suspension sealing ability, and paper proposes an effective solution; in addition, experiment results show that the SET meets the requirements of fracturing construction with internal pressure greater than 60 MPa and suspension force greater than 600 kN after expansion, and can be used to seal the well body structure of refracturing wells with fewer perforations and shorter distances, and the diameter can be guaranteed to reach 112 mm. The research results provide new ideas and solutions for repeated pressure wells and high-pressure plugging.

        Design and analysis of sealed suspension module based on solid expandable tubular repair technology

        The ability of sealing suspension of solid expandable tubular (SET) is one of the important factors that determine whether pipe can expand normally and serve. To solve the problem that the SET deviates from the original position (causing for the failure to repair of leakage well) due to the insufficient suspension force after expansion, this paper establishes the two-dimensional coupling model of SET-rubber ring-expansion cone-casing based on laboratory experiment parameters, designs the parameters of the sealed suspension rubber ring and conducts simulation. The results show that when the compression amount of the rubber ring is designed to be 47 %-58 % of the rubber thickness, the SET has excellent sealing ability after expansion and can meet the requirements of suspension force; too much compression will affect the service life of the rubber ring. When the length of the rubber ring is 50 mm-110 mm, the driving force and contact pressure during expansion are suitable; the rubber ring spacing is designed to be 110 mm, which avoids interference after rubber compression and saves material. In addition, the vulcanizing bonding strength of the rubber ring should be greater than 120 kN to avoid peeling off due to the failure of the rubber ring and SET bonding. The research results of this paper provide a theoretical basis for the design of sealing suspension module of SET repair technology.

        Psychosocial Factors Associated With Irritable Bowel Syndrome Development in Chinese College Freshmen

        Background/Aims The role of psychosocial factors on irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in adolescents is incompletely understood. The aim of this study is to investigate the association between the psychosocial factors and the risk of developing IBS in college freshmen. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted in a randomly selected freshmen population in Wuhan China (n = 2449). Questionnaire evaluated demographics and psychosocial risks. The population was divided into 3 groups: non-discomfort, chronic abdominal discomfort and IBS. The association between the development of IBS and psychosocial factors was analyzed by ordinal and multiple logistic regression analysis. Results A total of 2053 (83.8%) completed this survey (mean age, 18.2 ± 0.9 years; female, 35.6%). Among them, 82 (4.0%) fulfilled the Rome III criteria for IBS. Female (odds ratio [OR], 3.31; 95% confidence interval [CI], 2.47–4.45), experience of abuse (OR, 2.44; 95% CI, 1.10–5.56), and suicidal intention (OR, 2.17; 95% CI, 1.15–4.17) were more likely to have IBS. Compared with chronic abdominal discomfort, however, depression (OR, 5.55; 95% CI, 1.36–22.71) was the only dependent risk factor for IBS. Conclusion The prevalence of IBS in college freshmen is 4.0%, and to the freshmen, psychosocial factors such as experience of abuse, depression, and suicidal intention were associated with high risk of developing IBS.

        EphrinA1/EphA2 Promotes Epithelial Hyperpermeability Involving in Lipopolysaccharide-induced Intestinal Barrier Dysfunction

        Background/Aims Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) is the key factor inducing mucosal and systemic inflammation in various intestinal and parenteral diseases, which could initially disrupt the epithelial barrier function. EphrinA1/ephA2 is speculated to increase the epithelial permeability for its “repulsive interaction” between adjacent cells. This study aim to investigate the role of ephrinA1/ephA2 in LPS-induced epithelial hyperpermeability. Methods In vivo model challenged with oral LPS in C57BL/6 mice and in vitro model exposed to LPS in Caco2 monolayer were established. The barrier function was assessed including expression of tight junction proteins (occludin and claudin-1), transepithelial electrical resistance, and permeability to macromolecules (fluorescein isothiocyanate-labeled fluorescent dextran 4 kDa [FD4]). Moreover, the expression and phosphorylation of ephrinA1/ephA2 were quantified, and its roles in the process of epithelial barrier disruption were confirmed via stimulating ephA2 with ephrinA1-Fc chimera (ephrinA1-Fc) and inactivating ephA2 with ephA2-Fc chimera (ephA2-Fc), or ephA2 monoclonal antibody (ephA2-mab), as well as inhibiting extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (ERK1/2) with PD98059. Results LPS induced significant barrier dysfunction with dismissed occludin and claudin-1 expression, reduced transepithelial electrical resistance and increased FD4 permeability, accompanied by upregulated ephrinA1/ephA2 pathway and phosphorylation of ephA2 receptor. Furthermore, ephA2-Fc, and ephA2-mab ameliorated LPS-induced epithelial hyperpermeability, which was also inhibited by PD98059. Additionally, ephrinA1-Fc led to apparent epithelial leakage in Caco2 monolayer by promoting the phosphorylation of ERK1/2, which could be obviously blocked by ephA2-mab and PD98059. Conclusion EphrinA1/ephA2 promotes epithelial hyperpermeability with an ERK1/2-dependent pathway, which involves in LPS-induced intestinal barrier dysfunction.         Down-regulation of microRNA-155 suppressed Candida albicans induced acute lung injury by activating SOCS1 and inhibiting inflammation response

        Acute lung injury caused by Candida albicans could result in high mortality and morbidity. MicroRNA-155 (miR-155) and suppressor of cytokine signaling 1 (SOCS1) have been believed to play a key in the regulation of inflammatory response. Whether miR-155/SOCS1 axis could regulate the acute lung injury caused by C. albicans has not been reported. The acute lung injury animal model was established with acute infection of C. albicans. miR-155 inhibitor, miR-155 mimic, and sh-SOCS1 were constructed. The binding site between miR- 155 and SOCS1 was identified with dual luciferase reporter assay. Knockdown of miR-155 markedly inhibited the germ tube formation of C. albicans. Knockdown of miR-155 significantly up-regulated the expression of SOCS1, and the binding site between miR-155 and SOCS1 was identified. Knockdown of miR-155 improved the acute lung injury, suppressed inflammatory factors and fungus loading through SOCS1. Knockdown of SOCS1 greatly reversed the influence of miR- 155 inhibitor on the cell apoptosis in vitro. The improvement of acute lung injury caused by C. albicans, suppression of inflammatory response and C. albicans infection, and inhibitor of cell apoptosis were achieved by knocking down miR-155 through SOCS1. This research might provide a new thought for the prevention and treatment of acute lung injury caused by C. albicans through targeting miR-155/SOCS1 axis.

        Risk of Dementia in Long-Term Benzodiazepine Users: Evidence from a Meta-Analysis of Observational Studies

        Background and Purpose There is conflicting evidence in the literature on the association between benzodiazepines (BDZs) and the risk of dementia. This meta-analysis aimed to determine the relationship between the long-term usage of BDZs and the risk of dementia. Methods The PubMed and Embase databases were systematically searched for relevant publications up to September 2017. The literature search focused on observational studies that analyzed the relationship between the long-term use of BDZs and the risk of dementia. Pooled rate ratios (RRs) with 95% confidence interval (CI) were assessed using a random-effects model. The robustness of the results was checked by performing subgroup and sensitivity analyses. Results Ten studies were included: six case–control and four cohort studies. The pooled RR for developing dementia was 1.51 (95% CI=1.17–1.95, p=0.002) in patients taking BDZ. The risk of dementia was higher in patients taking BDZs with a longer half-life (RR=1.16, 95% CI= 0.95–1.41, p=0.150) and for a longer time (RR=1.21, 95% CI=1.04–1.40, p=0.016). Conclusions This meta-analysis that pooled ten studies has shown that BDZ significantly increases the risk of dementia in the elderly population. The risk is higher in patients taking BDZ with a longer half-life (>20 hours) and for a longer duration (>3 years).
