        대량의 각혈로 사망한 장티푸스 1예

        We experienced a 25 year-old male patient with typhoid fever complicated with massive hemoptysis. Pulmonary complication in typhoid fever is very rare and to our knowledge, there has been no report of hemoptysis as a main cause of death with this disease. We herein report a rare case of typhoid fever.

        세딸의 죽음을 초래한 三重精神病 治驗 一例

        Recently the auther had the opportunity to examine a case of folie a trois involving mother and two dauthers. Because of their shared delusions of constant threat to their virginity from men the mother had killed her three daughters by drawing vinyl cover over their faces while restraints were applied to the victims, extremities to prevent any physicical resistance. Two victims were partners of the infector the mother, and the remaining one daughter was diagnosed as schizophrenia. From this case presentation, it was thought that evolution and transference of paranoid symptoms are influenced by psychological-environmental factors rather than genetic-constitutional one, necessisating psychiatric approaches of this disorder should consider these aspects.

      • 나노크기의 은 촉매제조 및 특성분석

        Nano-sized silver catalysts have been prepared by alcohol and dioctyl esterof sodium sulphosuccinic acid, anionic surfactant, Aerosol OT(AOT). TOD/TPR andethylene oxide activity have been studied to investigate the characteristics of silvercatalysts. The sizes of Ag particles were estimated to be 10∼16 nm and the peak ofsilver oxide was not observed by XRD except for metallic silver. The desorptionpeak of molecular oxygen by TPD/TPR uniqely observed at about 400 ℃ in thecatalyst prepared by water-alcohol method. However, in the catalyst prepared bymicroemulsion method, the desorption peaks of molecular and atomic oxygens wereobserved at about 400 ℃ and 600 ℃, respectivly. The catalyst prepared by water-alcohol method showed higher activity ethylene oxide than the catalyst prepared by microemulsion method. It eems due to the larger silver particles and easier desorption of molecular oxygen from the catalyst prepared by water-alcohol method.

        The parallelization of loops can be made formal by basing it on an algebraic theory of loop transformation. In this theory, the concept of unimodularity and non-unimodularity arises. We discuss the linear loop transformation framework which is the formal basis for state of the art optimization techniques in restructuring compilers for parallel machines. The framework unifies most existing transformations. We discuss in detail the techniques that generates the transformed loop and derives the desired linear transformation. We present method on loop and data transformations and motivate a unified framework.

        Since most program execution time is spent in the loop structure, the researches of transforming sequential programs into parallel programs have been focused on the method of a loop structure transformation. But, most programs have implicit parallelism of interprocedure. Most parallelization of loop with procedure calls just focus on the uniform code. This paper suggestions a way of procedure analysis (an interprocedural analysis and an intraprocedural analysis). We extend the previous loop transformation algorithms for procedure transformation analysis. By using the suggested transformation analysis, we show the examples of parallelization using uniform code, nonuniform code, and complex code, and then evaluate the performance of a sequential and a parallel code using CRAY-T3E.

        고양이에서 출혈성 쇽 및 수액소생시 소화관내 산소투여가 소화관 점막 산소화에 미치는 효과

        Background: This study was purposed to study the therapeutic value of intraluminal oxygen insufflation on the oxygenation of gut mucosa in a feline model subjected to a hemorrhagic shock followed by reperfusion. Methods: Eighteen cats were divided into three groups: For group 1, 6 cats were subjected to sham operation as a control group; for group 2, 6 cats were subjected to a hemorrhagic shock for 2 hours prior to reperfusion as a hemorrhagic shock(HS) group; for group 3, 6 cats were subjected to a simultaneous insufflation of intraluminal oxygen, continued during the shock and reperfusion periods as a oxygenated hemorrhagic shock(OHS) group. Mesenteric PvO₂, mesenteric venous arterial(v-a) lactate difference, mesenteric P(v-a)CO₂ and mesenteric pH(a-v) were measured for every 30 minutes during the shock and reperfusion. Results: The lactate(v-a) was increased during the shock. For group OHS, the lactate(v-a) returned to the baseline value after reperfusion, but for group HS, it did not return. The values pH(v-a) and P(v-a)CO. were increased during the shock and returned to the baseline value for group OHS, but for group HS, the increase was greater than group OHS(p$lt;0.05), but not returned to the baseline value after reperfusion. For both pH(v-a) and P(v-a)CO₂, there were statistically significant differences(p$lt;0.05) between group HS and group OHS during the shock and reperfusion. Conclusions: We conclude that the insufflation of intraluminal oxygen improves the oxygenation of gut mucosa in the feline model undergone a hemorrhagic shock followed by reperfusion.

      • 확장된 자료 종속성 제거 방법을 이용한 프로시저 변환

        In this paper the proposal of parallelism on sequential loop since most program execution time is consumed in loop structure. This procedure is about automatic transformation to nested DOALL loop and nested loops to reduce data dependency efficiently. And the study to extract the parallelism is about in only one procedure transition. But almost all programs have potential parallelism in between procedures. A procedure call, which has only one loop structure or procedure call, is almost all are concentrated on uniform code, which is in the distance of data dependency in uniform.For the parallelism on loops or procedure that has loops on paralleisms are concentrated on uniform code.We presents algorithms which can be applied with uniform code, nonuniform code and complex code. The proposed algorithm evaluate using CRAY-T3E. The result of performance evaluation is that proposed algorithm is an effect.

      • 새로운 Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors의 합성

        노인성 치매의 일종인 alzheimer's disease의 효과적인 억제제를 합성하기 위해 우리는 분자 모델링에 의한 가장 적합한 물질인 m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid를 합성하였다. 출발물질인 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate의 경우 boronic acid의 작용기인 hydroxyl group을 protecting시킴으로써 반응의 안정성을 기하였다. Quarternary ammonium salt는 과량의 methyliodide와 염기 촉매인 potassium hydrogen carbonate를 사용하여 용매인 methanol에서 반응시켜 상당히 높은 수율을 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 과량의 methyliodide와 염기촉매인 potassium hydrogen carbonate를 사용하여 용매인 methanol에서 반응시킨 결과 boronic acid의 protection없이도 안정하게 반응이 진행되어짐을 확인할 수 있었다. In order to syntheisize a effective inhibotor for alzheimer's disease, we synthesized m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid 4 which is designed by molecular modeling form. We protected the hydroxyl group of 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate 1 with ethlyne glycol to remove the reactivity if hydroxyl group. To synthesize m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid 4, we reacted 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate 1 with ezcess methyl iodide and potassium hydrogen carbonate as a base-catalyst in methanol. but On executed reaction without protection on hydroxyl group, we found out the result that the hydroxyl group of boronic acid group at 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate 1 didn't react with excess methyliodide. Synthesized m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid 4 is in progress about biological tests as a plausible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor.

      • 효율적인 병렬수행을 위한 루프 재구조화 방법

        In this paper we present a new theory of linear loop transformations called Elimination of Data Dependency(EDD). The current framework of linear loop transformation cannot identify a significant fraction of parallelism. For this reason, we presents a method to extract the maximum loop parallelism in perfect nested loops. Our technique is applicable to general loop nests where the dependences include both distances and directions. This theory provides the foundation for solving an open question in complication for parallel machines: which loop transformations, and in what order, should be applied to aceive a particular goal, such as maximizing parallelism. This paper presents an efficient loop transformation algorithm based on this theory to maximize the degree of parallelism in a loop nest. We present the results of experiments that demonstrate that EDD can result in substantial performance improvements.
