The widespread application of triazole fungicides (TFs) in agricultural practices can result in the considerable accumulation of active compound residues in the soil and a subsequent negative impact on the soil microbiota and crop health. In this study, we isolated three TF-degrading bacterial strains from contaminated agricultural soils and identified them as Klebsiella sp., Pseudomonas sp., and Citrobacter sp. based on analysis of morphological characteristics and 16S rRNA gene sequences. The strains used three common TFs, namely hexaconazole, difenoconazole, and propiconazole, as their only sources of carbon and energy for growth in a liquid mineral salt medium, with high concentrations (~ 500 mg/l) of each TF. In addition to the ability to degrade fungicides, the isolates also exhibited plant growth-promoting characteristics, such as nitrogen fixation, indole acetic acid production, phosphate dissolution, and cellulose degradation. The synergistic combination of three bacterial isolates significantly improved plant growth and development with an increased survival rate (57%), and achieved TF degradation ranging from 85.83 to 96.59% at a concentration of approximately 50 mg/kg of each TF within 45 days in the soil-plant system. Based on these findings, the three strains and their microbial consortium show promise for application in biofertilizers, to improve soil health and facilitate optimal plant growth.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The effect of substituents at C2 and N3 positions of imidazolium functional group on various properties of the poly(arylene ether) ketone based anion electrolyte membranes was studied. The synthesized membranes were applied for alkaline water electrolysis using zero gap designed cell in order to evaluate their cell performances. All of the membranes exhibited better ionic conductivity and electrochemical performance than the commercial Fumasep FAA-3 membrane. The C2 methyl and N3 butyl substituted imidazolium-based membrane (PAEK-APMBI) specifically showed quite high ionic conductivity of 0.0154 S cm<SUP>−1</SUP> and the voltage of 2.53 V at the current density of 2 A cm<SUP>−2</SUP> (in 10 wt% KOH solution) at 60 °C, while those of Fumasep FAA-3 membrane were 0.013 S cm<SUP>−1</SUP> and 2.63 V, respectively. Especially, the PAEK-APMBI membrane exhibited the excellent alkaline stability with the 96% IEC retention after long-term treatment in alkaline environment, while the Fumasep FAA-3 membrane illustrated a significant reduction in IEC to 38%. Four crossbred Sindhi heifers with an average body weight (BW) of 135 kg and a mean age of 17 months were used to investigate the effect of feeding different combinations of rice straw and ensiled water hyacinth (EWH) supplemented with a source of protein in the form of cottonseed cake (CSC) on intake and digestibility. Four treatments consisting of graded levels of EWH were arranged in a $4{\times}4$ Latin square. The levels of EWH were set at: 0 (EWH0), 15 (EWH15), 30 (EWH30), and 45% (EWH45) of an expected total dietary dry matter (DM) intake of 30 g total DM per kg BW per day. Rice straw was offered ad libitum, while CSC was given at a fixed level of 5 g DM/kg body weight (BW). Voluntary intake and digestibility were measured consecutively in the 4 experimental periods which each lasted 28 days. The crude protein (CP) content of EWH, rice straw and CSC were 174, 53 and 370 g/kg DM, respectively. Rice straw had the highest neutral detergent fibre (NDFom) content (666 g/kg DM), followed by EWH (503 g/kg DM) and the lowest content was 418 g/kg DM in the CSC. The actual EWH contents in the consumed diets were 0, 17, 32 and 52% for EWH0, EWH15, EWH30 and EWH45, respectively. Rice straw intake decreased with level of EWH offered from 3049 for EWH0 to 1014 g/day for EWH45. Crude protein intake was 16, 25 and 33% higher (p<0.001) in EWH15, EWH30 and EWH45 treatments, respectively, as compared to EWH0. Digestibility of organic matter (OM), CP, NDFom and acid detergent fibre (ADFom) increased with increasing level of EWH offered. The highest OM digestibility (72.2%) was found for treatment EWH45 and the lowest (47.4%) for treatment EWH0. In spite of similar dietary CP contents, CP digestibility increased by 21 (EWH15), 31 (EWH30) and 40% (EWH45) with increasing level of EWH in comparison with treatment EWH0. It is concluded that increasing level of EWH in cattle diets considerably improved CP intake and digestibility of nutrients.

The development of deep learning systems in artificial intelligence (AI) has enabled advances in endoscopy, and AI-aided colonoscopy has recently been ushered into clinical practice as a clinical decision-support tool. This has enabled real-time AI-aided detection of polyps with a higher sensitivity than the average endoscopist, and evidence to support its use has been promising thus far. This review article provides a summary of currently published data relating to AI-aided colonoscopy, discusses current clinical applications, and introduces ongoing research directions. We also explore endoscopists’ perceptions and attitudes toward the use of this technology, and discuss factors influencing its uptake in clinical practice.
Examining Yonggi Cho’s Success as a Preacher from the New Paradigm of Spirituality & Religion

Pastor Cho’s sermons and his delivery style may not impress students of homiletics but his effectiveness as a preacher is undoubted. Even though his theology has been severely criticized, countless people continue to be blessed by his sermons delivered through various media. Pastor Cho’s sermons are effective because of its engaged, contextual, holisticand integrative pneumatic Spirituality. An attempt at a philosophicalcritique (rather than a technical critique) of Pastor Cho’s sermons under the spirituality/religion paradigm suggests that the time has come for Christian theology and missiology to have a new paradigm with a new language to describe and distinguish itself, as well as to interface with the world today. The safe path of interfacing with the world through the “nonspiritual” categories of the worldview/culture paradigm is restrictive. In recent times, especially in the West, the idea of spirituality has been eroding the influence of religion. Taking on the larger spirituality/religionparadigm will offer the Church a new set of language to interface with the world. In fact, it will even open doors for interreligious dialogues. This is perhaps the reason why Sunbogeum Spirituality has been able to replace traditional Korean shamanistic spirituality to meet the needs of the Korean people.
Phylogenetic Status of an Undiscovered Zygomycete Species, Syncephalastrum monosporum, in Korea

During a survey of undiscovered taxa in Korea, two zygomycete fungal isolates, EML-BT5-1 and EML-BT5-2, were isolated from the seed of a pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo) fruit in Korea. Based on their morphological characteristics and a sequence analysis of four genes, ITS1-5.8S-ITS2, 18S, 28S rDNA, and EF-1α, the isolates were confirmed to be Syncephalastrum monosporum in the family Syncephalastraceae. To our knowledge, the zygomycete fungal species S. monosporum has not been previously described in Korea.
