        방사선 조사를 받은 두경부 병소의 재건을 위한 유리피판술

        Radiation therapy is an effective cancer treatment modality as a primary treatment in early cancer and as an adjuvant treatment in advanced cancer, especially in head and neck lesions, but it also causes irreversible chronic damages to overlying normal tissues that may lead to wound complications. As well, at the microscopic level, radiation injury causes both stasis and occlusion of small vessels. Therefore, surgical reconstruction of previously-irradiated lesions in the head and neck poses a great problem. Fifth-six patients with head and neck lesions underwent 57 microsurgical reconstructions between 1990-1998. Thirteen patients were irradiated before surgery. The previous radiation dose was 30∼75.6 Gy. The free tissue transfer was successful in 52 of the 57 microsurgical reconstructions(91.2%). The success rate was 92.3%(12/13) in previously-irradiated patients and 90.9%(40/44) in nonirradiated patients. Postoperative complications, such as flap loss, fistula, and infection, developed in 4 irradiated patients and 8 nonirradiated patients. Overall complication rate was 30.8%(4/13) in previously-irradiated patients and 18.2%(8/44) in nonirradiated patients. Although the failure rate of previously-irradiated patients was higher than that of nonirradiated patients, there was no statistically significant difference between them. Thus, free tissue transfers in patients with previously-irradiated head and neck lesions are suitable for one-stage reconstruction.

        The six kinds of natural factors(It refers to wind, cold, summer-heat, dampness, dryness and fire.) is constantly moving to maintain the balance of whole climate of one year. Four seasons are the largest mediation of whole climate of one year. The cold and the heat have the relationship of mutual intervention. The dampness and the dryness have it also. In this process they raise various climate appearance. And that various climate appearance influence the whole lives on the earth. This paper is concerned with the classification of them.

      • 순시 공진 전압 합성형 DC-DC 컨버터에 관한 연구

        This paper describes a DC-DC converter connected two unit inverters, a half-bridge high frequency resonant inverters, at the input with parallel. It estimated characteristics such as the average power, the average output voltage etc, for the design of the device with the normalized parameter values. Also, This paper confirms a rightfulness of circuit analysis by comparing a simulation and experimental results of proposal converter. The proposed paper certified that the theoretical waveforms are equal to the experimental waveforms. In the future, it is expected that proposal converter can be applicated for the system of fixed DCvoltage source.

        주사전자현미경을 이용한 무당벌레에 기생하는 무당벌레기생파리(Degeeria separata)의 외부형태적 특징

        External morphological characteristics of male and female of Degeeria separata, which was endoparasited in adult of the Asian ladybird, were studied by using the scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The antenna of Degeeria separata was consisted of three segment and arista. Anstae were about 750㎛ length and 30㎛ in diameter. The surface of antennae was covered with many sensilla. They were long or short, slender or thick, and straight or curved. Each three morphological types of sensilla were observed on the second and third segment of antennae. The mouthpart was sponging type. It was consisted with clypeus, labellum, labium, labrum, and maxillary palp. The labellum is 400㎛ width and double folded vertically. The leg consist of tarsus, tarsus claw, pulvilli, and empodium.

        An Ac-type Plasma Display Panel (PDP) operating with Ne-Ar(0.1%) Penning mixture gas is fabicated. The characterics of the panel with electrodes covered with thin and thick dielectric layers are studied. The brightness of the Neon-orange light emitted by the panel measured as function of applied voltage and frequency. As an application, a graphic display system equipped with PDP showing still and moving pictures is made.

      • 好氣性 固定床 生物膜 反應槽의 메디아로 폐칫솔의 利用可能性 檢討에 관한 基礎硏究 : 처리효율을 중심으로

        This study was conducted to evaluate the possibility to apply the waste toothbrush to aerobic fixed biofilm reactor for media. The media used for this research was waste toothbrush (WTB) and Pall-Ring. The feed used for this research was synthetic wastewater which was made at the laboratory. The COD, NH₄^(+)- N and PO₄^(-3)-P removal efficiency variations with the organic loading rate was examined at this research. The conclusions drawn from these experiments are listed below : 1. When the influent COD concentration was respectively 300mg/ℓ, 600mg/ℓ, the COD removal efficiency was decreased with the increase of the organic loading rate and the COD removal efficiency for Pall-Ring was higher than the COD removal efficiency was 0.4~1.9%. 2. When the influent NH₄^(+)-N concentration was respectively 13mg/ℓ (COD 300mg/ℓ), 25mg/ℓ (COD 600mg/ℓ ), the NH₄^(+)-N removal efficiency for Pall-Ring was slightly higher than the NH₄^(+)-N removal efficiency for Wastetooth brush. The difference of NH₄^(+)-N removal efficiency was about 0.5~1.5%. 3. When the influent PO₄^(-3)-P concentration was respectively 7mg/ℓ (COD 300mg/ℓ), 14mg/ℓ (COD 600mg/ℓ ), the PO₄^(-3)-P removal efficiency for Pall-Ring was higher than the PO₄^(-3)-P removal efficiency for Wastetooth brush. The difference of PO₄^(-3)-P removal efficiency was about 1.1~2%. 4. COD, NH₄^(+)-N and PO₄^(-3)-P removal efficiencies show very small difference between Pall-Ring and Wastetooth brush as media. So it was showed that wastetooth brush can be used as media very successfully.

      • 荒嶺山(釜山) 山麓 植物의 開花期 調査

        1. The recorded plants in this survey were 72 families, 168 genera, 249 kinds. 2. The number of species of plants flowered monthly were most in May as 119 kinds and least in January as 3 kinds(Yucca tricreana, Camellia japonica, Senecio vulagalis). According to the seasons the number of species of flowered plants were 255 kinds in Spring, 247 kinds in Summer, 144 kinds in Autumn, 34 kinds in Winter. 3. In comparision with the results of another previous studies the flowering period was early two months in herbaceous plants, one month in woody plants. 4. Through four seasons Senecio vulgaris and Sonchus loeraceus were flowering, three seasons 8 kinds(Trifolium repens, etc.), not continuosly for two seasons 8 kinds(Tradescantia reflexa, etc.). 5. In the character of habitat pattern, native species were 136 kinds, ornamental species 76 kinds, cultured species for food 26 kinds, naturalized species 11 kinds. 6. Native species of 41 kinds which are not recorded in the previous studies(Jung, 1991) are added to this paper newly.

      • PWM/PFM 제어형 DC-DC 콘버터에 관한 연구

        As electionic application system such as data processing communication system and control measurement system get larger, high accuracy, high efficiency, small size and light weight for DC power supply are required. This paper processes a type of circuit that can be controlled by PWM and PFM-TRC method using Thyristor as switching element. And some data essential to system design are obtained by evaluating characteristic of the proposed circuit in terms of chopper frequency, energy storage period and load resistor using normalized parameter. The characteristic analysis of the proposed circuit is illustrated by experiment.

      • 간 세포암에서 VEGF, TGF-β1, b-FGF 발현의 의의

        Purpose: Angiogenesis is important for the proliferation and the metastasis of solid tumors. The growth of a solid tumor is widely recognized to depend on the process of neovascularrozation. Without angiogenesis, tumors cease to grow beyond even a few milimeters in diameter. It has been shown that tumor vascular density is an independent prognostic marker in several types of human tumors and is known to correlate with poor prognosis. To date, many angiogenic factors have been identified, such as transforming growth factor-α(TGF-α), transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β), fibroblast growth factor family(FGF), vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), platelet derived endothelial cell growth factor(PD-ECGF), tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), and angiogenin. Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is the second most common tumor in Korean males and is known as a typical hypervascular tumor with frequent portal vein invastion. The authors identified the expreesion of VEGF, TGF-β1, and b-FGF in HCC specimens and evaluated the relationship between these growth factors and the clinicopathologic characteristics of HCC. Method: We reviewed the medical records of 30 patients who were diagnosed as hepatocellular carinoma treated with hepatic resection between January 1994 and December 1998 in Soonchunhyang University Chunan Hospital. The selection of the cases was decided according to the condition of paraffin block fixation. The prognostic factors such as age, sex, tumor size, concentration of serum α-fetoprotein, presence of liver cirrhosis, presence of tumor emboli in portal vein, TMN stage, amount of transfusion during the operation, hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection, and Edmonson-Steiner(E-S) grade were investigated. Relationship between the prognostic factors and the immunopathologic expression of the TGF-β1, b-FGF, and VEGF was examined. Result: Thirty patients (24 males, 6 females) were included in the current study. The patient's mean age was 50.6 years and the age ranged from 36 to 65 years. The mean size of the tumor was found to be 5.2cm. All the patients were follewed up for 7 to 63 months. Child's classification A patients were 23(76.7%)cases, B patients were 7(23.3%)cases, and C was none. Immunohistochemical staining of HCC tumor mass in VEGF expression patients were 17(56.7%), b-FGF expression patients were 10(33.3%), and TGF-β1 expression patients were 10(33.3%). VEGF expression or more than one positive expression among the three factors correlated with tumor size and the stage of HCC but did not correlated with other clinicopathological characteristics. TGF-β1 and b-FGF did not correlate with any clinicopathological characteristics. Conclusion: The results suggest that the expression of VEGF or more than one positive expression among the three factors in HCC cells may be a significant prognostic factor of HCC.

      • 평형각을 이용한 양안 시차의 최적 제어

        본 논문에서는 카메라로 얻어진 화상을 근거로 계산된 속도분포를 시각정보로 이용하였으며, 이것으로부터 얻어진 대상물의 속도에 시선속도를 일치시켜 실험하였다. 즉 외란을 받은 환경에서도 안정된 화상을 얻기 위해서 외란이나 카메라 자체의 운동에 의해서 발생한 두부의 운동을 보상할 수 있는 눈의 운동이 필요하게 된다. 또한 외란이 있는 환경에서 인간의 시선제어법 즉 시각과 평형각이 융합된 시선제어 알고리즘을 제안하고, 그에 대한 실험 결과에서 시각과 평형각이 융합된 시선제어가 시선제어만을 한 것과 비교하여 위치편차가 적다는 것을 확인하였다. 이것은 카메라 받침대의 움직임이 각속도 센서에 의하여 보상되어 겉보기 속도가 감소되므로 속도의 추정오차도 감소되는 효과가 있기 때문이다. In this treatise, calculated velocity distribution was used to visual information by image that is obtained from camera. The visual velocity of object that is obtained from this visual information were fused and experimented. That is, need motion of eye that motion of head that happen by external disturbance or move of camera itself to get stable image in environment that receive external disturbance can be compensated. And algorithm that control gaze which vision and sense of equilibrium are fused in environment with external disturbance proposed, and thing that compare with that it controls gaze only that control gaze which vision and sense of equilibrium are fused in the experiment result and position deflection is few confirmed. This was because action of camera prop is effect that record conclusion error of the speed is decreased because the appearance speed is decreased being compensated by angular velocity sensor.
