Customer Satisfaction in Hotel Services: A Case Study of Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam
LE, Quang Hieu,NGUYEN, Thanh Xuan Thi,LE, Thanh Thuy Thi Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.10
The study examines the influence of factors on customer satisfaction in hotel services in Thanh Hoa province of Vietnam. In terms of the tangible facilities of hotels, customers appreciate the availability and the full range of equipment and additional services, as the 3-to-5-star hotels in Thanh Hoa province are almost new, built in the last five years - 7 of 13 hotels were built in 2015. In the process of measuring the effect of factors on satisfaction in hotel services there, the researchers conducted exploratory factor analysis, reliability test, correlation and regression to confirm the relationships of factors. Based on a survey of 380 respondents, the test results showed that the proposed factors have positive impacts on consumer satisfaction; they are: perceived quality (including intangible and tangible elements), brand image, perceived value, and customer relationship management. In particular, intangible elements have the strongest influence on customer satisfaction, followed by tangible elements, brand image, perceived value, and finally, customer relationship management. In addition, the study found that foreigners and higher education customers tend to be more satisfied by the hotels than other groups, which helps to suggest important and appropriate solutions for hotel managers in Thanh Hoa province.
Spatial Interpolation of Meteorologic Variables in Vietnam using the Kriging Method
( Xuan Thanh Nguyen ),( Ba Tung Nguyen ),( Khac Phong Do ),( Quang Hung Bui ),( Thi Nhat Thanh Nguyen ),( Van Quynh Vuong ),( Thanh Ha Le ) 한국정보처리학회 2015 Journal of information processing systems Vol.11 No.1
This paper presents the applications of Kriging spatial interpolation methods for meteorologic variables, including temperature and relative humidity, in regions of Vietnam. Three types of interpolation methods are used, which are as follows: Ordinary Kriging, Universal Kriging, and Universal Kriging plus Digital Elevation model correction. The input meteorologic data was collected from 98 ground weather stations throughout Vietnam and the outputs were interpolated temperature and relative humidity gridded fields, along with their error maps. The experimental results showed that Universal Kriging plus the digital elevation model correction method outperformed the two other methods when applied to temperature. The interpolation effectiveness of Ordinary Kriging and Universal Kriging were almost the same when applied to both temperature and relative humidity.
A Spatial-Temporal Three-Dimensional Human Pose Reconstruction Framework
( Xuan Thanh Nguyen ),( Thi Duyen Ngo ),( Thanh Ha Le ) 한국정보처리학회 2019 Journal of information processing systems Vol.15 No.2
Three-dimensional (3D) human pose reconstruction from single-view image is a difficult and challenging topic. Existing approaches mostly process frame-by-frame independently while inter-frames are highly correlated in a sequence. In contrast, we introduce a novel spatial-temporal 3D human pose reconstruction framework that leverages both intra and inter-frame relationships in consecutive 2D pose sequences. Orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm, pre-trained pose-angle limits and temporal models have been implemented. Several quantitative comparisons between our proposed framework and recent works have been studied on CMU motion capture dataset and Vietnamese traditional dance sequences. Our framework outperforms others by 10% lower of Euclidean reconstruction error and more robust against Gaussian noise. Additionally, it is also important to mention that our reconstructed 3D pose sequences are more natural and smoother than others.

Vietnam embarked on the path of literary modernization in the late 19th century. It has been almost one and a half centuries since, yet comprehensive research in this area is still lacking. Comprehensive research is essential for the following reasons: (1) The identification of literary modernization will provide us an accurate, thorough and profound understanding of the modern history of Vietnamese literature in particular and the progress of Vietnamese society in general; (2) It is crucial to gather and systematize literary resources, which are getting lost and destroyed day by day in Vietnam, to restore and conserve them. The essay presents the featured literary perspectives and events of Vietnamese literature between 1865 and 1912 in comparison with Vietnamese classical literature, and analyses and elucidates them in the context of the following factors: the colonization, the clashing between Western and Eastern cultures, the regional characteristics of Vietnamese society and culture. The paper consists of the following sections: Introduction, The Earliest Moves, The Emergence of Different Trends, Traits of modernization, Conclusion.

Psychoanalysis emerged at the end of the 19th century and progressed drastically over the 20th century, unveiling a substantial portal for exploring humanity. It has contributed to the academic life as a theory and to the literary life as a critical school, and has left its numerous marks upon the field of creative writing. Psychoanalysis was present in Vietnam during the first phase of literary modernization (1865 – 1945) and in actuality blossomed during the second phase in South Vietnam (1954 – 1975). As part of a research project entitled “The Import of Western Literary Theories Into South Vietnam in the Period of 1954 – 1975”, the present paper focuses on describing and exploring the presence of psychoanalysis in the literary life. The descriptive part (1) gives a brief outline of psychoanalysis including its origin, characteristics, key authors, significant works, primary content and tendencies, which serve as a comparative basis for identifying the introduction and integration of psychoanalysis into Vietnam; and (2) presents relevant works of translation, research, criticism and creative writing. The exploratory part analyzes and explains (1) the choice of psychoanalysis as the research topic, (2) the various tendencies of reception toward psychoanalysis (proclamation and selective criticism), and (3) the results brought about by the reception of psychoanalysis. Methodologically speaking, the descriptive section (1) requires the author to process reference documents in a generalized manner, to present simplified and familiar information; and the exploratory sections (1), (2) and (3) are elaborated from sociological perspectives. The writing structure is as followed: (1) Introduction, (2) An outline of psychoanalysis; (3) The translation of psychoanalytic works in South Vietnam in the period of 1954 - 1975; (4) Psychoanalytic research in South Vietnam in the period of 1954 – 1975; (5) Psychocriticism in South Vietnam in the period of 1954 – 1975; (6) Creative works influenced by psychoanalysis in the period of 1954 – 1975; (7) Specific characteristics of the reception of psychoanalysis in South Vietnam in the period of 1954 – 1975; (8) Conclusion; and (9) References.
