Objectives: The average alcohol consumption per capita among Vietnamese adults has consistently increased. Although alcoholrelated disorders have been extensively studied, there is a paucity of research shedding light on this issue among Internet users. The study aimed to examine the severity of alcohol-related disorders and other associated factors that might predispose individuals towards alcohol usage in a sample of youths recruited online. Methods: An online cross-sectional study was conducted with 1,080 Vietnamese youths. A standardized questionnaire was used. Respondent-driven sampling was applied to recruit participants. Multivariate logistic and Tobit regressions were utilized to identify the associated factors. Results: About 59.5% of the males and 12.7% of the total youths declared that they were actively using alcohol. From the total sample, a cumulative total of 32.3% of the participants were drinking alcohol, with 21.8% and 25.0% of the participants being classified as drinking hazardously and binge drinkers, respectively. The majority of the participants (60.7%) were in the pre-contemplative stage. Conclusions: A high prevalence of hazardous drinking was recognized among online Vietnamese youths. In addition, we found relationships between alcohol use disorder and other addictive disorders, such as tobacco smoking and water-pipe usage. Our results highlighted that the majority of the individuals are not receptive to the idea of changing their alcohol habits, and this would imply that there ought to be more government effort towards the implementation of effective alcohol control policies.

Aluminium (Al) is one of the major elements in rocks and its concentration can be varied, depending on different rock types as well as sources. The present study aimed to propose an analytical method based on the UV-Vis as a cheap, simple, and common instrument equipped in most laboratories for Al quantification in rocks after the microwave assisted acid digestion. The aluminone and 8-hydroxyquinoline were investigated for the colorimetric assay. The results show that the 8-hydroxyquinoline reagent was more favorable in terms of the minimized affects of the potential interferences present in the digested solutions, i.e., Fe3+, Si4+ and F–. The calibration curve was constructed from 0.10 mg/L to 3.00 mg/L with the goodness of linearity (R2 = 0.9996). The limits of detection and quantification (LOD and LOQ) were estimated, i.e., 0.029 mg/L and 0.087 mg/L, respectively. The 8-hydroxyquinoline was applied to real rock samples, demonstrating favorable precision (RSD = 0.34 %-1.8 %) and no remarkable differences were found compared to the inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) as a reference measurement approach.
On the Structured Green Band in ZnO Nanowires

ZnO nanowires have been synthesized by using the vapor evaporation method. The material source was ZnO powder mixed with graphite. The nanowires have the shape of long rods with diameters ranging from 100 to 300 nm and lengths of several tens of micrometers. The photolu- minescence (PL) was measured from 15 K to 300 K. At room temperature, the PL exhibited a relatively strong deep-level emission around 500 nm (green band) and a small UV emission peak at 380 nm (UV band). At low temperatures, the PL spectrum consisted of a group of sharp UV peaks and a smaller green band having the ne structure of a broad multiphonon side band. The ne structure was observed to include doublets at the higher energy side. The temperature dependences of the peak position and of the full width at half maximum height (FWHM) of the PL spectra for green band were investigated. The study examines the impact of organizational rewards, procedure justice, and perceived supervisor support on perceived organizational support, and examine the impact of perceived organizational support on affective commitment to the organization in the logistic enterprises as well. Quantitative research is applied to measure relationships by regression analysis with SPSS. The research data was collected by convenient method from 180 employees who work in different departments in the logistics industry. The study results in the model 1 found that organizational rewards, procedure justice, and perceived supervisor support have a positive relationship to the perceived organizational support. The study results in the model 2 also found that perceived organizational support has strong impact on the affective commitment to the organization. The study results contribute to both management theory and management practice. For the management theory aspect, the authors suggest that perceived organizational support should be considered the key antecedent of affective commitment about which researchers should pay more attention as a concept. Based on the research results, the authors also recommend for the management practice that managers should pay attention to the implementation of rewards, procedure justice, and supervisor support to increase the perceived organizational support and affective commitment in the logistic enterprises.

The effect of CaCO 3 on the mechanical properties of polyethylene terephthalate/ polypropylene (PET/PP) blends with styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene (SEBS) as a compatibilizer was investigated. Samples with different compositions of PET/PP/CaCO 3 blend were prepared by injection molding method with CaCO 3 content of 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 wt%. The ratio of PET/PP was fixed at 90/10, while compatibilizer SEBS had a fixed ratio of 5 %. The samples were formed according to the ASTM D638, ASTM D790, and ISO 868 standards. The results show that adding 2 % of CaCO 3 helps to improve the mechanical properties of the plastic sample. Specifically, tensile strength and the flexural strength increase as CaCO 3 increases from 0 to 2 %. With 2 % of CaCO 3 , the tensile strength and the flexural strength gain the highest value of 34.79 MPa, and 60.59 MPa, respectively. However, if the sample content is more than 4 % CaCO 3 , both the tensile strength and the flexural strength will experience a decline as the percentage of CaCO 3 rises. The SEM microstructure indicates that CaCO 3particles are well dispersed on the PET substrate. Additionally, the number of particles increases when enhancing the CaCO 3 content in the blends.
