The development of internet environment in the society caused the travel industry to proceed into the internet business competitively. However, a little research has been conducted on the netizens' behavior in the internet travel businesses. This study attempted to address the behavioral aspects related to the internet use for salaried men visiting internet travel agencies(ITA). Research findings are as follows: 1)Netizens seemed not to invest much time in searching travel-related sites. Major purposes of their visiting ITA were acquiring travel information, hotel/condominium reservation, package product reservation, etc. 2) They thought the provision of travel information, protection of private information, and internet connecting speed important in purchasing travel product through internet. 3) They revealed high intention to visit ITA, but low to purchase goods. However, netizens who had experience of purchasing goods show higher intention to visit or purchase than those who did not visit ITA even one time.

The mold which could grow at alkaline pH and thermophilic condition and produced an extracellular proteolytic enzyme was identified as Trichoderma sp.. Trichoderma sp. CNU 301 exhibited the maximum production of proteolytic enzyme at 50℃ in the medium composed of arabinose 1.5%, peptone 1.5% and FeSO₄0.2% (pH 9.0). The partial purified protease by precipitation with ammonium sulfate was most stable at pH 10 and at 60℃. The Trichoderma sp. CNU 301 produced an alkaline and thermostable protease.
Role of corticosterone in ethyl carbamate-induced immunosuppression in female BALB/c mice

We have recently demonstrated that the antibody response to the T-cell-dependent antigen, sheep red blood cells(SRBCs), was suppressed by ethyl carbamate in female BALB/c mice. At the same doses, ethyl carbamate decreased in the numbers of splenic macrophages. B cells, total T cells, CD4^(+) T cells and CD8^(+) T cells. In addition, the serum level of corticosterone was increased dose-dependently. To investigate the possible role of corticosterone in ethylcarbamate-induced immunosuppression, the antibody response to SRBCs and the subpopulation changes of splenocytes and thymocytes were determined in naive, sham-operated and adrenalectomized (ADX) female BALB/c mice. When the mice were treated intraperitoneally with 400 mg/kg ethyl carbamate, the antibody response was significantly suppressed by ethyl carbamated in naive and sham-operated mice in accompanying the decrease in spleen and thymus weights and/or the increase in the level of serum corticosterone. Meanwhile, the antibody response was not suppressed by ethyl carbamate in the ADX mice. The splenic numbers of total cells, macrophages B and T cells, and CD4^(+) cells were decreased by ethyl carbamate in naive and sham-operated mice. Meanwhile, each cell number was comparable with control in the ADX mice. The flow cytometric analyses on thymocytes did not show obvious differences as seen in the spleen. Finally, when the ADX mice were treated intraperitoneally with 25 mg/kg corticosterone, the antibody response was significantly suppressed. Taken together, our present results suggested that corticosterone might be, at least partially, responsible for ethy; carbamate-induced immunosuppression in female BALB/c mice. ⓒ 2001 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd. N/A HM10411 is a recombinant granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (rG-CSF) that has been developing as a drug for neutropenia. In this study, antigenic potential of HM 10411 was examined by active systemic anaphylaxis (ASA) in guinea pigs and passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA) in guinea pig-guinea pig system. HM10411 was subcutaneously administered at 0, 5, and 50 ㎎/㎏ and also as a suspension with adjuvant (50 ㎎/㎏+FCA). Ovalbumin (OVA) as a suspension with adjuvant was used to induce positive control responses. In the ASA test, no symptoms except urination and evacuation that were considered as physiological phenomena were observed at 0 and 5 ㎎/㎏. Two of 5 animals at 50 ㎎/㎏ showed sneezing, dyspnea, or cyanosis. All animals in the adjuvant mixture group showed severe symptoms of anaphylatic shock and 3 of them died. In the PCA test, no antibody against HM10411 was detected in the sera from the animals sensitized with 0 or 5 ㎎/㎏. Only 1 serum sample from the animals immunized with 50 ㎎/㎏ showed positive reaction against HM10411, while all 5 sera collected from the HM10411 and FCA mixture group contained the HM10411 -specific antibodies. These results suggest HM10411 is considered to have antigenicity in guinea pig.

유비퀴토스 환경에서 기존의 일반 콘텐츠는 다양한 사용자의 단말기 특성과 선호도, 네트워크 특성 등을 고려하여 원본 콘텐츠를 콘텐츠 리퍼포징(Contents Repurporsing)하여 사용자에게 적응적으로 제공될 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 ICDN은 기존의 CDN 기술과 OPES 구조 및 ICAP 표준 인터페이스를 이용하여 콘텐츠 리퍼포징 서비스를 지원하기 위한 네트워크 프레임워크를 제공한다. ICDN은 콘텐츠 서버가 사용자에게 콘텐츠 리퍼포징 서비스를 제공하기 보다는 사용자와 인접해 있는 네트워크 구성요소가 콘텐츠 리퍼포징 서비스를 제공하기 때문에 보다 효율적인 네트워크 서비스 지원이 가능하다.

Ad hoc 네트워크는 유선기반구조 없이 지리적으로 분산된 노드들이 동적으로 연결되어 자치적인 네트워크를 구성한다. 라우팅 프로토콜은 무선자원을 효율적으로 사용하기 위해서 최소의 오버헤드를 갖도록 수행되어야 한다. 위치기반 라우팅 프로토콜은 위치정보를 이용하여 노드들간의 경로를 설정하고 유지할 필요 없이 직접 데이터 패킷을 전송하도록 지원하는 라우팅 프로토콜이다. 본 논문에서는 위치기반 라우팅 프로토콜인 GPF(Greedy Packet Forwarding)기법을 이용하여 패킷을 전송하는 도중 패킷을 전송할 수 없는 영역에 도착했을 때, 지역적인 flooding을 이용하여 이를 복구하는 방법론을 제시한다. 이 복구방법에서 전반적인 패킷전송은 GPF기법을 적용하며, GPF기법을 적용할 수 없는 영역에서만 지역적으로 flooding 알고리즘을 적용한다. 따라서 제어메시지를 지역에 국한시켜 사용함으로써 제한된 무선자원을 효율적으로 사용할 수 있다. 또한 노드들의 수가 증가하는 네트워크 환경에서 보다나은 확장성을 기대할 수 있다.
