<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>We demonstrate a simple solution and room-temperature processed reduced graphene oxide (RGO) as a novel hole-transporting material (HTM) to guarantee highly efficient and highly stable CH<SUB>3</SUB>NH<SUB>3</SUB>PbI<SUB>3</SUB> perovskite solar cells (PeSCs). The effects of RGO HTM are systemically investigated in terms of PeSC efficiency, PeSC stability, morphology of perovskite film, recombination dynamics, and charge-transport through CH<SUB>3</SUB>NH<SUB>3</SUB>PbI<SUB>3</SUB>/HTM interface. The resultant PeSC with a planar configuration of glass/ITO/RGO/CH<SUB>3</SUB>NH<SUB>3</SUB>PbI<SUB>3</SUB>/PC<SUB>61</SUB>BM/bathocuproine (BCP)/Ag exhibits improved device efficiency (maximum PCE of 10.8%) with high reproducibility than those of the reference devices using conventional PEDOT:PSS and GO HTMs. Also, the RGO-based PeSCs show highly desirable device stability in comparison to the PEDOT:PSS PeSCs.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Highly efficient and stable perovskite solar cells are developed using solution and room-temperature processed RGO. </LI> <LI> The resultant PeSC with planar architecture depicts a superior device efficiency (10.8%) to PEDOT:PSS- and GO-based solar cells. </LI> <LI> The use of RGO HTMs with the inherent passivation ability greatly extended the cell-operation time compared to PeSCs with PEDOT:PSS. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
대식세포에서 수련환(茱連丸) 물추출물의 항염증작용에 관한 연구

Objectives : Suryeon-hwan (SRH) exhibits potent anti-inflammatory activity with an unknown mechanism. However, there has been a lack of studies regarding the effects of SRH on the inflammatory activities and effector inflammatory disease mechanism about macrophage before is not known. So, the investigation focused on whether SRH inhibited nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) productions, as well as the expressions of inducible NO synthase (iNOS), cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells. Methods : Cells were treated with 200 ng/mL of LPS 30 min prior to the addition of SRH. Cell viability was measured by MTS assay. The production of nitric oxide (NO) was determined by reacting cultured medium with Griess reagent. The content of level of cytokines (PGE, IL-6) in media from LPS-stimulated Raw 264.7 cells was analyed by ELISA kit. The expression of COX-2, iNOS and MAPKs was investigated by Western blot, RT-PCR. Results : We found that SRH inhibited LPS-induced NO, PGE2 and IL-6 productions as well as the expressions of iNOS and COX-2. Furthermore, SRH suppressed the LPS-induced phosphorylation of MAPK and extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 (ERK 1/2) activation. Conclusions : These results suggest that SRH has inhibitory effects on LPS-induced PGE2, NO, and IL-6 production, as well as the expressions of iNOS and COX-2 in the murine macrophage. These inhibitory effects occur through blockades on the phosphorylation of MAPKs following activation.
요추지주막하-복강 단락술에 관한 고찰 : Review of a Series

The author reviewed a series of 48 patients who underwent lumbo-peritoneal shunt operation at Taegu Catholic University Hospital during recent five years Among them. 10 cases were excluded in this study because of their poor neurologic status which was not adequate to estimate the operative result In our series, lumbo-peritoneal shunt was done in 34 cases of communicating hydrocephalus due to aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage head in jury spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage with/without intraventricular hemorrhage and brain tumor 2 cases of pseudomeningocele and 2 cases of normal pressure hydrocephalus. The results of this review demonstrate clinical improvement in 28 cases(73.7%). 10 cases(26.7%) of no clinical improvement. There were 9 complications including 8 shunt dysfunctions and 1 infection. Among the 8 cases of shunt dysfunction 5 cases showed postoperative early clinical improvement but revealed shunt dysfunction of delayed onset. In conclusion lumbo-peritoneal shunt was considered as a good initial CSF diversion procedure in the treatment of communicating hydrocephalus and pseudomeningocele.

본 연구는 타마린드씨검(Tamarindus indica seed gum, TG)과 에탄올, 폴리올의 반응성 및 산·염기 반응 실험을 기반으로 하여 최종적으로 지지체가 없는 것을 특징으로 하는 새로운 겔 시트 마스크 개발에 관한 것이다. TG와 특정 알코올류를 각각 일정 혼합 비율로 혼합하는 경우, 각 성분과의 반응에 의해 투명한 겔을 형성하므로 이를 이용하여 지지체가 없는 겔 시트 마스크를 얻을 수 있었다. 피부 밝기 개선을 극대화하기 위해 산·염기 반응의 탄산 시스템을 도입하기 위해 산 원료별 함량 실험을 진행하였고, 분광측색계와 수분 측정기기를 이용하여 피부 밝기 및 보습력 평가를 진행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 TG와 에탄올, 폴리올의 수소 결합에 의한 겔화 반응을 기반으로 하여 여러 제형으로의 개발이 가능할 것으로 생각되어, 본 연구에서 소개된 겔 시트 마스크 제형은 우수한 보습력을 부여하므로 향후 새로운 제품 개발에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. This study relates to the development of a new gel sheet mask that finally does not require support based on the reactivity and acid/base reaction experiments of Tamarindus indica seed gum (TG), ethanol, and polyols. When TG and a specific alcohol was mixed at a certain mixing ratio, a transparent gel is formed by reaction with each component, and thus a gel sheet mask without support might be obtained using the mixture. In order to maximize skin tone improvement, a carbonation system of acid and base reactions was introduced, and skin brightness and moisturizing power were evaluated using a spectrophotometer and a moisture measuring device. Through this study, it is expected that the gelation reaction by hydrogen bonding of TG, ethanol, and polyols can be developed into various types, and the gel sheet mask formulation introduced in this study is expected to help develop new products in the future.

As far as FMVSS 201(cockpit module safety regulation) is concerned, the car manufacturer is required to satisfy head impact test on various impact points on the Instrument Panel(IP). The number of impact points may vary from 15 to 20 points or even more, and performing Finite Element(FE) analysis is a cumbersome process when it becomes necessary to simulate multiple impacts. The head impact simulation is a recursive process yet it is manually done by human for each impact, costing time and labor. Works described in this paper show how an automated process can replace manual process, yet can produce reliable and consistent outcomes efficiently.

Objectives: This study was undertaken to evaluate the usefulness of EST in patients with common bille duct stones and obstructive jaundice Methods: Since 1975, 5626 cases of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(E,R.C.P.) were performed at Kwangju Christian Hospital in Kwangju, Korea. From December, 1981 to June, 1994, 1155cases of endoscopic sphincteropapillotomy (E,S.T.) were perfromed. Results: In 1155cases of E.5.T., we have obtained 849cases of common bile duct stone, other cases of obstructive jaundice due to clonorchiasis, ampulla of Vater cancer, pancreas cancer, comon bile duct cancer, 41cases of stones were removed by Dormia basket and balloon catheter under direct visualization, 278cases were passed in stool, 421cases removed by the confirmation of E,R.C.P. or T-tube cholangiography. In 323cases, stones were not removed but the symptoms and laboratory findings were improved. Complications were happended in 37cases. 27cases of bleeding, 6cases of cholangitis, 2cases of peritonitis, one case of acute pancreatitis, one case of perinephric abscess were happened. 31cases of complication were improved by conservative treatment and operation. In other 6cases, 4cases of bleeding and 2case of cholangitis were expired. In 54cases of 5-year follow up after E.S.T we have obtained 32cases of recurrent common bile duct stones, 17cases of pancreatitis, 3cases of cholangitis. The condition under which E.S.T. become difficulty or did not succeed included periampullary diverticula, fibrotic stenosis of ampulla of Vater and stones in the intrahepatic duct or gall bladder. Conclusion: With improved E.S,T. technical maneuverability, we could diminish the frequency of complication including bleeding, pancreatitis and cholangitis and perform E.S.T. successfully in cases with periampullary diverticula. In cases of stones which did not remove after E.S,T., we think that extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy, electrohydrauric lithotripsy, mechanical lithntripsy. laser lithotripsy will be proper management.
