오늘날 국민 소득의 증가와 삶의 질 향상으로 인하여 건강한 육체와 정신을 추구하는 라이프 스타일인 웰빙(Well-being)과 헬스케어(Healthcare)가 새로운 문화 코드로 대두되고 있다. 사회 전반적으로 건강에 대한 관심이 매우 높아지고 있어 각종 운동이나 식이 요법 등 다양한 방법으로 건강 유지를 위해 다이어트를 하는 사람들이 늘어나고 있다. 체중, 체지방량, 근육량, 기초대사량 등 전체적으로 여러 가지 수치를 측정 하는 측정기기를 사용하여 쉽게 비만 및 건강 진단을 이용한 다이어트를 하고 있고, 이러한 측정기기를 사용하여 건강을 관리하는 사람들이 늘어남에 따라 체성분분석기 제품들의 시장규모 역시 커지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이론적 고찰을 통하여 체성분분석기에 대하여 조사 하였고, 3번의 실험을 통하여 연구를 진행하였다. 1차 실험에서는 2011년 체성분분석기 시장 판매순위 상위 5개회사 제품 샘플 30개를 선정하였고, 클러스터 분석을 통하여 대표 모델 2개를 선정하였다. 클러스터 분석을 통하여 선정한 가정용 체성분분석기 2개 제품을 체험하고, 연관 규칙 탐사기법 적용 분석을 진행하여 특성과 구성요소를 추출하였다. 2차 실험에서는 1차 실험의 결과를 바탕으로 체성분분석기의 스케치와 모델링 그리고 7점 척도법에 의한 디자인 요소의 평가를 통하여 가장 이상적인 디자인 안을 선정하였다. 3차 실험에서는 2차 실험에서 선정된 디자인 안을 중심으로 회귀분석을 통한 창의성 평가를 진행하여 결론을 도출하였다. 본 연구는 보편화된 기능과 디자인이 대부분인 체성분분 석기 시장에서 경쟁력있는 제품을 개발하기 위하여 디자인 요소평가를 통하여 기존제품과는 차별화된 체성분분석기 디자인을 제안하였고, 창의성 평가를 통하여 체성분분석기를 디자인할 때 고려해야 할 디자인적 요소들에 대하여 연구하였다. 본 연구의 결과가 체성분분석기 신제품의 안정적 시장 진입과 헬스케어 제품 활성화에 기여 하고자 한다. Today, the lifestyle to pursue healthy body and mind called Well-being and Healthcare is rising as a new cultural code due to the increase of national income and improvement in the quality of life. As the concern toward health is getting much higher throughout the society, the people going on a diet to maintain health using various methods such as various types of exercise or diet therapy are increasing. People are easily going on a diet with obesity and health diagnosis using the measuring instruments to measure various figures such as weight, body fat, muscle mass and basal metabolism while the market scale of body fat analysis products is also getting greater as the people managing health using such measuring devices are getting increased. In this study, the investigation was performed on the body composition monitor through a theoretic approach and the study was conducted through three experiments. In the first experiment, 30 body composition monitor machine samples, which belongs to front three companies in 2011 sales list, and then 2 representative models were chosen by cluster analysis. Two home body composition monitor products have been experienced to extract their characteristics and components by performing an analysis that has applied the association rule mining technique. In the second experiment, the most ideal design proposal was selected through the evaluation of design factors by the sketch and modeling of body composition monitor as well as the 7 point scale method based on the result of first experiment. In the third experiment, a creativity evaluation was performed through a regression analysis based on the design proposal selected in the second experiment to draw a conclusion. The purpose of this study is to develop body composition monitor with competitive strength for the market. Here proposed new design of body composition monitor that is differentiates products compared with existing ones through the design elements evaluation; and also this study showed the design elements that should be considered when in the process of body composition monitor design through creative evaluation. For the conclusion part, this new body composition monitor could be placed hope on entering the stable market and contributing to revitalize healthcare product.
New cardiac MRI gating method using event-synchronous adaptive digital filter.

<P>When imaging the heart using MRI, an artefact-free electrocardiograph (ECG) signal is not only important for monitoring the patient's heart activity but also essential for cardiac gating to reduce noise in MR images induced by moving organs. The fundamental problem in conventional ECG is the distortion induced by electromagnetic interference. Here, we propose an adaptive algorithm for the suppression of MR gradient artefacts (MRGAs) in ECG leads of a cardiac MRI gating system. We have modeled MRGAs by assuming a source of strong pulses used for dephasing the MR signal. The modeled MRGAs are rectangular pulse-like signals. We used an event-synchronous adaptive digital filter whose reference signal is synchronous to the gradient peaks of MRI. The event detection processor for the event-synchronous adaptive digital filter was implemented using the phase space method-a sort of topology mapping method-and least-squares acceleration filter. For evaluating the efficiency of the proposed method, the filter was tested using simulation and actual data. The proposed method requires a simple experimental setup that does not require extra hardware connections to obtain the reference signals of adaptive digital filter. The proposed algorithm was more effective than the multichannel approach.</P>
