      • ESPI 기법을 이용한 폴더식 정보 통신기기의 힌지부 내구 수명 평가

        Folder type electronic devices have hinge to support the rotational motion of folder. This hinge is stressed by the rotational inertia moment of folder at the maximum open limit position of folder. This stress is repeated whenever the folder is open, and it is a cause of hinge fracture. In this paper, the reliability evaluation for the hinge fracture in the folder type cellular phone is discussed. For this, the durability testing machine using crack-rocker mechanism is developed to evaluate the life cycle of the hinge, and the degradation after repetitions of opening and shutting is evaluated from the deformation around the hinge, where the deformation is measured by ESPI (electronic speckle pattern interferometer). Experimental results showed that ESPI was able to measure the deformation of hinge precisely, so we could monitor the change of deformation around the hinge as the repetition number of folder open is increased.

        There are two ways in surveying distance, Direct Method and Indirect Method. In our Direct Chaining Surveying, we compared the degrees of accuracy, of chaining up and down Hill shown at various levels of slope 5˚, 10˚, 15˚, 20˚, 25˚ using Eslone tape. 1.Between 5˚ and 25˚ the accuracy of chaining up Hill marks about 1/1,300-1/540, while the accuracy chaining downs Hill marks about 1/340-1/700. and these accuracies change in a straight line. 2.The accuracy of chaining down Hill is higher than that of chaining up Hill. 3.At steep slope above 30˚ the accuracy of chaining up Hill shows almost the same as that of Stadia surveying.

        A case of warfarin sodium-induced intramural hematoma and upper gastrointestinal bleeding is described, and the literature on this adverse effect is reviewed. A 83-year-old woman who has been receiving warfarin came to a emergency room because of hematemesis. She had a history of cerebral infarction. Physical examination was anemic conjunctiva, no abdominal mass and melena. The emergency gastroscopic finding was submucosal mass. Her hemoglobin and hematocrit concentration had falled to 6.7g/㎗ and 20%, Her prothrombin time (PT) was 130 sec and partial prothrombin time (aPTT) was 133 sec. The patient underwent an emergency exploratory laparotomy. The name of operation was hemigastrectomy with gastrojejunostomy(Billorth-Ⅱ). The pathology report indicated the presence of submucosal hematoma formation with mucosal ischemic necrosis and mucosal ulceration and regenerating epithelium.

        Two kinds of simple active oscillators are proposed and analyzed assuming that operational amplifier has two-poles frequency characteristics. The first circuit is composed of one operational amplifier, one resistor and one grounded capacitor. The second oscillator is realized with one operational amplifier and three resitors. Proposed oscillators have the low sensitivity of the oscillation frequency for little variations of the passive element values. By the experimental results obtained with Op-Amp.?A741, the simple oscillators can be useful for the frequency range 1.25 KHz≤f? ≤400KHz for the active -R ocillator, and it is shown to transform the active-R oscillator circuit into the voltage controlled type.Therefore, two kinds of oscillators circuit are attractive for the IC realization, because they hve one operational amplifier, one resistor and one grounded capacitor, or three resistors.

        진행 위암환자에서 Lymphokine-Activated Killer (LAK) 활성의 저하

        Natural killer(NK) and lymphokine-activated killer(LAK) activities were determined in 31 patients with unresectable stomach cancer before and immediately after chemotherapy with 5-fluorouracil, adriamycin and mitomycin C(FAM) and 31 healthy volunteers. The major purposes of the study were focused on whether peripheral blood lymphocytes(PBL) in stomach cancer patients had a similar ability in the generation of LAK activity to those in healthy volunteers and what the effect was of chemotherapy with FAM on the generation of LAK activity. LAK cells were generated in vitro by culturing human PBL with 100 U/㎖ of recombinant human interleukin-2(rH-IL-2) for 72 hours. K562(human myelogenous leukemia cell line) and MKN-45(human stomach adenocarcinoma cell line) were used as target cells for NK and LAK activities. NK activity against K562, a sensitive line, was significantly depressed in patients with stomach cancer compared with that in healthy volunteers(p<0.01). However, LAK activity against K562 was similar to that of the controls. Age, sex and performance status(ECOG 0-2 and 3-4) did not have an influence on both NK and LAK activities. LAK activity was significantly higher than NK activity, either against K562 or MKN-45, in both healthy volunteers and patients with stomach cancer(p<0.001). NK and LAK activities against MKN-45, a NK-resistant line, in patients with stomach cancer showed significantly lower levels than those in healthy volunteers. We also analyzed the effect of chemotherapy with FAM on NK and LAK activities, with no suppression of NK and LAK activities being observed. In this study, we have demonstrated that PBL of stomach cancer have a reduced ability to generate LAK activity in response to rH-IL-2. However, LAK activity generated from PBL receiving chemotherapy with FAM was similar to that of PBL without chemotherapy.

      • 위암세포주에서 Recombinant Human Interferon-r와 Adriamycin의 투여순서가 항암효과에 미치는 영향

        Numerous previous studies, both in vitro and in vivo, have demonstrated that the cytotoxicity can be enhanced by the combination of chemotherapeutic agent and interferons(IFNs) in various types of cancer cells. We have previously reported that combined treatment of MKN-45, human gastric adenocarcinoma cells, with adriamycin(ADM) and recombinant human interferon-r(rh-IFN-r) increased in the cytotoxicity. In this study, the effects of combination timing of rh-IFN-r and ADM on the cytotoxicity against MKN-45 were investigated using MTT assay. MKN-45 was treated with rh-IFN-r and ADM in vitro on three schedules : Treat A ; rh-IFN-r and ADM were treated simultaneously, Treat B ; rh-IFN-r was treated 24 hours after the treatment with ADM, Treat C ; rh-IFN-r was treated for 72 hours and followed by the treatment with ADM. The survival of MKN -45 was inhibited by ADM dose-dependently. 102 and 103U/ml of rh-IFN-r significantly inhibited the survival of MKN-45(% survival : 35.1 ±-1.2% and 34.4 ±1.1% in Treat A and 42.5 ± 2.1% and 45.9-±2.5% in Treat C, respectively). However no difference in the survival was observed between 102 and 103U/ml of rh-IFN-r. Combined treatment with rh-IFN-r and ADM significantly augmented the cytotoxicity at low concentrations of ADM. Combined effects of rh-IFN-r and ADM were evaluated using IC30(,ag/ml) to ADM. IC30s of MKN-45 in Treat A, B and C at 102 U/ml of rh -IFN-r _ were 0.019 -?- 0.003, 0.045 :I:0.001 and 0.054 ± 0.012, respectively, while IC30 of MKN-45 treated with ADM alone was 0.052±0.004. IC30s of MKN-45 in ADM alone group, Treat A, Treat B and Treat C at 103U/ml of rh-IFN-r were 0.047 ±0.003, 0.004 -±0.001, 0.031 ±0.004 and 0.056 0.008, respectively. These results indicate IC30s of Treat A and B were significantly lower than those of ADM alone(p<0.05) and IC30s of Treat A was significantly lower than those of Treat B(p <0.01). IC30s of Treat C, however, were not different from those of ADM alone. From these results demonstrating that cytotoxic effects were increased by the combination of rh-IFN-r and ADM in the order, Treat A > Treat B> Treat C, it can be concluded that the simultaneous administration of rh-IFN-r and ADM may be the most effective method to combine these two therapeutic modalties.

        비복근건 부분절단술을 통한 종아리성형술

        A muscular calf is esthetically unappealing in Asian women. Treatment by liposuction alone has poroven to be difficult due to a small amount of fat. We established a new method of transecting half of the gastrocnemius tendon in order to improve the contour of the calf. Thirty-five patients were operated on during the past 3 years. The medial or lateral half of the gastrocnemius tendon was cut using an endoscopic-guided 3M AGEE blade through a 1cm-sized incision. The portion of the muscle above the site of the transection was elevated from the underlying soleus muscles. We checked the calf circumference and evaluated the clinical results at 6 months postoperatively. An average 10% reduction in calf circumfernce was measured, showing a significant esthetic improvement. There were no significant changes in gait analysis or in the Cybex test. There were no specific complications related to the procedure. Through our clinical experience in 35 cases, we were able to prove that tenotomy is a effective, simple and easy method without severe morbidity.

        벼 밭재배에 따른 수량 및 미질

        벼 밭재배시 논벼 품종들의 적응성을 검토하기 위하여 마늘 간작으로 벼를 건답점파하여 재배한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 입모율은 밭벼에 비해 논벼 품종이 낮았는데 그 순서는 상남밭벼〉동진찰벼〉신선찰벼〉진부찰벼 순이었다. 2. 출수기는 상남밭벼에 비해 진부찰벼는 3일 빨랐고 신선찰벼는 9일, 동진찰벼는 12일이 늦었다. 3. ㎡당 수수와 등숙비율은 밭벼에 비해 논벼품종들이 높았다. 4. 쌀수량은 상남밭벼에 비해 신선찰벼는 12%가 많았고 동진찰벼는 같았으며, 진부찰벼는 18%가 적었다. 5. 완전립비율은 진부찰벼에서 높았고 그 외는 비슷하였으며, 식미지수는 상남밭벼에 비해 동진찰벼는 높았으나 진주찰벼와 신선찰벼는 낮았다. To identify the rice varieties adaptable for upland cultivation, a series of experiments was carried out at the field(Chonnam series) of the Muan. Cheonnam province during 1999 - 2001. Four varieties, Jinbuchalbyeo(early-maturing variety), Sinseonchalbyeo (medium-maturing variety), Dongjinchalbyeo(medium-late maturing variety), and Sangnambatbyeo as a standard variety for upland were used in this experiment. Seedling establishment of the varieties was the highest in Sangnambatbyeo and followed by Dongjinchalbyeo under upland condition. Heading date in general delayed ranges from 9 to 12 days, while early-maturing variety, Jinbuchalbyeo was faster for 3 days compared with Sangnambatbyeo. Number of panicle per square meter was similar in both lowland and upland rice but percentage of ripened grain was high in lowland rice. Milled rice yield was high as of 12% in Sinseonchalbyeo compared with Sangnambatbyeo. Head rice ratio showed also the highest in Sinseonchalbyeo. The results indicate that Sinseonchalbyeo as glutinous rice variety could adapt well in this upland condition, and have good milling recovery as head rice as well as yield advantage.

        간척지 중염답에서 유수형성기 염처리에 따른 벼 생육 및 수량 변화

        본 연구는 새계화벼를 공시하여 간척지 중염답(0.3~0.4%)에서 관개수 염농도에 따른 생육 및 수량성을 검토하고자 유수형성기에 5일간 염수를 처리하여 시험한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 관개수 염분농도가 높을수록 벼 출수는 1~2일 지연되었고, 출수기 지상부건물중은 가벼워졌다. 2. 간장과 수장은 관개수 염분농도가 높을수록 짧아졌다. 3. 관개수 염분농도가 높을수록 수당 립수가 적어 ㎡당 립수가 적었으며, 등숙비율이 낮고 현미 천립중이 가벼워, 쌀 수량은 민물 관개(무처리)의 330㎏/10a에 비해 관개수 염분농도 0.1%는 94%, 0.3%는 85%, 0.5%는 76%, 0.7%는 71%의 수량을 얻었다. 4. 관개수 염분농도가 높을수록 완전립 비율은 낮아졌다. 따라서 간척지에서 중염도 토양(0.3~0.4%)에서 벼를 재배하여 유수형성기에 한발이 닥쳐 저류지 등 염분 농도 0.7%의 물로 5일간 담수하여도 쌀 수량은 29% 정도 감수되고 쌀의 품위도 저하되지만 어느 정도 수량은 얻을 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. This experiment was conducted at the Kyehwado Substation of the National Honam Agricultural Experiment Station(NHAES) RDA, Korea. The experimental field contained 0.38% NaCl in soil solution. The experiment was involved five treatments (control, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7%) in a randomized complete block design with three replicates, saline solution was applied only one time at panicle formation stage for 5 days. Saegyehwabyeo, a japonica rice variety was used in this experiment. In yield components, Spikelets number per ㎡ decreased with increasing salinity level, particularly in the 0.7% of saline solution water. This factor affected the most yield reduction among the components. The percentage of ripened grain was inclined to decrease with increasing salinity level. 1,000 grain weight decreased with increasing salinity level but it was lest affected by salinity among yield components. The reduction of milled rice yield decreased significantly with increased saline water level, in detail 6% of yield reduction at the 0.1% saline solution, 15% at the 0.3%, 24% at the 0.5%, and 29% at the 0.7% saline solution level compared with control respectively. Results indicate that the gaining of rice yield could be reliable performance in terms of economical benefit for rice production even though high reduction of yield occurred at high salinity levels on a reclaimed saline soil in Korea.

        광중합기의 광원에 따른 브라켓 전단결합강도 비교

        제논 플라즈마 아크 광중합기나 LED 광중합기가 치과영역에 소개된 이후로 기존의 텅스텐 할로겐 광중합기를 사용할 때에 비해 교정장치의 부착시간이 현저하게 줄어들 수 있게 되었다. 제논 플라즈마 아크 광중합기에 대한 중합시간과 전단강도에 대해서는 여러 연구가 있어왔던 반면, LED 광중합기를 이용하여 교정용장치의 부착을 위한 중합시간에 대한 연구는 미진하다. 본 연구의 목적은 LED 광중합기의 중합시간에 따른 결합강도를 플라즈마 아크 광중합기와 비교하여 적절한 브라켓의 부착강도를 얻기 위해 요구되는 중합시간을 알아보는데 있다. 120개의 발치된 사람의 소구치에 컴포짓 레진으로 브라켓을 부착시킨 후 4초, 6초, 8초 동안 플라즈마 아크 광원과 LED 광원으로 각각 중합시켰다. 그 후 결합강도를 만능시험기(Universal Testing Machine)로 계측한 결과, 플라즈마 아크 광중합기에서는 4초 이상에서, LED 광중합기에서는 8초 이상의 중합시간에서 기존의 할로겐 광원을 40초간 노출시켰을 때와 비슷한 전단결합강도를 나타내었다. 플라즈마 아크 광중합기와 LED 광중합기의 중합시간이 접착제 잔류지수(adhesive remnant index) 수치에 대해 영향을 미치지 않았다. With the introduction of the xenon plasma arc curing light and the LED curing light as orthodontic curing lights, the polymerizing time of orthodontic composites has clearly decreased. In contrast to various research cases regarding the polymerization time and bond strength of the xenon plasma arc curing light, not enough research exists on the LED curing light, including the appropriate polymerization time. The objective of this research was to compare the bond strength of the plasma curing light and the LED curing light in regards to the polymerization time. The polymerization time needed to achieve an appropriate adhesion strength of the bracket has also been studied. After applying orthodontic brackets using composite resin onto 120 human premolars, the plasma arc curing light and the LED curing light were used for polymerization for 4, 6, and 8 seconds accordingly. This research proved that the LED curing light provided appropriate bond strength for mounting orthodontic brackets even with short seconds of polymerization. The expensive cost and large size of the device limits the use of the plasma arc curing light, whereas the low cost and easy handling of the LED curing light may lead to greater use in orthodontics.
