Servoed modulation slope FM/CW radio altimeter system performances, loop time constant and doppler shift compensation, are analyzed. The loop time constant has very low value which can be neglected. The doppler shift compensation is achieved in the output circuit of the period-to-voltage converter by sampling process.

可變抵抗다이오우드의 찌그러짐을 Volterra급수전개를 利用하여 解析하였다. 可變抵抗다이오우드의 intermodulation distortion에 對한 理論的 表現式을 유도하고, 實驗으로써 그 타당성을 입증하였다. 特히 2개의 다이오우드를 접속할 경우에 對한 찌그러짐을 解析하였으며, 다이오우드의 back-to-back 접속에 의한 찌그러짐의 현저한 減少가 나타남을 알았다.

An analysis of amplitude-comparison lane multiplexing double sum-and-difference system using single channel IF amplifier is made in an attempt to specify the effects certain parameters have on system performance. The pattern of an antenna was discribed by a sinusoidal function for the convenience of analysis. The angle error detection curve has a tangential characteristic from the effect of automatic gain control system in the non-saturated region of the IF amplifier. Post-comparator phase shifts and voltage unbalance have an effect on the slope of the angle error detection curve. The effects of pre-comparator phase shifts are cancelled out in double sum-and-difference system. Only pre-comparator voltage unbalance results in a change of boresight indication. To complete the evaluation, the parameters which affect the receiving equipment performance have also been developed. Equations describing the performance of the system have been derived and system evaluation curves have been plotted using these equations.
