Among the food constituents, proteins differ in coagulation properties as compared to other constituents in food system. Especially milk protein coagulate through different pathways thus this coagulability can be used for manufacture of various dairy products or as a determinant of dairy product analysis. These milk coagulation methods include organic solvent, isoelectric point, trichloroacetic acid, Ca-sensitive casein, heavy metal ion and rennet coagulation. The coagulation experiment was performed using above parameters at 0℃ and 25℃ to find the dehydration conditions before coagulating for precheese powder making. After different chemical treatments, there was no coagulation at 0℃ rather at 25℃ whatever the mode of coagulation methods was. The appearance of precipitate with coagulation methods was quite different from above mentioned methods of coagulation illustrated by scanning electron microscope. These powders were used for fabrication of camembert cheese by renneting coagulation at 0℃, showing the possibility of cheese materials and of food additives for fabrication of products.

To avoid water spewing out of the screw conveyor, foam is often used to reduce the permeability coefficient of the soil during earth pressure balance (EPB) shield tunneling. Whether foam can effectively reduce the permeability or not strongly depends on soil gradation characteristics. A series of permeability tests were carried out on foam-conditioned soil with changing effective grain size (d10), curvature coefficient (Cc), and uniformity coefficient (Cu), further, three characteristic times were defined to evaluate the permeation safety of the conditioned soil, including critical time (tc), flow rate safety time (ta) and flow quantity safety time (ts). The test results show that with an increase in d10, the initial permeability coefficient of the conditioned soil increased greatly, however, it only changed slightly with increases in Cc and Cu. In addition, permeability coefficient was still much lower than that of the unconditioned soil, even though entered the slow growth period for a long time. It is shown that as the Cc and Cu increased, the ta and ts changed slightly, however, as the d10 increased, the ta and ts decreased significantly. The results indicate that d10 can greatly affect the permeability characteristics of conditioned soil, more specifically, the initial permeability coefficient and the permeation safety. By contrast, Cc and Cu have less effects. In addition, it is not reasonable to consider that the permeability coefficient of the conditioned soil will reach or be close to that of unconditioned soil when most, or all, of foam in the foam-conditioned soil dissipates.

This paper mainly studies the optimization of the patrol route of a fire inspection robot, based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fire source detection. First, the A* algorithm is improved based on two aspects of the heuristic function and of the obstacle boundary setting, while the suboptimal path is obtained in MATLAB. Next, the path planned according to the improved A* algorithm is smoothed and optimized, by means of gradient descent method, Bezier curve and B-spline curve, while the index parameters are optimized by means of MATLAB simulation. In view of the simulation results, the trajectory optimization performance index evaluation system, established by five decision criteria, including running time, path length, ride comfort, no-collision effect and quadratic optimization space, is put forward. The three kinds of optimization methods are analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively, and the results show that, in the total hierarchical ranking, the B-spline curve trajectory optimization scheme has the largest weight and is more important than the other two schemes. Finally, the superiority of B-spline curve is verified experimentally.

Early detection of abnormal expression levels of cancer-related genes is crucial for reducing cancer mortality. Here, we describe a dye-free multiplex bioassay for simultaneous and quantitative analysis of the expression levels of multiple genes from one sample in a single assay, based on Sequence-tagged Multiplex ligationdependent probe Amplification (MLPA) coupled with pyrosequencing (termed as “SMAP”). Each pair of MLPA probes, containing a designed barcode, represents a gene of interest; thus, the use of various dyes to label different genes was avoided. The unique three-base barcode design on the probes, which can be decoded by pyrosequencing, enables individual quantification of the expression levels of six genes. Moreover, a new carryover contamination prevention system based on the use of restriction endonucleases was developed for PCR-based diagnostic screening assays. SMAP analysis revealed significant differences between the expression levels of CRC-related genes in the tumor tissues and normal tissues from a CRC patient. For PCR-based diagnostic screening assays, 0.5 U of the FokI restriction endonuclease was sufficient for the removal 0.01 pmol of PCR contamination. The ability to analyze the expression levels of a greater number of cancer-related genes would improve diagnostic sensitivity and efficacy. SMAP is amenable to the detection of an increased number of genes by lengthening the artificially designed barcodes; thus our method provides a promising means for cancer diagnostics and improving the treatment options available to cancer patients.

Purpose – This research aims to examine the effects of 3D online products presentation by comparing it with general presentation. Research design, data, and methodology – To rigorously investigate the differences of effects between 3D presentation and general presentation, this study examines the differences of the two presentations in vividness, informedness, entertainment, product trust, and purchase intention. This research designed two different forms of online product presentations, 3D and general presentation for an experiment. Results – The research findings indicate that 1) the vividness of online product presentation has a positive impact on the informedness and entertainment. While both vividness and informedness product presentation have a positive impact on product trust, the entertainment of online product presentation has no significant impact. 2) Vividness, informedness, entertainment, product trust, and purchasing intention showed significant differences between 3D and general product presentations. 3) Overall, 3D product presentation showed a stronger impact on purchasing intention than the general product presentation. Conclusions – This research expands the area of business presentation by comparing the differences of 3D and general presentation methods. This study made a great contribution to theory development, and also to guidelines for practice. These insights could be used by organizations in developing realistic environments for business presentations.

Exercise is beneficial to the body in some ways. It is vital for people who have heart problems to perform exercise according to their condition. This paper describes how an Android platform can provide early warnings of fatigue during wushu exercise using Photoplethysmography (PPG) signals. Using the data from a micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) gyroscope to detect heart rate, this study contributes an algorithm to determine a user's fatigue during wushu exercise. It sends vibration messages to the user's smartphone device when the heart rate exceeds the limit or is too fast during exercise. The heart rate monitoring system in the app records heart rate data in real-time while exercising. A simple pulse sensor and Android app can be used to monitor heart rate. This plug-in sensor measures heart rate based on photoplethysmography (PPG) signals during exercise. Pulse sensors can be easily inserted into the fingertip of the user. An embedded microcontroller detects the heart rate by connecting a pulse sensor transmitted via Bluetooth to the smartphone. In order to measure the impact of physical activity on heart rate, Wushu System tests are conducted using various factors, such as age, exercise speed, and duration. During testing, the Android app was found to detect heart rate with an accuracy of 95.3% and to warn the user when their heart rate rises to an abnormal level.
