Influence of EU-Russian sanctions and oil price on Danish trade
Kseniia Skogstad Larsen 인하대학교 정석물류통상연구원 2022 JOURNAL OF INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS AND TRADE Vol.20 No.2
Purpose – The article compares the effect of European Union (EU)-Russian sanctions imposed in 2014 with the influence of fluctuating oil prices on Danish trade. Design/methodology/approach – In this paper annual import and export trade data between Denmark and 152 countries from the period 2002–18 were computed in STATA/SE 16.1 using the Gravity model to evaluate the effect of economic sanctions and the price of oil. Findings – Results showed that the impact from the fall of oil price exceeded the negative effect from sanctions on Danish export. Additionally, the analyses suggest that the fall in oil price had a negative effect on Danish import. Even so, Danish import significantly increased due to growth in supplies of energy resources from Russia. Originality/value – This study explains the overlapping effects of EU-Russian sanctions and fluctuating oil prices on Danish trade. This methodology can be expanded to encompass multiple countries using the twosided Gravity model.
Deep Learning Algorithms for Defect Detection using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing Data
Barashok Kseniia,박준필,이재선 한국비파괴검사학회 2023 한국비파괴검사학회지 Vol.43 No.1
Currently, artificial intelligence is increasingly being applied in various fields. Artificial intelligence facilitates the automation of many processes and speed up work. Determining the existence of a defect, its location, size and type are the main tasks solved by nondestructive testing, particularly phased array ultrasonic testing. In this study, deep learning methods were used to determine the existence of defects, and their sizes. Unfortunately, because of the small amount of data, it is impossible to train the neural network to recognize the type of defect. Three neural networks were developed and pretrained to determine the existence of defects. The results of the developed neural networks were compared with those of the TensorFlow library models pretrained using the ImageNet dataset. The developed neural networks show similar performance as the pretrained TensorFlow neural networks.
In planta production and characterization of full-length human adipose triglyceride lipase
Zaikova Kseniia,정진성,김경록,구강모,김정선,이동욱 한국식물생명공학회 2022 Plant biotechnology reports Vol.16 No.6
Adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL) is an enzyme that plays a critical role in the mobilization of stored triacylglycerol. Despite its importance in lipid metabolism, in-depth biochemical characterization of ATGL has been limited because the expression and purifcation of this enzyme are not feasible. In this study, we attempted to generate the full-length human ATGL in Nicotiana benthamiana. The ATGL expressed in N. benthamiana was highly soluble and stable. The purifed ATGL exhibited lipase activity in vitro. In conclusion, the full-length human ATGL could be reliably produced using a plant-based expression system, thereby enabling detailed biochemical characterization of this enzyme.

The reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization of 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoroisopropyl acrylate (HFIPA) in the presence of dibenzyl carbonotrithioate (BTC) was studied. The effect of solvent used in polymerization process on kinetic features and molecular-weight characteristics was shown. It turns out that polymerization of HFIPA proceeds in a control mode at any conditions investigated that is confirmed by linear increase of M n with the rise of conversion and low values of dispersity (Đ= 1.09-1.3). The location of trithiocarbonate group was estimated both quantum-chemical calculation and experimental methods. Copolymerization monomer pairs of HFIPA-acrylic acid and HFIPA-tert-butyl acrylate in the presence of low molecular (BTC) and polymeric chain transfer agent were investigated. Reactivity ratios of monomers was determined by Fineman- Ross and Kelen-Tudos models. The use of polymeric RAFT agent leads to instance of preferential solvation effect and formation of copolymer with gradient microstructure at final conversion.
Formation of the Digital Generation in a Distance Learning Environment
Nataliіa, Levchenko,Nataliia, Sukhostavets,Lesia, Zelman,Alla, Kulichenko,Kseniia, Balabanova International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2022 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.22 No.5
This article is devoted to the study of the process of formation of the digital generation in a distance learning environment. With the introduction of quarantine due to the spread of COVID-19, opponents of digital technologies were forced to turn to relevant resources, while supporters identified new opportunities for the development of didactics and education in general. The irreversibility of the former educational reality became apparent and only the scale of the vision of potential change by interested and disinterested groups differed. Using a comprehensive approach, the authors consider the issues related to the direct and indirect impact of distance learning on children and young people born after the beginning of the XXI century. The article reveals the prerequisites and implications of distance education for the interaction of participants in the educational process. IC technologies during the educational process in the primary grades, in addition to identifying the student's learning deficit, should provide the transmission of non-verbal signals, which are important for children of this age. At the same time in the secondary school IR-technologies are designed to replace frontal learning during the assimilation of knowledge and at the same time not to worsen the quality of the educational process. Formation of students in the HEI takes place in the political science format, constant discussion of problem situations, so the task of introducing IC technology in this process is the accurate transfer of the content of the discussions. Individualization and autonomization of the educational process, its dependence on the results of the choice of educational content, and the use of pedagogical management tools change the philosophy of education for children and youth. The authors conclude that the formation of a digital generation, characterized by an increased level of digital literacy of children and youth, the possession of a certain level of digital capacity requires the use of strategies aimed at optimizing the learning process in a digital educational environment.

In the current conditions of world socio-economic development, the strategic support of the process of managing the development of universities has become a particularly important area. Strategic management requires reliable information and analytical support in the form of sound descriptions of strategic directions of development, assumptions, and forecasts. The purpose of the study is to substantiate and elaborate the crucial causes in the strategic management of university's development and to suggest the coherent prospects for advancements. The data analysis was performed using descriptive methods to identify the most significant causes that affect the university's strategic development; the expert assessment was used to rank the factors, ultimately to assess each factor that affects to some extent the university's strategic development; the abstract-logical method was used to ground the positive impact of computer technologies and e-learning on the strategic development of a university and to formulate proposals for its further progress. The main results provided in the given paper showed that significant and most important strategic cause of university's development lies in the field of improving the quality of education, expanding access to educational services based on computer technology and its functionality. In turn, its widespread use at all stages of the educational process allows providing a number of advancements for universities in strategic prospects.
