        본 시험은 국내에 도입되기 시작한 AMS에 대하여 설치 동기, 설치 후 우유생산량과우유품질, AMS 설치계기 및 설치 후 만족도, AMS 운영상 애로점 및 건의사항 등을 조사 분석하였다. 설치 계기가 무엇인가에 대한 응답비율은 노동력 부족 44%, 체험목장으로 전환 25%, 소들의 고능력화에 대응 19% 순이었으며 기타 6%였다. AMS 설치농가의 사육경력은 평균 24.9년, 평균 연령은 53.2세로 나타났으며 가족노동력만으로 경영하는 목장이 조사농가의 38%, 고용+자가노동력 형태의 목장이 63%로 나타났다. 목장의 산유능력은 두당 평균 유량은 1일 $30.9{\ell}$, 평균 유지율 3.9%, 세균수는 9.1천개/$m{\ell}$ 수준이었다. 후계자 육성에 대한 질문에 매우 그렇다라고 응답한 비율은 68%였으며, 보통 18%, 아니다와 매우 아니다라고 응답한 비율은 18%로 나타났다. 시스템 운영현황 및 애로사항을 파악하기 위하여 AMS의 프로그램 주운영자에 대한 질문에 본인 44%, 부인 6%, 자녀 또는 후계자사람이 44%, 기타 6%나 되었다. AMS 운영상 가장 어려운 점에 대한 조사결과, 기기 작동 및 복잡한 프로그램 운영이 각각 31%로 가장 많았다. 그 외 기계 에러 및 고장에 대한 애로사항이 25%이였다. 도태원인에 대하여 유방염 28%, 번식장애 20%, 발굽질환 19%, AMS에 부적합한 유두 배열 12%, 분만 후 대사성질병 7%, 노산 등 기타 14%였다. 시스템 설치 후 유지보수 계약 체결유무 및 비용에 대하여 유지보수 계약 56%, 유지 보수 계약 미체결 44%이었다. 유지보수 계약 평균 계약비용은 연간 658만원 정도였다. 시스템 설치 후 항목별 만족도에 대하여 5점 만점에 3.9점이었으며, 노동력 절감 3.7점, 업체의 A/S 3.6점, 산유량 증가 3.2점, 원유의 체세포 수 저감 2.8점이었다. 시스템 설치 시 고려사항 및 건의사항에 대하여 고가의 장비를 효율적으로 사용하기 위하여 젖소의 유방과 유두 배열이 적합하도록 젖소를 선발하는 것, 시스템을 운용할 수 있는 능력, 적합한 환경, 재정적 능력과 부지 확보, 지속적인 관찰 등이 권장되어야 할 것으로 나타났으며, 설치 업체에 대해서는 컨설팅이 체계화될 필요가 가장 높게 나타났으며 이어서 보다 저렴한 설치와 서비스의 체계화를 요구하는 결과를 보였다. The present survey was conducted to provide basic information on automatic milking system (AMS) in relation to purchase motive, milk yield and quality, customer satisfaction, difficulties of operation and customer suggestions, etc. Purchase motives of AMS were insufficient labor (44%), planning of dairy experience farm (25%), better performance of high yield cows (19%) and others (6%), respectively. Average cow performance after using AMS was 30.9l/d for milk yield, 3.9% for milk fat, 9,100/ml for bacterial counts. Sixty-eight percentage of respondents were very positive in response to AMS use for their successors but 18% were negative. The AMS operators were owner (44%), successor (44%), wife (6%) and company worker (6%), respectively. The most difficulty (31%) in using AMS was operating the system and complicated program manual. The rate of response to system error and breakdown was 25%. The reasons for culling cow after using AMS were mastitis (28%), reproduction failure (19%), incorrect teat placement (12%), metabolic disease (7%) and others (14%), respectively. Fifty-six percentages of the respondents made AMS maintenance contract and 44% did not. Average annual cost of the maintenance contract was 6,580,000 won. Average score for AMS satisfaction measurement (1 to 5 range) was 3.2 with decrease of labor cost 3.7, company A/S 3.6, increase of milk yield 3.2 and decrease of somatic cell count 2.8, respectively. Suggestions for the higher efficiency in using AMS were selecting cows with correct udder shape and teat placement, proper environment, capital and land, and attitude for continuous observation. Systematic consulting was highly required for AMS companies followed by low cost for AMS setup and systematization of A/S.

      • Evaluation of brain lesion distribution criteria at disease onset in differentiating MS from NMOSD and MOG-IgG-associated encephalomyelitis

        <P><B>Objectives:</B></P><P>We aimed to evaluate the utility of the recently described brain lesion distribution criteria to differentiate multiple sclerosis (MS) from aquaporin-4 immunoglobulin G-positive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) and myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein immunoglobulin G-associated encephalomyelitis (MOG-EM) at disease onset in an Asian cohort.</P><P><B>Methods:</B></P><P>A total of 214 patients who fulfilled the published criteria for MS, NMOSD, or MOG-EM and underwent brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) within 3 months of disease onset were enrolled. The brain lesion distribution criteria were defined as the presence of a lesion adjacent to the body of the lateral ventricle and in the inferior temporal lobe, or an S-shaped U-fiber lesion, or a Dawson’s finger-type lesion.</P><P><B>Results:</B></P><P>Brain lesions were identified in the initial MRI scans of 166/214 patients. The distribution criteria were applied to these scans (MS (<I>n</I> = 94), NMOSD (<I>n</I> = 64), and MOG-EM (<I>n</I> = 8)). The sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictive values of the criteria for MS versus NMOSD were 79.8%, 87.5%, 90.4%, and 74.7%, and for MS versus MOG-EM these were 79.8%, 100%, 100%, and 29.6%, respectively.</P><P><B>Conclusion:</B></P><P>These findings suggest that the brain lesion distribution criteria are helpful in distinguishing MS from NMOSD and MOG-EM in an Asian population, even at disease onset.</P>

        Characterization of Helicon Plasma by H$_2$ Gas Discharge and Fabrication of Diamond Tinn Films

        Helicon waves were excited by a Nagoya type III antenna in magnetized plasma, and hydrogen and methane are fed through a Mass Flow Controller(MFC). We made a diagnosis of properties of helicon plasma by H$_2$gaseous discharge, and fabricated the diamond thin film. The maximum measured electron density was 1${\times}$10$\^$10/ cm$\^$-3/. Diamond films have been growo on (100) silicon substrate using the helicon plasma chemical vapor deposition. Diamond films were deposited at a pressure of 0.1 Torr, deposition time of 40~80 h, a substrate temperature of 700$^{\circ}C$ and methane concentrations of 0.5~2.5%. The growth characteristics were investigated by means of X-ray Photoelectron (XPS) and X-ray Diffraction(XRD), XRD and XPS analysis revealed that SiC was formed, and finally diamond particles were definitely deposited on it. With increasing deposition time, the thickness and crystallization of the daimond thin film increased, For this system the optimum condition of methane concentration was estimated to near to 1.5%.

        Electric Properties of La-Modified Lead Titanate Thin Films Fabricated by Sol-Gel Processing

        Ferroelectric lead lanthanum titanate (PLT) thin films were fabricated by sol-gel processing and spin-coating on Pt substrates. The electric properties and the microstructure were studied by changing the La content from 18 to 28 mol%. The X-ray diraction patterns showed that the PLT films sintered at 650C for 30 min were crystallized with a stable perovskite structure. The dielectric constant of PLT lms increased with addition of La content up to 21 mol%, and then decreased with La content up to 28 mol% at room temperature. The remanent polarization, coercive eld, and leakage current density of the PLT thin films decreased with increasing La content. The fatigue property did not change significantly as the number of switching cycles was increased.

        Physical properties of NiCl2 coated protein chip plates

        Protein chips are not as well established as DNA chips. Compared with DNA chip fabrication, protein chip construction is more difficult. Nickel chloride coated protein chip plates have been developed using a spin coating system. Water and alcohol have been used as solvent and multilayer effects on each specimen have been investigated. In order to fabricate a proper platform for the protein chip, we examined the efficiency and level of protein absorption to the slide in various coating condition. It was found that the multilayer effects with high concentration of NiCl2 film relatively increase the adhesive capability since the density of nickel ion per unit area of the glass slide increases as multilayer is used. The protein adsorption is decreased by the low concentration, holes and cracks created by a single layer coating observed in the SEM images.

        Electrical Properties of Lead Magnesium Tantalate-Lead Zirconate Perovskite Ferroelectrics

        The dielectric and the relaxor properties of solid-solution (1-x)Pb(Mg1=3Ta2=3)O3-xPbZrO3 were studied as functions of PbZrO3, and the stability of the perovskite phase was studied as a function of the sintering temperature. The dielectric constant and the spontaneous polarization of poled samples were measured. The addition of PbZrO3 aects the phase transitions of the Pb(Mg1=3Ta2=3)O3 system, and the transition temperature is continuously shifted to higher temperature by adding a small amount of PbZrO3. Composite materials with the perovskite structure have been identied to have a high dielectric constant and spontaneous polarization. The value of the diuseness parameter decreased as the amount of PbZrO3 increased, indicating a less broad phase transition. Compositions with PbZrO3 in the range 0.1 x 0.6 also showed a diuse phase transition.

      • Laparoscopic surgical management of localized recurrent ovarin cancer

        목적: To assess surgical outcomes of laparoscopic secondary or tertiary cytoreduction in carefully selected patients with localized or isolated recurred epithelial ovarian cancer. 방법: This is a retrospective analysis of 13 patients with recurrent ovarian cancer undergoing secondary or tertiary cytoreduction by laparoscopic surgery between July 2009 and December 2013. We analyzed patients characteristics including age, BMI, initial stage, histology and grade, and investigate surgical outcomes such as operative time, recurred mass size, blood loss, length of hospital stay, complications, and disease free survival time. 결과: Of 13 patients recruited for laparoscopic secondary or tertiary cytoreduction with isolated recurred epithelial ovarian cancer, 3 patients had stage I disease, 2 patients had stage II disease and 8 patients had stage III disease at the time of their initial diagnosis. 8 patients (61.5%) underwent secondary laparoscopic cytoreduction, and 5 patients (38.5%) underwent tertiary laparoscopic cytoruduction. Median mass size was 23.9 ± 9.7 mm. The median operating time was 104.9 ± 38.9 min, and the estimated blood loss (EBL) was 135.4 ± 126.6 ml. The median hospital stay was 5.8 ± 3.1 days. One patient had intraoperative complication, who was inserted right ureteral stent due to right ureteral injury during tumor dissection. No postoperative complications occurred. The median progression-free survival was 21 month. 결론: Our study demonstrates that in carefully selected patients with recurrent epithelial ovarian cancer, laparoscopic approach is feasible and safe, and adjuvant treatment may be performed more quickly due to rapid recovery.
