        <B>Graphic Abstract</B> <P>The cover shows an image of fully rollable transparent nanogenerators synthesized using chemical vapor deposition grown large-scale graphene sheets as transparent electrodes and piezoelectric ZnO nanorod arrays. Sang-Woo Kim, Jae-Young Choi, and co-workers report on p. 2187 the electrical and structural stability of the nanogenerators, with excellent charge scavenging performance under external mechanical loads such as bending and rolling.         3개 대학병원의 주 진단 코딩사례 평가

        Background : Coding of principal diagnosis is essential component for producing reliable health statistics. We performed this study to evaluate the current practice of principal diagnoses determination and coding, and to give some basic data to improve coding of principal diagnosis. Method : Nineteen medical record administrators(MRAs) of 3 university hospitals participated in coding principal Dx. From August 1, 2001 to August 31, 2001. From each hospital, 10 medical records of patients with high frequency disease were selected randomly. Each 10 medical records were grouped into three(A,B,C). Then, these 30 medical records were given to each MRAs for coding. At the same time questionnaire was given to each of them. Questions were to prove how they decide and code the principal diagnosis among many current diagnoses ; how they decide and code the principal diagnosis when day see irrelevant diagnosis recorded as the principal diagnosis in medical record, when only tentative diagnoses were recorded without final diagnosis, and when different diagnoses were recorded in different sheets of same record. Agreement of coding among 3 hospitals were compared and survey results were analysed with SAS 6.12. Results : Agreement of coding was found in medical records 5-6 of each 10 medical records. Causes of disagreement were as follows. Difference of clinician’s opinion from each hospital; mixed use of guideline from KCD-3 and guideline from DRG; difference in 4th digit classification according to the absence of pathology report in the medical record; difference of abbreviations among hospitals. 57.9% of decided principal diagnosis after consulting to KCD-3 guideline. When there were difficulties in determining the principal diagnosis, 42.1% of MRAs decided principal diagnosis after discussion with the physician, 26.3% after discussion with fellow MRAs. Conclusion : There were differences in coding among hospitals. To minimize the difference, we suggest the development of disease-specific guidelines for coding in addition to the current general guideline such as KCD-3. To do this, Coding Clinic which can produce guidelines is needed.

      • CMP 공정의 재현성 확보를 위한 공정제어 범위의 결정

        To achieve the ULSI goals of higher density and greater performance, STI(shallow trench isolation)-CMP(chemical mechanical polishing) process has been attracted. Recently, the direct STI-CMP process without the conventional complex reverse moat etch process has established by using slurry additive with the high selectivity between SiO2 and Si3N4 films for the purpose of process simplification and in-situ EPD(end point detection). However, STI-CMP process has various defects such as nitride residue, torn oxide and demage of silicon active region. Also, it was difficult to assure the suitable process margin in the STI-CMP process. To solve these problems, in this paper, we discussed to determine the control limit of process, which can entirely remove the oxide on nitride film from the most area of high density as reducing the damage of dense moat area and minimizing dishing effect in the large field area. We, also, evaluated the wafer-to-wafer thickness variation and the day-by-day reproducibility of STI-CMP process after repeatable tests.

        공급률 및 탈곡통 길이 변화에 따른 자탈형 콤바인 탈곡 성능

        Threshing loss was increased due to dropping of the threshing efficiency when the 4 row head-feed combine harvested 5 row rice to improve harvesting performance of a combine. Reasonable design criteria were examined to determine the ranges of both of feed rate and the length of threshing drum for the 4 row head-feed combine being used as a 5-row combine. Harvesting performance increased as working width or working speed increased, it resulted in 15% increase when the working width increased from4 row to 5 row. Harvesting operations of the 4 row combine performed normally in the 4 row rice in threshing loss less than 1%, however, threshing loss increased to 2.25% in the 5 row due to poor threshing efficiency. The length of threshing drum was increased from 710 mm to 810 mm as well as the speed of crop feed chain was increased from 0.61 m/s to 0.75 m/s so as to improve the poor threshing efficiency resulted from the enlarged working width from the 4 row to the 5 row, which would decrease threshing loss less than 1%.

      • HSS STI-CMP적용을 위한이중 패드의 최적화

        As the device geometry shrinks to the deep submicron region, chemical mechanical polishing(CMP) planarization become a more essential technique of advanced ULSI process. Also, CMP process was required for the global planarization of inter-metal dielectric(IMD), inter-level dielectric(ILD) layers and interconnections with free-defect. Especially, the complete global planarization of IMD, ILD and interconnections can be achieved only with the CMP process. However, as the IMD and ILD layer gets thinner, several problems were found in the CMP process. It does have various problems such as dishing effect, torn oxide defects and nitride residues in oxide. So, it leads to severe circuit failure, which affects yield. In this paper, we studied the characteristics of polishing pad, which can apply STI-CMP process for global planarization of multilevel interconnection structure. Also, we investigated the effects of different sets of polishing pad, such as soft and hard pad. As an experimental result, hard pad showed center-fast type, and soft pad showed edge-fast type. Totally, the defect level has shown little difference, however, the counts of scratch was defected less than 2 on JR111 pad. Through the above result, we can select optimum polishing pad, so we can expect the improvement of throughput and device yield.

        Optoelectronic characteristics of the superlattice as a function of deposition temperature and annealing conditions have been studied. The nanocrystalline silicon/adsorbed oxygen superlattice formed by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) system. Consequently, the experimental results of superlattice with multilayer Si-O structure showed the stable photoluminescence(PL) and good insulating behavior with high breakdown voltage. This is very useful promise for Si-based optoelectronic and quantum device as well as for the replacement of silicon-on-insulator(SOI) in ultra high speed and lower power CMOS devices in the future, and it can be readily integrated with silicon ULSI processing.

        육경에 대한 외과적 자극이 사슴뿔의 성장에 미치는 영향

        This study carried out to investigate the effect of cutting stimulation on time of cutting, yield and length of antler in Sika deer. There was no significance between surgical stimulation and length of antler, but length was the longest in one side cutting group and the shortest in both side cutting group. Development of point was increased as the number of wounds in the second year (P<0.05). Time of casting was 2 weeks earlier in one side cutting group (P<0.05) than in both sides cutting group. Yields of antler were 148±23g when pedicle was not cut, and 126±61g, 179±63g, 170g, and 48±25g when pedicle was cut by 0.3cm, 0.4cm, 0.5cm and 0.6cm, respectively. The most desirable thickness of pedicle cut was 0.4-0.5mm. Yield of antler was increased as the size of wound in the first year, and 588, 790 and 657g in control, one-cut and both-cut, respectively. Yields of antler in one-cut is significantly high (P<0.05).

        This study was to survey for provide to institutional method about publicity of smoking dangerousness by 210 students of a college in Daegu city. As the result of this study, the gender smoking were significant difference between men(55%) and women(13%). A large majority(77%) in smoking group wanted to education of quit smoking. And starting age of smoking were a middle school(34%), a college(33%), a high school(25%), an elementary school(8%). Smoking amount per a day were less than a half(49%), less than a pack(35%), over than a pack(16%). The reason of continuous smoking were habituation(66%), to slove the stress(17%), to look smart(9%). So it is necessary to early education for quit smoking from elementary school. And a systematic program for college students must be established to solution the smoking at the government authorities, official quarters of school and citizens' groups, etc.

        The sequencing of the amino acids in the β-amyloid and the cloning of the amyloid precursor protein(APP) gene were the breakthrough event in the molecular biologic researches about the Alzheimer’is disease. After then, the mutations in the APP gene, presenilin 1 gene and presenilin 2 *gene associated with the familial Alzheimer’s disease(FAD) were found. Also, the roles of APOLEε 4 as a risk allele and APOLE ε2 as a protective allele in late onset AD, were demonstrated. All of the mutations causing FAD were known to function through a common final pathway which involves the increase on fibrillogenic form af Aβ. The APOLE allele seems to influence the production, distribution and clearance of Aβ. Such expansion in the understanding of AD molecular genetics give hopes to the development of novel therapeutic modalities.
