In this paper, we present thermal characteristics of a fiber Bragg grating(FBG) filter, including peak reflectivity and FWHM bandwidth by various refractive index change. The reflection spectrum of a FBG filter with refractive index change is affected by its thermal stability.

본 논문에서는 딥러닝 지도학습 알고리즘을 사용한 학습 모델을 대상으로 미용 관련 피부질환 인식의 효과성을 실험적으로 비교한다. 최근 딥러닝 기술을 산업, 교육, 의료 등 다양한 분야에 적용하고 있으며, 의료 분야에서는 중요 피부질환 중 하나인 피부암 식별의 수준을 전문가 수준으로 높인 성과를 보이고 있다. 그러나 아직 피부미용과 관련된 질환에 적용한 사례가 다양하지 못하다. 따라서 딥러닝 기반 이미지 분류에 활용도가 높은 CNN 알고리즘을 비롯하여 ResNet, SE-ResNet을 적용하여 실험적으로 정확도를 비교함으로써 미용 관련 피부질환을 판단하는 효과성을 평가한다. 각 알고리즘을 적용한 학습 모델을 실험한 결과에서 CNN의 경우 평균 71.5%, ResNet은 평균 90.6%, SE-ResNet은 평균 95.3%의 정확도를 보였다. 특히 학습 깊이를 다르게하여 비교한 결과 50개의 계층 구조를 갖는 SE-ResNet-50 모델이 평균 96.2%의 정확도로 미용 관련 피부질환 식별을 위해 가장 효과적인 결과를 보였다. 본 논문의 목적은 피부 미용과 관련된 질환의 판별을 고려하여 효과적인 딥러닝 알고리즘의 학습과 방법을 연구하기 위한 것으로 이를 통해 미용 관련 피부질환 개선을 위한 서비스 개발로 확장할 수 있을 것이다. In this paper, we empirically compare the effectiveness of training models to recognize beauty-related skin disease using supervised deep learning algorithms. Recently, deep learning algorithms are being actively applied for various fields such as industry, education, and medical. For instance, in the medical field, the ability to diagnose cutaneous cancer using deep learning based artificial intelligence has improved to the experts level. However, there are still insufficient cases applied to disease related to skin beauty. This study experimentally compares the effectiveness of identifying beauty-related skin disease by applying deep learning algorithms, considering CNN, ResNet, and SE-ResNet. The experimental results using these training models show that the accuracy of CNN is 71.5% on average, ResNet is 90.6% on average, and SE-ResNet is 95.3% on average. In particular, the SE-ResNet-50 model, which is a SE-ResNet algorithm with 50 hierarchical structures, showed the most effective result for identifying beauty-related skin diseases with an average accuracy of 96.2%. The purpose of this paper is to study effective training and methods of deep learning algorithms in consideration of the identification for beauty-related skin disease. Thus, it will be able to contribute to the development of services used to treat and easy the skin disease.
Vibrio areninigrae sp. nov., a marine bacterium isolated from black sand.

<P>A Gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic, motile, slightly curved rod-shaped bacterial strain was isolated from black sand collected from Soesoggak, Jeju island, Korea. The strain, designated J74T, was able to grow in the presence of 1-7.5 % NaCl, at temperatures of 4-45 degrees C and at pH 5-10. Strain J74T was oxidase- and catalase-positive, arginine dihydrolase-negative and sensitive to the vibriostatic agent O/129. Strain J74T was characterized based on physiology, morphology, biochemical features and 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. The isolate required sodium ions for growth and utilized a wide range of compounds as sole sources of carbon and energy. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences showed that strain J74T belongs to the class Gammaproteobacteria. It was found to be associated with the genus Vibrio and was phylogenetically related most closely to the type strain of Vibrio hispanicus (98.7 % 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity). However, DNA-DNA hybridization experiments between strain J74T and V. hispanicus KCTC 12827T revealed a level of relatedness of 37.7 %. Thus, phenotypic and phylogenetic data suggested that J74T should be placed in the genus Vibrio as representing a novel species, for which the name Vibrio areninigrae sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is J74T (=KCTC 22122T =JCM 14949T).</P>

<P>A Gram-negative, motile, rod-shaped bacterium was isolated from black sand collected at Soesoggak, Jeju island, Korea. The strain, designated J83T, was able to grow in the presence of 5 % NaCl, at temperatures of 4-45 degrees C and over the pH range 5.5-9.5. The isolate reduced nitrate to nitrite and was positive for oxidase, catalase, alkaline phosphatase and leucine arylamidase. Strain J83(T) utilized malate, maltose, mannitol and glucose as sole sources of carbon. Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequences revealed that strain J83T belongs to the class Gammaproteobacteria and is related to species of the genus Shewanella. Strain J83T exhibited 97.8 % 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity to the type strain of Shewanella hafniensis. Based on DNA-DNA hybridization, the level of relatedness between strain J83T and S. hafniensis NBRC 100975T was 39.3 %. On the basis of phenotypic, genetic and phylogenetic data, strain J83T is considered to represent a novel species of the genus Shewanella, for which the name Shewanella basaltis sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is J83T (=KCTC 22121T =JCM 14937T).</P>

Symbiobacterium toehii has been reported as a thermophile exhibiting a commensal interaction with Geohucillus foehii. The distribution of the commensal thermophiles in various soils was investigated using a denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE). Based on the DGGE analysis, the enrichment condition for the growth of Symbiobacterium sp. was found to also enrich populations of several other microbial spp. as well as Symbiobarterium sp. In the enrichment experiment, several different 16S rDNA sequences of commensal thermophiles were detected in all of the soil samples tested, indicating that commensal thermophiles are widely distributed in various soils.

Truncated Poisson p.d.f.를 유도한 후 parameter λ를, 심오한 수리적 과정을 거쳐서 biased인 경우 (M.L.E.와 M.E. 두가지 방법)와 unbiased인 경우로 나우어 구분하여 추정 하였으며 특히, 어느 경우에 의해서 구해진 측정치가 보다 더 바람직한 추정치 인지를 efficiency에 의해서 비교ㆍ검토하여 보았다. 또한, poisson p.d.f의 분산이 가장 작은 불편 추정치가 무엇인지 고찰 하여 보았다.

Purpose Dexamethasone palmitate (DXPL) is a lipophilic derivative of dexamethasone (DXM) used to overcome the low drug-loading capacity and immediate release characteristics of DXM from nanoparticles. In this study, we investigated the potential of DXPL-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles (DXPL-SLNs) to increase drug encapsulation efficiency, prolong drug release, and alleviate skin inflammation. Methods DXPL-SLNs were prepared using the nano-emulsion template technique with trilaurin as a lipid matrix and Tween 20, Span 20, and Brij 58 as a surfactant mixture. The physicochemical properties of DXPL-SLNs were examined in terms of particle size, polydispersity index, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency, loading capacity, morphology, and crystalline behavior. The in vitro release profile of DXM from the DXPL-SLNs incubated in mouse plasma was assessed using a plasma conversion assay. In vivo anti-inflammatory effects of topically applied DXPL-SLNs were evaluated in mice with 12-O-tetradecanoyl-phorbol-13-acetate (TPA)-induced ear edema. Results The optimized DXPL-SLNs (DXPL/trilaurin/Tween 20/Span 20/Brij 58:4/2/2/0.2/4, w/w ratio, respectively) displayed a mean particle size of 182.8 ± 2.7 nm with a very high drug loading capacity of 30.4%. DXPL-SLNs showed substantially prolonged drug release in mouse plasma compared to DXPL solution. Furthermore, DXPL-SLNs showed enhanced anti-inflammatory effects by efficiently reducing TPA-induced ear edema. Conclusion These findings suggest that DXPL-SLNs have great potential as anti-inflammatory therapeutics against acute skin inflammation.
