This study was carried out to develop the index and the scales for the evaluation of the group occupational health services(GOHS). The possible variables of each step, firstly, based on an evaluation model composed of four steps, input, throughout, output and outcome, were selected through several meetings of professional committee. And five types of questionnaire(for doctor, nurse, industrial hygienist, employer, and employee) were developed based on the selected variables. A pilot survey for four GOHS institutions and 12 enterprises was conducted using the questionnaires and correlation analysis for extracting variables was done. The results were as follows: 1.The evaluation scale was composed of three areas(evaluation on workers' health and work environment, evaluation by institution and employer, and evaluation by employee)which were devided into ten subscales. 2.Among firstly selected ninety-six variables, forty-three variables (11 for input, 14 for throughout, and 18 for output indices) were extracted by correlation analysis. 3.Based on the extracted variables, the questionnaires were simplified as five items for doctor, thirty-six items for nurse, nine items for industrial hygienist, and twenty-six items for employer and employee. 4.The total score of evaluation model was defined on the basis of four-hundred points as sum of four indices (input, throughout, output and outcome) given one-hundred points each.
Oxidation Behaviors of Si/Al Pack Cementation Coated Mo–3Si–1B Alloys at Various Temperatures

In this study, we tried to improve the oxidation resistance of Mo–3Si–1B (wt%) alloy at intermediate (800 °C) and high temperature(1300 °C) after applying Si/Al pack cementation coatings. In addition, we examined structural changes and phasechange in the intermediate and high temperature oxidizing atmospheres to observe oxidation behaviors. The diffusion packcoatings were carried out with an NH4Factivator and both Si and Al powder mixtures. Mo–Si–B alloys were subjected todiffusion coatings of Si/Al powders at various temperatures in various time conditions at a temperature of 1100 °C. Whenthe pack coatings were carried out for 48 h, Mo(Si, Al)2 and Mo3Al8layers together with a T2 (Mo5SiB2) layer were successfullysynthesized on the substrate. After oxidation tests, an Al2O3protective oxide layer was formed by the diffusionof Al in an ambient atmosphere. The Si/Al pack cementation coatings provided excellent oxidation resistance through theformation of an Al2O3oxide layer. The enhanced oxidation behaviors are discussed in terms of microstructural evolution athigh temperatures.

The controller of an automotive braking system requires complex parameter calibration, and current parameter calibration relies on expensive real vehicle testing or simulation methods. Simulation takes less time, but the parameters of the braking system are very large and the search range is also very wide, which takes a lot of time to optimize. Through the AMDEAS method proposed in this study, the important control parameters can be quickly identified through the optimization system and the user can tune the major parameters. In addition to finding optimal solution, AMDEAS can also classify parameters by their importance.
단오동시출현분석을 통한 한국의 국가 R&D 연구동향에 관한 탐색적 연구

This paper identifies technology trends of national research and development (national R&D) by exploiting Korean national R&D patents, ranging from 2007 to 2010. In this paper, co-word analysis (CWA), which is a method to identify the relationship among technology terms by using their co-occurrences, is incorporated into network analysis to visualize the relationships among technology keywords of national R&D patents and calculate network indexes concerning inter-relationship diversity and strength of technology keywords. As a result, this research found that inter-relationship among technology keywords in national R&D are getting increasingly strengthening in an overall sense, in addition, the keyword inter-relationship diversity-strength map proposed in this paper revealed some significant technological keywords of national R&D : core technology keywords including “sensor”, “film” and “film” and emerging keywords including “biosensor” and “thermoelectric”. Because the proposed approach helps identify interdisciplinary trends of technology keywords from a massive volume of national R&D patents in a visual and quantitative way, we expect that the approach can be incorporated as a preliminary into the R&D planning process to assist R&D policy makers to understand technology convergence of national R&D and develop relevant R&D policies.
