These people were wrongfully arrested, imprisoned and (in some cases tortured) by armed police, military and security forces as a part of the 4.3 Incident, without legitimate justification and without proper hearings or trial. It is essential theme that they spend their time in jail without doing any crime during the Jeju 4.3 Grand Tragedy. It is our second theme that they have suffered pains, trauma and lamentations from the Tragedy, then and now. These 11 cases represent desperate situation of violations of human rights of Jeju people during the Jeju 4.3 Grand Tragedy as it were : Gyeong-in Kim, Pyeong-guk Kim, Dong-su Park, Won-hyu Boo, Chun-ok Park, Keun-bang Yang, Il-hwa Yang, Hui-chun Oh, Chang-yong Hyun, U-ryong Hyun, and Byeongtae Jo

Primary CD30 negative large T cell lymphomas consist of CD30 negative large tumor cells without prior or concurrent mycosis fungoides. Clinically, it presents with solitary, localized or generalized plaques, nodules, or tumors and most cases show an aggressive clinical course. The histologic apperance may be identical to that of classic mycosis fungoides undergoing transformation into large cell lymphoma and large tumor cells represent at least 30 percent of the total tumor cell population. We experienced a case of CD30 negative large T cell lymphoma and report it with a review of literatures.(Korean J Dermaton 2003;41(10) : 1402~1405)

A Study On Mental Health of Nurses - Focused on Anger and Job Stress -

The current study analyzes trait anger, anger expression, and job stress of nurses in order to improve mental health of nurses by providing basic data. For this study, a survey of 201 nurses was conducted from February 24 to March 23, 2015. The nurses surveyed were working for hospitals located in K province, southern part of Seoul, Korea. SPSS Win 21.0 was used to analyze data via technical statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression. Job stress in nurses differed significantly depending on their age, rank, and recent stressful events. Job stress also had a positive correlation with trait anger and anger expression. General factors that affect job stress were age and recent stressful events, which had explanatory power of 0.7%. Independent variables that influence nurses’ job stress were trait anger, with an explanatory power of 18.4%. The results above suggest that it is necessary to set up job stress management programs considering age, rank, recent stressful events, and anger level.

창의적 자원봉사 프로그램이 간호대학생의 행복감과 셀프리더십에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 간호학과에 재학 중인 대학생에게 창의적 자원봉사 프로그램을 적용하였을 때 행복감 및 셀프리더십 증진에 유의미한 효과를 확인하기 위한 것이다. 연구 대상자는 J대학교 간호학과 재학생 80명으로 실험집단과 통제집단에 각각 40명씩 배정되었으며, 창의적 자원봉사 프로그램은 주 1회 120분씩 총 5회기를 실시하였다. 실험집단과 통제집단의 일반적 특성에 대한 동질성은 χ-test와 Fisher s exact test, 행복감 및 셀프리더십의 사전검사 측정치의 동질성은 independent t-test를 실시하였으며, 행복감 및 셀프리더십의 사전검사와 사후검사 점수 간의 평균의 차이는 independent t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과 창의적 자원봉사 프로그램은 참여 간호대학생들의 행복감 및 셀프리더십 증진에 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 이는 창의적 자원봉사 프로그램이 간호대학생의 정신건강 증진 및 긍정적 인성형성에 효과가 있음을 검증하였다. Purpose: This research is to confirm the positive effect of a creative volunteering program on nursing students happiness and self-leadership. Methods: The subjects were 80 students who were attending J College of Nursing and we placed 40 students in an experimental group and 40 students in a control group. We conducted total 5 sessions of the creative volunteering program once per week and for 120 minutes per session. We used the χ -test and the Fisher s exact test for homogeneity of general characteristics of the experimental group and the control group. We conducted the independent t-test to determine homogeneity of the measurement of a preliminary test for students happiness and self-leadership. We also analyzed an average difference of the preliminary test and the post test for students happiness and self-leadership by using the independent t-test. Results: The results show that the creative volunteering program increased students happiness and self-leadership. Conclusion: Therefore, the creative volunteering program improves students mental health by helping them forming the positive character.

학습자의 오류 분석을 통한 보충과정 교재 개발의 원리 탐색

This study is an effort to propose a strategy for developing the instructional materials for the supplement course, based on the analysis of the learner`s error responses. It is needless to say that the materials for the supplement course is essential for successful implementation of the 7th curriculum, so called `Differentiated curriculum`. But those materials have not been supplied relevantly either by the level of government or by the textbook publishers. And the significance of the learner`s errors in learning and thinking has been underestimated theoretically and practically. Considering that the learner`s errors give a lot of information about the learner`s present cognitive structure and level, the instructional materials must be linked with the learner`s errors. In order to develop some mathematics materials for the 7th grade, the learner`s error responses are collected by the `think aloud method, content analysis, in-depth interviews. The characteristics and the types of the errors are discriminated and interpreted in detail. And then, the exemplary materials are devised, which make the learners confront their deficits, and finally overcome their errors. The procedures and the results of this study are expected to give practical implications to research and development of the instructional materials in the other subject areas as well.

조선 시대 신분변화에 따른 헤어스타일 연구: 사극드라마 ‘장옥정 사랑에 살다’를 중심으로

사극드라마는 그 시대의 특정한 시대와 사회의 문화 뿐 만 아니라, 등장인물의 메이크업, 헤어스타일, 복식, 장신구 등을 통해 그 당시의 미용문화를 엿볼 수 있는 유용한 수단이라고 할 수 있다. 조선시대는 엄격한 신분사회로 신분마다 다른 헤어스타일을 연출한다. 드라마 ‘장옥정 사랑에 살다’ 중에서 장옥정은 반천민 신분에서 여성의 신분 중 가장 높은 계급은 왕후까지 올랐다가 폐위되어 죄인이 되기까지 파란만장한 인생을 살았던 인물로, 자신의 주장과 매력을 겸비한 여성이었기 논문 주제인물로 선정하였다. 조선시대 신분의 변화에 따른 모든 헤어스타일을 볼 수 있는 인물이다 .이에 본 연구에서는 SBS방송국에서 방영되어진 드라마 ‘장옥정 사랑에 살다’의 캐릭터 중 장옥정의 신분 별 헤어스타일을 연구하였다. 연구를 위해 조선시대와 관련된 학술논문, 학술지 논문, 조선시대 관련서적과 디자인 관련 서적을 참고하였고, 드라마 장옥정의 헤어스타일과 장신구는 SBS영상 자료원을 통해 수집한 시각자료를 바탕으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과 신분사회인 조선시대 숙종의 부인이었던 장옥정은 반천민의 신분부터 왕후에서 죄인이 되기까지 다양한 헤어스타일 변화를 볼 수 있었다. 하지만 ‘장옥정 사랑에 살다‘는 역사적 사실을 고증하기는 하였으나 드라마의 특성상 현대적으로 많이 변화시킨 형태이기에 정확한 고전적 스타일을 보기에는 조금 어려움이 있었다. 본 연구의 결과 조선시대는 신분별 헤어스타일은 엄격히 구분되었는데 주인공 장옥정의 각 신분에 따른 헤어스타일은 본 드라마의 캐릭터와 부합되게 연출하였으며, 조선시대 신분에 따른 헤어스타일에 대한 이해를 도울 수 있는 기초자료를 제공한데 의의가 있다. 향 후 조선시대 뿐 만 아니라 고려, 신라, 백제시대 등 다른 시대의 왕비들의 신분 변화에 관해서도 더 자세한 연구가 이루어지기를 바란다. The historical drama is a useful means to get a glimpse of the beauty culture at that time, such as makeup, hair style, costume, ornaments, etc., as well as the social culture of the specific era. In this paper, I studied Jang Ok-jeong’s hair style changes in order from Danggi, Saeang, Geodumi, Chubzee, Daesu and jjok according to her social status in the drama which was broadcasted on SBS broadcasting station. As a research method, we refer to scholarly articles, journals and books related to the Joseon Dynasty and also books about design. In the drama, Jang Ok-Jeong’s hair style and ornaments were analyzed based on the visual data collected through the SBS Film Resources Center. As a result of this study, Jang Ok-Jeong as the wife of King ‘Sukjong’ during the Joseon Dynasty period, was able to show a variety of changes from the status of low class of person to being a sinner from the queen. However, there is a historical hair style in the drama, but it was a style that made a lot of modern changes for the drama’s character so there was a little difficulty in seeing the historically accurate style. In this research, it is meaningful to analyze the hair style according to the social status of the historical drama based on the Joseon Dynasty period and to let the public know what kind of social status the hair style represents at that time. Also, I hope that future research will lead to the study of hair style according to the change of social status in other era.

Street Fashion plays an important role as an indication of new trends staring point for young people who are fashion-conscious sensitive to changes in fashion. This study aims at: (1) comparing street fashion trends of young women in Korea and Italy by analyzing the characteristics of young people`s fashion in Seoul and Milan between the seasons of Autumn in 2001 to Summer 2002: (2) understanding the way young women create `self-image` through the clothes they wear on the streets. Finally. I expect this study to become a useful source of data for a more detailed analysis of the overall trend of young people`s fashion between the East and West.

Syk-Mediated Suppression of Inflammatory Responses by <i>Cordyceps bassiana</i>

<P>The fruit body of artificially cultivated <I>Cordyceps bassiana</I> has been reported to exhibit anti-inflammatory and anticancer activities. Although it has been suggested that the fruit body has neutraceutic and pharmaceutic biomaterial potential, the exact anti-inflammatory molecular mechanism has not been fully elucidated. In this study, we demonstrated the immunopharmacologic activity of <I>Cordyceps bassiana</I> under <I>in vitro</I> conditions and investigated its anti-inflammatory mechanism. Water extract (Cm-WE) of the fruit body of artificially cultivated <I>Cordyceps bassiana</I> without polysaccharide fractions reduced the expression of the proinflammatory genes cyclooxygenase (COX)-2, interleukin (IL)-12, and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and promoted the expression of the anti-inflammatory gene IL-10 in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-treated RAW264.7 cells. In addition, this fraction suppressed proliferation and interferon (IFN)-<TEX>$ \gamma $</TEX> production in splenic T lymphocytes. Cm-WE blocked the activation of nuclear factor (NF)-<TEX>$ \kappa $</TEX>B and activator protein (AP)-1 and their upstream inflammatory signaling cascades, including Syk, MEK, and JNK. Using kinase assays, Syk was identified as the target enzyme most strongly inhibited by Cm-WE. These results strongly suggest that Cm-WE suppresses inflammatory responses by inhibiting Syk kinase activity, with potential implications for novel neutraceutic and pharmaceutic biomaterials.</P>
