      • 한국산야생등줄쥐(Apodemus agrarius coreae)의 해마복합체에서 neuropeptide Y 면역반응세포에 관한 연구

        Neuropeptide Y(NPY) was first isolated from porcine brain. This discovery has lead some workers to study the distribution of this peptide in the central nervous system of various mammals. In this study the distribution pattern of neuropeptide Y-immunoreactive neurons was examined in the hippocampal complex of Striped field mouse in Korea(Apodemus agrarius coreae) Experimental animals were anesthesized with thiopental sodium and perfused with 4% paraformaldehyde through the left ventricle and the ascending aorta. The brains were removed and transferred 10%, 20% and 30% sucrose solution. Sections were cut on a cryostat into 40㎛-thick. The tissue was immunostained with free-floating and avidin-biotm complex(ABC) method. The results obtained in this study were summarized as followings. 1. The most of NPY-IR neurons in hippocampus proper were found in the polymorphic layer and a few was found in the pyramidal layer. 2. The process run vertically in the deep polymorphic layer and run parallel to corpus callosum in superficial polymorphic layer. 3. The shapes of neurons in hippocampus proper were varied of polymorphic, oval or round, and the nerve fibers were found in the molecular laver and the hippocampal fissure. 4. The highest density in number of NPY-IR neurons on dentate gyrus were found in hilar area of dentate gyrus. 5. The most of NPY-IR nerve fibers were found in molecular cell layer.

      • SCR용 외부혼합형 이유체 노즐개발을 위한 실험적 연구

        소각로 내에서 생성되는 질소 산화물을 저감시키는 SCR 설비의 핵심 기술이 되는 분사 노즐의 특성을 분석하고자 두 유체가 지나는 통로에 선회기가 달린 외부혼합형 이유체 노즐을 선정하여 물과 공기의 유량 및 압력 변화를 주었으며 외부노즐의 오리피스 직경의 변화와 두 노즐 선단부의 상대적인 변화를 주었다. 이와 같은 외부 혼합형 이유체 노즐의 장점은 다른 종류의 노즐을 사용할 때보다 더욱 미세한 액적을 얻을 수 있으며 액체의 유량이 변해도 일정한 형태의 분무각을 유지시켜 준다. 또한 액체의 압력이 기체의 압력보다 높은 경우에도 액체노즐에서 분사되는 액적이 기체 공급관으로 역류하는 일이 없으며, 기체의 압력이 액체의 압력보다 높아도 액체의 분사특성에 거의 영향을 주지 않는다. 그리고 공기가 선회기를 지나서 분사되기 때문에 더욱 활발한 와류가 생성된다. 따라서 분사 액적과 공기와의 혼합이 더욱 잘 이루어지리라 예상된다. 또한 거의 모든 분사압력범위에서 미립화가 잘 이루어지기 때문에 저압에서 고압으로 압력에 따른 분무 특성을 연구하기에도 적합하며 점도가 있는 물질의 분사에 특히 유효하므로 SCR 설비에 적합한 노즐로 사료된다. The effect of the working fluid flow conditions and nozzle geometry on the spray performances of a twin-fluid nozzle used in SCR(Selective Catalytic Reduction) is investigated experimentally. In this experiments, the liquid pressure is varied in the range of 0.3atm to 1.5atm and the annular air pressure is varied from the 0.5atm to 3.0atm. Relative position between liquid and air outlet port changes from 1mm inside the nozzle cap to 1mm outside the nozzle cap. The outer diameter of the air outlet port is varied with 5mm, 6mm and 7mm. Spray visualization is realized with CCD-Camera. SMD(Sauter Mean Diameter) and mean particle velocities are measured by PDPA(Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer) under various experimental conditions. The measuring point is 300mm away from the nozzle tip in the downstream spray. The experimental results are that spray angle is depended Air flow rate because Nozzle diameter, air pressure and nozzle tips relative position(nozzle tip) are related air flow rate. Also, SMD(sauter mean diameter) is depended Air flow rate and Water flow rate. SMD is increased when Water flow ratetwater pressure) is bigger. But SMD is decreased when Air flow rate (Air pressure) is bigger.

      • Enhancement of Mechanical Hardness in SnO<sub><i>x</i></sub>N<sub><i>y</i></sub> with a Dense High-Pressure Cubic Phase of SnO<sub>2</sub>

        <P>Controlling crystalline phases in polymorphic materials is critical not only for the fundamental understanding of the physics of phase formation but also for the technological application of forbidden, but potentially useful physical properties of the nominally unstable phases. Here, using tin oxide (SnO2) as a model system, we demonstrate a new way to enhance the mechanical hardness of an oxide by stabilizing a high-pressure dense phase through nitrogen integration in the oxide. Pristine SnO2 has a tetragonal structure at the ambient pressure, and undergoes phase transitions to orthorhombic and cubic phases with increasing pressure. Leveraging the enhanced reactivity of nitrogen in plasma, we are able to synthesize tin oxynitride (SnON) thin films with a cubic phase same as the high-pressure phase of SnO2. Such nitrogen-stabilized cubic SnON films exhibit a mechanical hardness of similar to 23 +/- 4 GPa, significantly higher than even the nitride counterpart (Sn3N4) as the result of the shortened atomic distance of the denser, high-pressure cubic phase. Moreover, SnON has a heavily doped, n-type semiconducting property with a controllable optical bandgap. Our work will provide new opportunities to search for and to utilize beneficial, but hidden physical properties that exist in a particular phase stable only at extreme conditions.</P>

        Purpose: This study is focused on integrating TRIZ(Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) and AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process). AHP is Multi Criteria Decision Making. We want to apply CE-EOL(Consumer Electronic End of Life) Goods collection practices with TRIZ-AHP integrated methodology. TRIZ derives improvement ideas through a contradiction definition, parameter conversion, contradiction matrix and 40 Inventive Principles. Research design, data, and methodology: TRIZ derives improvement of ideas through a contradiction definition, parameter conversion, contradiction matrix and 40 Inventive Principles. Derived the idea was to objectively judge and select the chosen improvement ideas through the AHP methodology. Resource recycling law is enacted as part of the environmental protection in Korea. Results: TRIZ-AHP methodology helps a corporate to practise innovation activities. Thus derived the idea shows the result of applying the actual business case. Conclusions: The idea is derived from the TRIZ to improve CE-EOL(Consumer Electronic End of Life) Goods collection. In order to select the optimum ideas, The AHP is applied to the weight of the idea. TRIZ-AHP methodology helps a corporate to practise innovation activities.

      • 鹽害土壤의 溶脫用水量算定에 관한 硏究

        The desalinization experiments with water management practices were carried out, using the soil samples collected in reclaimed tidelands in the western part of Korea. The soil samples were classified into two groups, namely, silty loam and silty clay loam. The leaching method by subsurface drainage and the rinsing method by surface drainage were applied for the water management practices. The changes of electrical conductivity, exchangeable sodium percentage and pH during the desalinization of reclaimed tidelands were observed. And desalinization effects were analyzed by statistical methods. The results obtained from this study are as follows : The rates of decrease of the relative electrical conductivity and the relative exchangeable sodium percentage against the increase of leaching requirements for desalinization, were greater in the leaching method than in the rinsing method. The tendency was considerably high at the beginning of desalinization, regardless of water management methods or clay contents, and was gradually reduced thereafter. The regression equations for the estimation of the leaching requirements for desalinization could be derived, using the relative electrical conductivity, the relative exchangeable sodium percentage, and the relative pH. As the result, the leaching requirements for desalinization could be estimate at Dw/Ds=3.0 in the rinsing method and Dw/Ds=0.4 in the leaching method.

        In addition to age, white cell count and immunophenotype, karyotype has been reported to be one of the important prognostic factors in acute lymphocytic leukemias. Furthermore 70 percent of patients with acute B lymphocytic leukemia presented chromosomal abnormalities, which is known to have a close relationship with the prognosis. Among the abnormalities, triploid is rare and known to have the worse prognosis. Structural chromosomal abnormality of the 11q23 band is more common in childhood acute lymphocytic leukemia and has been rarely reported in adult lymphocytic leukemia. We present a case of a 29 year - old male patient with acute lymphocytic leukemia, who had triploid and chromosomal translocation including 11q23 band along with the review of related literature.(Korean J Med 61:190-194, 2001)

        뇌혈관 중재시술 지원 가이드 시스템에 관한 연구

        최근 디지털 영상장비 개발 기술의 발전으로 인하여 중재 시술이 일반화되고 있다. 중재 영상시술은 미세한 카테터와 가이드와이어를 체내에 삽입하고 시술하는 기술적 특성으로 인하여, 시술의 효과와 안전성을 높이기위해서는 엑스선영상의 고화질이어야 한다. 이로인하여 방사선 피폭량이 증가하는 문제점을 갖고 있다. 따라서 엑스선 디텍터의 성능을 개선하는 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 또한, 혈관 조영술을 기반으로 한 중재시술은 참조 영상 처리와 3D 의료 영상처리 기술이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 중재시술을 지원하기 위한 가이드 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 뇌혈관질환의 중재시술에 기존 혈관조형검사기반의 2D 의료영상이 갖고 있는 문제점을 해결하고, 중재시술 도구인 카테터와 가이드와이어의 목표 병변까지 실시간 위치 추적과 최적의 경로를 안내 해주고자 한다. 이를 위한 전체 시스템은 의료영상 획득부와 영상처리부 그리고 디스플레이 디바이스부로 구성하였다. 그리고 제안한 시스템에서 제공하는 가이드서비스의 실험환경은 브레인 팬텀(Complete intracranial model with aneurysms, ref H+N-S-A-010)을 엑스선으로 촬영하면서 실험하였다. 그리고 참조 영상을 생성하기 위해서 라프라시안 알고리즘 기반의 뇌혈관 모델링과 DICOM에서 추출한 이미지 처리를 위해 Volume ray casting 기법을 적용하였다. 그리고 카테터와 가이드와이어의 위치추적과 경로 제공을 위해 A<sup>*</sup> 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 끝으로 제안한 시스템에서 제공하는 카테터와 가이드와이어의 위치추적 수행결과를 보인다. 제안한 시스템은 향후 중재시술에 유용한 안내 서비스를 제공할 것으로 기대하고 있다. Due to the recent advancement in digital imaging technology, development of intervention equipment has become generalize. Video arbitration procedure is a process to insert a tiny catheter and a guide wire in the body, so in order to enhance the effectiveness and safety of this treatment, the high-quality of x-ray of image should be used. However, the increasing of radiation has become the problem. Therefore, the studies to improve the performance of x-ray detectors are being actively processed. Moreover, this intervention is based on the reference of the angiographic imaging and 3D medical image processing. In this paper, we propose a guidance system to support this intervention. Through this intervention, it can solve the problem of the existing 2D medical images based vessel that has a formation of cerebrovascular disease, and guide the real-time tracking and optimal route to the target lesion by intervention catheter and guide wire tool. As a result, the system was completely composed for medical image acquisition unit and image processing unit as well as a display device. The experimental environment, guide services which are provided by the proposed system Brain Phantom (complete intracranial model with aneurysms, ref H+N-S-A-010) was taken with x-ray and testing. To generate a reference image based on the Laplacian algorithm for the image processing which derived from the cerebral blood vessel model was applied to DICOM by Volume ray casting technique. A<sup>*</sup> algorithm was used to provide the catheter with a guide wire tracking path. Finally, the result does show the location of the catheter and guide wire providing in the proposed system especially, it is expected to provide a useful guide for future intervention service.
