A simple and sensitive extractive spectrophotometric method has been described for the determination of buprenorphine either in raw material or in pharmaceutical formulations. The developed method is based on the formation of a colored ion-pair complex (1 : 1 drug/dye) of buprenorphine and bromocresol green (BCG) in buffer pH 3 and extracting in chloroform. The extracted complex shows absorbance maxima at 415 nm. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range of 1.32-100.81 m g mL-1. The proposed method has been applied successfully for the determination of drug in commercial sublingual tablets and injectable dosage form. No significant interference was observed from the excipients commonly used as pharmaceutical aids with the assay procedure.

Identity - Based Multiple Key Agreement Scheme

In order to protect some important information communicated through an insecure network, a common hidden key must be used. One can produce the common hidden key using key agreement protocols; and this helps to have high security in modern data networks. Today, the designers of public key cryptography protocols try to set the public identity of a system`s users (like their email addresses) as their public key. This not only makes a cryptographic protocol more efficient but also decreases its cost. These protocols are called "identity - based ". In this article, an identity - based multiple key agreement scheme will be presented; this scheme uses the challenge - response method to do the verification. While the number of random values produced in our scheme is the same as other schemes, the number of keys generated in this scheme is much more than what many other key agreement schemes produce,. Therefore, we will have less computational complexities campered with other schems. In this paper, we consider the security of our scheme and consequently,we will show that it satisfies many security conditions such as strong security.

Objective The standard approach for recurrent ovarian cancer is laparotomy. In this video, we present a cytoreductive surgery using the robotic Xi platform to remove a 2.7 cm pericaval tumor. Methods A narrative video demonstration of robotic-assisted surgery to remove recurrent ovarian cancer in a pericaval lymph node. A 62-year-old female presented with recurrent carcinoma of the pericaval lymph node. After 40 months of surveillance, the patient was asymptomatic, but a computed tomography (CT) scan showed an isolated mass (2.7×2.3 cm) in the right pericaval lymph node. Her cancer antigen (CA)-125 level increased from 26 to 46 U/mL. The robotic Xi platform was used to remove the metastatic lymph nodes. The first step was diagnostic laparoscopy. The second step was robotic port placement below the umbilicus. The third step was dissection and identification of landmarks, and the last step was removal of the tumor and closure. Results The metastatic lymph nodes were removed. The patient was discharged on postoperative day 1 and had no postoperative complications. Her CA-125 level dropped to 17 U/mL two weeks after surgery. Pathology showed metastatic high-grade serous carcinoma in one lymph node, consistent with the patient’s known primary. Two additional lymph nodes were removed and negative for carcinoma. Pelvic washings were negative for malignancy. Conclusion Robotic-assisted surgery is safe and feasible in selected patients with isolated recurrent disease.

This study investigates the effects of coal feeders position and coal feeding rate on particle transport hydrodynamics and coal combustion in an industrial scale circulating fluidized bed furnace using Dense Discrete Phase Model (DDPM) of ANSYS FLUENT. Several user defined functions (UDF) were used to extend ANSYS FLUENT original code. Results of two different coal feeders positions and coal feeding rates were displayed and compared with operating data obtained from a 340 MWe CFB boiler located in Yeosu, South Korea.
Semi-asymptotic non-expansive actions of semi-topological semigroups

In this paper we extend Takahashi's fixed point theorem on discrete semigroups to general semi-topological semigroups. Next we define the semi-asymptotic non-expansive action of semi-topological semigroups to give a partial affirmative answer to an open problem raised by A.T-M. Lau.
EMERGING MARKETS: WHERE IS THE BENEFIT OF DIVERSIFICATION?

A number of studies provide evidence that diversifying into emerging equity markets provides benefits to portfolio investors. Our findings, however, document that such benefits are not present for all emerging markets across time. We show that adding emerging market equities to the reference U.S. portfolio in one subperiod slightly improves the portfolio performance, but it worsens it in other subperiods. This study suggests that different time frames are likely to yield different outcome when diversifying into emerging markets.

Treatment of a solution of CuCl2 in dimethyl phosphate (DMP) with DMSO under nitrogen atmosphere afforded to a light blue fluorescence powder. Slow evaporation of H2O-DMSO solution of this powder resulted in blue-sky crystals of a new polymeric Cu(II) complex, with a unit cell composed of Cu2(DMP)4(DMSO), (1). The crystal and molecular structure of the complex acquired crystallographically. Compound (1) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 12.8920(11) Å, b = 13.1966(11) Å, c = 14.7926(13) Å, = 90o, = 98.943(2)o, = 90o, V= 2486.1(4) Å3, and Z = 4. A square pyramidal environment for the metal center was established by coordination of oxygen atoms of four bridging DMP ligands in the basal positions and binding a tri-centered oxygen atom of DMSO in the apical disposition of Cu(II). The sixth position was also affected by a weak interaction with the sulfur atom of another DMSO. The phosphorous atom in the bridging DMP was arranged in a deformed tetrahedron with (gg) conformation for methyl esters with C2v symmetry.
