      • 분산 환경에서 Agent를 이용한 LCL 화물 정보 시스템

        LCL은 컨테이너에 화물을 적재할 때 한 화주가 컨테이너의 공간을 전부 사용하는 FCL과 달리 여러 명의 화주가 각자의 화물을 한 컨테이너에 적 재하는 방식을 말한다. 기존의 LCL 업무에서는 화주가 운송할 화물이 하나의 컨테이너 전체를 사용하려하지 않을 때 LCL Cargo를 선박회사에 신청하고 선박회사는 이러한 업무를 대행해 주는 Forward에게 의뢰하게되고 Forward는 컨테이너의 남는 CBM(cubic met er )을 채울 화물의 화주들을 모집하는 형태와 화주가 화물을 적재하고 남은 CBM이 있으면 선박회사가 직접 Forward에 의뢰하여 화주들을 모집하는 형태가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이들을 웹 상에서 서비스하는 LCL 화물 정보시스템을 제안한다. 이 시스템은 화주가 LCL 화물 선적을 신청하게되면 선주가 선적 할 컨테이너에 대한 모든 정보와 적재된 화물의 정보 등을 실시간으로 제공하여 이에 다른 화주들이 자신의 LCL 선적할 화물에 대한 정보를 제공하게 되고 선주는 이런 정보들을 바탕으로 컨테이너에 LCL 선적할 화주를 결정하는 방식과 화주가 LCL 화물 선적 신청을 위해 화물에 대한 정보를 미리 제공한 정보를 바탕으로 하여 화주를 결정하는 방식 등이 제공된다. 이러한 방식들에 의해 화주를 선정하기 위해서는 제공되는 정보들을 바탕으로 한 적절한 정책이 필요하다. 이 정책은 시스템내의 Agent들에 의해서 이루어지며 이 Agent들은 정책을 바탕으로 화주를 결정하는 것뿐만 아니라, 인터페이스를 통하여 제공되는 정보를 모으는 역할, 그리고 데이터베이스로부터 정보를 가져오고, 새로운 정보를 관리하는 역할 등을 수행하도록 한다. 이러한 일들을 전담하는 Agent를 각각 두어 서로간의 통신을 통한 협력 구조를 이루도록 한다. 그리고 데이터베이스의 접근에 있어서도 CORBA를 이용하여 이 기종의 시스템들에 분산된 데이터베이스에 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 하여 보다 많은 정보를 바탕으로 시스템을 운영할 수 있다.

        Now, internet network users continuously have been increased and technology has been developed, so many enterprises have supported service on internet shopping mall and auction, that kinds of a goods are various. For information of the goods on internet shopping mall and auction, they can support service with a different interface. But if they adapt new kinds of goods, they have to make interface for each service. This research designs framework of adaptable at EC using Java Beans in the distributed environment. Java Beans is conception that is defined a package of API at Java. It is reused and combinable with other beans at the local or distributed environment. To develop framework using Beans allow that we can make different types of EC systems by simply changing the variant components of interface. It is to raise quality of reusable on interface.

        Tumor Marker Kinetics as Prognosticators in Patients with Unresectable Gallbladder Adenocarcinoma Undergoing Palliative Chemotherapy

        Background/Aims: To determine the prognostic value of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and carbohydrate antigen (CA) 19-9 in gallbladder cancer (GBC) during palliative chemotherapy. Methods: One hundred and twenty-three patients with pathologically confirmed unresectable GBC were included. Differences in serum CEA and CA 19-9 levels before and after chemotherapy were measured. Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis, Kaplan-Meier analyses of CEA, CA 19-9, and combined changes were performed to assess the optimal cutoff values and survival rates. Results: Patients with decreased tumor markers had significantly better progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) than patients with increased tumor markers. The pre- and postchemotherapy CA 19-9 ratio had the highest area-under-the-curve values for predicting 3-month PFS and 1-year OS. In the multivariate analysis, increases in serum CA 19-9 during palliative chemotherapy in patients with unresectable GBC was an independent prognosticator of poor PFS and OS, with hazard ratios of 2.20 (p=0.001) and 1.67 (p=0.020), respectively. Patients with increases >10-fold were considered to have progressive disease, whereas individuals with increases >3-fold were likely to benefit from early imaging follow-up. Conclusions: CA 19-9 kinetics was a reliable prognosticator of PFS and OS in patients with unresectable GBC who underwent palliative chemotherapy. (Gut Liver 2018;12:102-110)

        Case report : A Case of Toxic Megacolon Caused by Clostridium difficile Infection and Treated with Fecal Microbiota Transplantation

        Toxic megacolon is a rare clinical complication of fulminant Clostridium difficile infection. The mortality rate of fulminant C. difficile infection is reported to be as high as 50%. Fecal microbiota transplantation is a highly effective treatment in patients with recurrent or refractory C. difficile infection. However, there are few published articles on the use of such transplantation for fulminant C. difficile infection. Here, we report on a patient with toxic megacolon complicated by C. difficile infection who was treated successfully with fecal microbiota transplantation. (Gut Liver, 2015;9:247-250)

        Changing pattern and safety of pretransplant malignancy in kidney transplant recipients

        Background: Cancer rates are increasing not only in the general population but also in patients with end-stage renal disease. We investigated the changing pattern of pretransplant malignancy in kidney transplant recipients over 5 decades. Methods: We reviewed 3,748 kidney transplant recipients between 1969 and 2016. We divided patients into three groups (1969-1998, 1999-2006, 2007-2016) based on the era of the cancer screening system used throughout the nation. We analyzed the incidence and pattern of pretransplant malignancy among the three groups. We also evaluated recurrent and de novo malignancy in these patients compared to patients without pretransplant malignancy. Results: A total of 72 patients exhibited pretransplant malignancy (1.9%). There were no cases of pretransplant cancer until 1998, but the rate of pretransplant malignancy gradually increased to 1.1% during 1999-2006 and further increased to 4.3% thereafter. The most frequent types of pretransplant malignancy changed from the bladder, liver, and stomach cancers to thyroid cancer and renal cell carcinoma. There were no de novo cases, but there were three cases of recurrent cancer in patients with pretransplant malignancy; the recurrence rate among kidney transplant recipients with pretransplant malignancy was not significantly different from the incidence rate of de novo malignancy among kidney transplant recipients without pretransplant malignancy (4.2% vs. 6.9%, P = 0.48). Conclusion: The incidence of pretransplant malignancy in kidney transplantation candidates is gradually increasing, and recent increases were accompanied by changes in cancer types. Pretransplant malignancy may not be a hindrance to kidney transplantation because of the low incidence of posttransplant recurrence and de novo malignancy.

        Optimal Duration of Dual Antiplatelet Therapy after Stent-Assisted Coil Embolization of Unruptured Intracranial Aneurysms : A Prospective Randomized Multicenter Trial

        Objective : Stent-assisted coil embolization (SAC) has been increasingly used to treat various types of intracranial aneurysms. Delayed thromboembolic complications are major concerns regarding this procedure, so dual antiplatelet therapy with aspirin and clopidogrel is needed. However, clinicians vary the duration of dual antiplatelet therapy after SAC, and no randomized study has been performed. This study aims to compare the safety and efficacy of long-term (12 months) dual antiplatelet therapy and short-term dual antiplatelet therapy (6 months) after SAC for patients with unruptured intracranial aneurysms (UIAs). Methods : This is a prospective, randomized and multicenter trial to investigate the optimal duration of dual antiplatelet therapy after SAC in patients with UIAs. Subjects will receive dual antiplatelet therapy for 6 months (short-term group) or 12 months (long-term group) after SAC. The primary endpoint is the assessment of thromboembolic complications between 1 and 18 months after SAC. We will enroll 528 subjects (264 subjects in each group) and perform 1 : 1 randomization. This study will involve 14 top-performing, high-volume Korean institutions specializing in coil embolization. Results : The trial will begin enrollment in 2022, and clinical data will be available after enrollment and follow-up. Conclusion : This article describes that the aim of this prospective randomized multicenter trial is to compare the effect of short-term (6 months) and long-term (12 months) dual antiplatelet therapy on UIAs in patients undergoing SAC, and to find the optimal duration.

        Anti‑neuroinflammatory effects of the KIOM ‑patented Polygonum multiflorum maximized root tuber against LPS‑stimulated BV2 Cells

        The main pathological mechanism of neurodegeneration is neuroinflammation. It is known that the persistent neuroinflammatory response is harmful by causing secondary nerve tissue damage. Meanwhile, P. multiflorum is a traditional oriental medicinal herb. It has been used as a hematopoietic agent and is used to treat a variety of diseases and conditions. The aim of the present study was to compare the anti-inflammatory efficacy between the commonly available P. multiflorum (C1) and the KIOM-patented in vitro-propagated P. multiflorum (K1), which had higher content of active ingredients and biomass, using culture and cultivation conditions of LPS-induced neuroinflammation. After stimulation with LPS and treatment with C1 and K1 in mouse microglial BV-2 cells, nitric oxide (NO) production, proinflammatory cytokine secretion, inducible NO synthase (iNOS) expression, MAPK phosphorylation and transcription factor activity were assessed. We examined the antioxidant effect using DPPH and production of nitric oxide (NO). C1 and K1 suppressed the expression of iNOS and COX-2 and the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Furthermore, we determined the levels of inflammatory mediators, such as interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and mitogen-activated protein kinases and IκBα via Western blotting to understand the regulating mechanisms. Additionally, C1 and K1 also inhibited the activation of p38 and nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) in LPS-stimulated BV2 cells. In all experimental results, excellent anti-neuroinflammatory effects were confirmed at a lower dose in K1 than in C1, which is believed to be due to the increased biomass. Therefore, K1 is expected to be more effective than C1 and can be applied more broadly in the development of prevention and treatment of various inflammatorymediated neurodegenerative diseases.

        Association between Interleukin 31 Receptor A Gene Polymorphism and Schizophrenia in Korean Population

        Recently, Sun et al (2008) reported that the IL6R polymorphism is associated with schizophrenia. Therefore, to detect the association between polymorphisms of interleukin 31 receptor A (IL31RA) and schizophrenia, we genotyped 9 SNPs [rs9292101 (intron 1), rs1009639 (exon 2, Pr043Pro), rs2161582 (intron 2), rs68761890 (intron 5), rs16884629 (intron 6), rs11956465 (intron 12), rs12153724 (intron 12), and rs16884641 (intron 14)] using the Golden Gate assay on Illumina BeadStation 500 GX. Two hundred eighteen patients with schizophrenia and 379 normal subjects were recruited. Patients with schizophrenia were diagnosed according to DSM-IV, and control subjects without history of psychiatric disorders were selected. We used SNPStats, Haploview, HapAnalyzer, SNPAnalyzer, and Helixtree programs for the evaluation of genetic data. Of nine polymorphisms, three SNPs (rs9292101, rs1009639, and rs11956465) were associated with schizophrenia. The rs9292101 and rs11956465 showed significant associations with the risk of schizophrenia in the codominant [rs9292101, odds ratio (OR)=0.74, 95% confidence interval (CI)=0.58${\sim}$0.95, p=0.017] and recessive (rs11956465, OR=0.64, 95% CI=0.42${\sim}$0.96, p=0.034) models, respectively. The rs1009639 also was statistically related to schizophrenia in both codominant (OR=0.76, 95% CI=0.60${\sim}$0.97, p=0.025) and dominant (OR=0.66, 95% CI=0.44${\sim}$0.98, p=0.035) models. Two linkage disequilibrium (LD) blocks were made. In the analysis of haplotypes, a haplotype (GCT) in block 1 and a haplotype (CCACAG) in block 2 showed significant associations between schizophrenia and control groups (haplotype GCT, frequency=0.509, chi square=4.199, p=0.040; haplotype CCACAG, frequency=0.289, chi square=5.691, p=0.017). The results suggest that IL31RA may be associated with risk of schizophrenia in Korean population.

      • Review of the Poorly Known Harvestman Subfamily Opilioninae (Arachnida: Opiniones: Phalangiidae) with Himalphalangium spinulatum from Korea

        Himalphalangium spinulatum (Roewer, 1911) collected from Gijang-gun, Busan-city, Korea is redescribed with spination of leg, detailed illustrations including SEM photographs for the first time. Bidentolophus bidens (Simon, 1880) as a junior synonym of Opilio koreanus Charitonov, 1957 from North Korea is additionally reported in the Korean fauna. Also, a key to the species of Korean subfamily Opilioninae is provided.
