        何仙姑의 八仙 진입과 形象化 고찰

        이 논문은 유일한 女神仙으로서 何仙姑가 八仙에 진입하게 된 과정을 살피고, 나아가 하선고가 팔선에 진입한 후의 이미지 변화를 고찰하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 하선고는 여러 다른 지역에서 명성을 떨쳤던 지방 여선이었다. 그러나 全眞教 교도들이 祖師 呂洞賓의 신통을 돋보이게 하기 위해 하선고 고사를 각색하였고 그로 인해 하선고는 道教 계보에 편입하게 되었다. 이후 하선고는 여동빈의 제자로서 서서히 팔선에 진입하였다. 하선고가 팔선에 합류된 것은 다른 7명의 신선보다 비교적 늦은 시기인 嘉靖 年間(1522~1566)이었다. 명대 이후 팔선 서사는 점차 世俗化하여 하선고의 이미지에서 女性性이 강조되기 시작하였다. 이는 특히 연극・소설 등 通俗文學에서 두드러졌다. 따라서 하선고 개인의 고사는 더 이상 주목받지 못하게 되었으며, 다만 팔선 멤버들과 함께 ‘親民的 신선’의 정체성을 공유하게 된다. 더불어 하선고의 여성성이 활용되어 극적인 스토리에 광채를 돋우는 역할을 담당했다. This paper aims to explore the process of He Xiangu’s entry into the Eight Immortals as the only female immortal and to further examine the changes in her image after she joined the group. He Xiangu was initially a local immortal who was well-known in several regions. However, The Quanzhen School altered her story to showcase the exceptional ability of their master, Lü Dongbin and included He Xiangu in the Taoist canon. Later, as a disciple of Lü Dongbin, she gradually became a member of the Eight Immortals. He Xiangu joined the Eight Immortals during the Jiajing period(1522~1566) of the Ming Dynasty, which was a relatively late date compared to the other seven members. After the Ming Dynasty, the narratives of the Eight Immortals began to be secularized, and He Xiangu’s image became more focused on femininity. This is especially evident in popular literature such as operas and novels. As a result, He Xiangu’s personal story no longer receives much attention, but she shares with the other members of the Eight Immortals the identity of ‘the god with the common touch’. In addition, the femininity of the female immortal He Xiangu adds flavor to the dramatic story.

      • A numerical framework of the phenomenological plasticity and fracture model for structural steels under monotonic loading

        In this study, the classical J2 flow theory is explicitly proved to be inappropriate to describe the plastic behaviour of structural steels under different stress states according to the reported test results. A numerical framework of the characterization of the strain hardening and ductile fracture initiation involving the effect of stress states, i.e., stress triaxiality and Lode angle parameter, is proposed based on the mechanical response of structural steels under monotonic loading. Both effects on strain hardening are determined by correction functions, which are implemented as different modules in the numerical framework. Thus, other users can easily modify them according to their test results. Besides, the ductile fracture initiation is determined by a fracture locus in the space of stress triaxiality, Lode angle parameter, and fracture strain. The numerical implementation of the proposed model and the corresponding code are provided in this paper, which are also available on GitHub. The validity of the numerical procedure is examined through single element tests and the accuracy of the proposed model is verified by existing test results.

        Modelling the Construction of a High Embankment Dam

        Appropriate layer quantity has been considered to model the sequential construction of a high embankment dam over 300 m and its effect on the predicted settlement of the 314 m high Shuangjiangkou dam has been discussed. The simulation results have demonstrated that at least 25 layers are required to accurately model the stage construction of a high embankment dam over 300 m. The stress and deformation within the dam and the foundation during the dam construction and reservoir filling have been simulated using finite element analysis. Saturated-unsaturated seepage theory is used to analyse the transient seepage field in the dam and in the foundation. Two different cases about the construction and the operation are modelled. One involves gradual reservoir filling after the completion of sequential construction, whereas the other involves sequential construction and reservoir impounding by several interleaved stages. The simulation results for both cases have been compared and discussed.

        Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms of the GnRHR Gene Associated with Reproductive Traits of Japanese Flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus)

        Gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor (GnRHR) gene is expressed at the anterior pituitary gland and plays a key role in gonad development. This study aimed to investigate molecular genetic characteristics of the GnRHR gene and elucidate the effects of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of GnRHR gene on sex steroid level in Japanese flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus). We used polymerase chain reaction single-strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) and sequencing of the GnRHR gene in 75 individuals. We identified three SNPs in the GnRHR gene: P1 locus (C759A and C830T) in the coding region of exon2 which were both linked together and P2 locus (G984T) in the coding region of exon3, which added a new transcript factor (ADR1) and a new methylation site (CG). Only C830T of P1 leads to amino acid changes Thr266Ile. Statistical analysis showed that P1 was significantly associated with $17{\beta}$-estradiol ($E_2$) level (p<0.01) and gonadosomatic index (GSI) (p<0.05). Individuals with genotype BB of P1 had significantly higher serum $E_2$ levels (p<0.01) and GSI (p<0.05) than those of genotype AA or AB. Another SNP, P2, synonymous mutation, was significantly associated with GSI (p<0.05). Individuals with genotype AB of P2 had significantly higher GSI (p<0.05) than that of genotype AA. In addition, there was a significant association between one diplotype based on three SNPs and reproductive traits. The genetic effects for both serum $E_2$ level and GSI of diplotype D4 were super diplotypes (p<0.05). These results suggest that the SNPs in Japanese Flounder GnRHR are associated with $E_2$ level and GSI.

        CK2 phosphorylates AP-2α and increases its transcriptional activity

        Transcription factor AP-2α involves in the process of mammalian embryonic development and tumorigenesis. Many studies have shown that AP-2α functions in association with other interacting proteins. In a two-hybrid screening, the regulatory subunit β of protein casein kinase 2 (CK2β) was identified as an interacting protein of AP-2α; we confirmed this interaction using in-vitro GST pull-down and in-vivo co-immunoprecipitation assays; in an endogenous co-immunoprecipitation experiment, we further found the catalytic subunit α of protein casein kinase 2 (CK2α) also exists in the complex. Phosphorylation analysis revealed that AP-2α was phosphorylated by CK2 kinase majorly at the site of Ser429, and such phosphorylation could be blocked by CK2 specific inhibitor 4,5,6,7-tetrabromobenzotriazole (TBB) in a dose-dependent manner. Luciferase assays demonstrated that both CK2α and CK2β enhanced the transcription activity of AP-2α; moreover, CK2β increased the stability of AP-2α. Our data suggest a novel cellular function of CK-2 as a transcriptional co-activator of AP-2α.

        Association Between Psychosocial Disorders and Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

        Background/AimsThe incidence of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is increasing annually. Studies have suggested that psychosocial disorders may be linked to the development of GERD. However, studies evaluating the association between psychosocial disorders and GERD have been inconsistent. Thus, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies that evaluated the association between psychosocial disorders and GERD. MethodsWe systematically searched the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane, and Web of Science databases until October 17, 2020. Pooled OR with 95% CI and subgroup analyses were calculated using a random-effects model. Subgroup analyses were performed to identify the sources of heterogeneity. Sensitivity analysis by one-study removal was used to test the robustness of our results. ResultsThis meta-analysis included 1 485 268 participants from 9 studies. Studies using psychosocial disorders as the outcome showed that patients with GERD had a higher incidence of psychosocial disorders compared to that in patients without GERD (OR, 2.57; 95% CI, 1.87-3.54; I2 = 93.8%; P < 0.001). Studies using GERD as an outcome showed an association between psychosocial disorders and an increased risk of GERD (OR, 2.23; 95% CI, 1.42-3.51; I2 = 97.1%; P < 0.001). The results of the subgroup analysis showed that the non-erosive reflux disease group had a higher increased risk of anxiety than erosive reflux disease group (OR, 9.45; 95% CI, 5.54- 16.13; I2 = 12.6%; P = 0.285). ConclusionResults of our meta-analysis showed that psychosocial disorders are associated with GERD; there is an interaction between the two.

        Adaptive Tracking Control of a Class of Nonlinear Systems with Input Delay and Dynamic Uncertainties Using Multi-dimensional Taylor Network

        This paper concerns on the control problem of a class of nonlinear systems with input delay and dynamic uncertainties using multi-dimensional Taylor Network (MTN) control method. Firstly, a new variable is introduced to eliminate the effect of input delay by combining Padé approximation with Laplace transformation. Secondly, a MTN-backstepping-based control strategy is constructively designed by introducing a new coordinate transformation, and the proposed controller has the advantages of simple structure and good real-time performance. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed MTN-based control approach is demonstrated by three examples.

        This study revealed that CWR22Rv-1 cells overexpressing δ-catenin display bigger tumor formation and higher angiogenic potentials than their matched control cells in the CAM assay. In addition, δ-catenin overexpression in CWR22Rv-1 cells results in increased hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression. Furthermore, δ-catenin overexpression was found to enhance nuclear distribution of both β-catenin and HIF-1α in hypoxic condition, which is diminished by knockdown of δ-catenin. Our current study adds novel evidence regarding contribution of δ-catenin to the progression of prostate cancer. ⓒ2012 Federation of European Biochemical Societies.         Varilactones and wortmannilactones produced by Penicillium variabile cultured with histone deacetylase inhibitor

        Seven polyketides, including four new onesnamed as varilactones A–B (1–2) and wortmannilactonesM–N (3–4), as well as three biogenetically related knownwortmannilactones E, F and H (5–7), were isolated fromthe fungus Penicillium variabile HXQ-H-1, cultivated inpotato-based medium with the histone deacetylase inhibitorsuberoylanilide hydroxamic acid (SAHA). Their structures(1–7) were established by analysis of NMR and MS data,and the absolute configuration of oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptaneunit was deduced from 1H-NMR analyses on MPA estersafter chemical reduction reaction. Among them, varilactonesA and B (1 and 2), features a novel skeleton with atriene unit linking an oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane and anoxabicyclo[3.3.0]octane rings.
