사회과 수업에서 동물복지 학습을 통한 민주시민성 함양에 관한 연구

Cruelty to animal has caused a risk that you can go to the disregard for human life. Although the interest in animal welfare is raised, students have not learned animal welfare in school civic education in Korea. This study proposed the application of the social studies class to cultivate respect for life, caring of others, empathy, etc. through the learning of animal welfare. The subject of animal welfare learning can increase the learner``s motivation because it is always in contact with animals from the day-to-day, the learner has to get an attitude of animal welfare and reflective thinking in the process of solving the problem of animal abuse faced in life. Respect for life through the study of animal welfare can be uplifting to the human dignity and human rights, students can cultivate the attitude of respect and consideration for others`` positions, and empathy for the pain. It is necessary that we have to apply the animal welfare learning which is good for cultivation of respect for life, humane rights, tolerance, accountability to the social studies education whose aim is to foster democratic citizenship.
열화상 등온선 기반 객체 구분과 온도 인식에 관한 연구

기존에 없던 열화상 카메라의 기능에서 온도가 일정 수준 이상인 지점을 여러 지점 표시하는 알고리즘을 추가하였다. 또한 산업 현장뿐만 아니라 이번에 발생한 신종 플루도 감지하기 위해서 열을 통해 사람을 구분하는 방법을 추가하였다.
사회과 교육에서 데이터 시각화를 통한 데이터 리터러시 함양: 2015 교육과정 중, 고등학교 사회 교과서 내용 분석을 중심으로

디지털 시대를 맞아 데이터에 대한 관심이 높아지는 시점에 사회과 교육을 통한 데이터 리터러시 함양은 필요하다. 사회과 교육에서 데이터 리터러시 교육의 교수-학습 실태를 파악하기 위해서는 교과서 내용을 분석할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 사회과 교육에서 데이터 리터러시 함양을 위해 2015 교육과정 중, 고등학교 사회 교과서의 데이터 시각화 내용 분석을 중심으로 탐색해 보았다. 이 연구에서 확인하였듯이, 2015 교육과정중, 고등학교 사회 교과서에서 데이터 시각화의 분포가 단계적이고 체계적이지 못하여, 학생들이 데이터 시각화 이해에 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 학생들이 데이터 시각화를 더 잘 이해하고 활용하도록 사회과 연구, 교사 교육 및 교실 수업에서 데이터 리터러시를 중시해야 한다. 데이터 시각화를 통한 데이터 리터러시 함양을 위해 사회과 교육과정과 교과서 및 교육 실천에서 필요한 논의와 과제가 무엇인가를 밝혀주는 더 많은 연구들이 후속 연구로 필요할 것이다. In the digital age, when the interest in data increases, it is necessary to cultivate data literacy through social studies. In order to grasp the teaching-learning status of data literacy education in social studies education, it is necessary to analyze textbook contents. Therefore, this study explored the data visualization contents analysis of 2015 high school social textbooks in order to cultivate data literacy in social studies. As confirmed by this study, the distribution of data visualizations in high school social textbooks in 2015 was not staged and systematic, which made it difficult for students to understand data visualizations. Emphasis should be placed on data literacy in social studies, teacher education, and classroom instruction to help students better understand and use data visualization. Further research will be needed to clarify what discussions and challenges are needed in social studies curriculum, textbooks and educational practice for data literacy through data visualization.
캄보디아의 한류와 한국드라마에 대한 인식에 관한 연구 -스바이리엥 주의 고등학생과 대학생을 중심으로-

The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status and characteristics of the Korean Wave in Cambodia based on the perceptions of high school students and college students. The Korean Wave is defined as: Korean TV dramas, movies, and K-pop. The research method was based on a Cambodian questionnaire survey and interview. According to the survey, students have a good feeling about the Korean Wave, they like Korean dramas and K-pop, and they recognize that Korean dramas are appealing in terms of content, materials, dramatic stories, characters, and production technology. Along with the good effects of the Korean Wave, a negative was seen: TV shows were criticized for being too sensational and out of touch with Cambodia. We look forward to revitalizing research on the Korean Wave in Cambodia which has been relatively neglected among Southeast Asian countries.
기름 유출 사고 시 효율적인 유 처리제 분사를 위한 기름-물 계면에서의 액적 거동 분석

To eliminate oil layer floating on the ocean derived from crude oil ship’s leak, there are a lot of methods such as oil fence, petroleum sorbents, spraying emulsifier. Many researchers investigated about eliminating oil layer mainly focused on how to increase chemical reaction speed, surface area, etc. However, there is little research about analyzing physical phenomena for oil based on fluid dynamics. In this study, we investigated oil droplet dynamics and analyzed following the condition oil droplet impact onto liquid layer by changing falling height, oil layer thickness, droplet size. These droplet dynamics including coalescence, crown, Worthington jet, cavity, bouncing that can be observed when the droplet impact on the liquid surfaces. We also compared the tendency of droplet impact about pure water layer and oil-water layer. The results showed that the height of cavity and Worthington jet are high in order of pure water layer, thin oil layer on bulk water, thick oil layer on bulk water. In addition, when the oil layer on bulk water is thick, the width of Worthington jet is wider than when the oil layer on bulk water is thin. We expect this study can be applied to find out the efficient ways spraying oil dispersant and eliminating oil layer in real circumstances ultimately.
초기 신약개발 단계에서의 신약후보물질 최적화를 위한 물성 스크리닝 방법 검증 및 프로파일링

Drug-like properties based on physicochemical properties are important to confer good ADME/PK char-acteristics for sufficiently effective efficacy and safety on preclinical and clinical trials. Therefore, accurate estimation and optimization of physicochemical properties such as ionization constant, lipophilicity, permeability, and solubility are import-ant factors for pharmacokinetic properties including clearance, half-life, bioavailability, drug-drug interactions. This study was performed to validate screening method of physicochemical properties. The commercially available drugs were used to validate analytical method system of physicochemical properties and experimental values were compared with literature values and in silico predictions. The experimental pKa values were in very good accordance with literature values in both case of pKa PRO (r² = 0.82) and GLpKa (r² = 0.87). Experimental values and in silico predictions of lipophilicity were also in very good accordance with literature values (r² > 0.82). Experimental physicochemical values of KR-62980 as a new drug candidate showed similar values to in silico predictions. Finally, screenings of physicochemical properties can be applied well and this result may cause lowering cost and accelerating screening speed for the integration of ADME/PK screening data in early stage of new drug discovery.

In pharmacotherapy, drugs are often taken with other drugs to overcome the disease. Due to an increase in the elderly population and chronic diseases, the combinational co-administering method of drugs is increasing, and the importance of drug interaction evaluation for drug development and clinical application is also increasing. In the case of combination therapy, co-administration of drug may occur drug-drug interactions due to the competition of endogenous proteins such as drug transporter, drug metabolic enzyme, and plasma protein, including direct physicochemical interactions of drugs. Drug metabolism-based drug interactions are representative of drug-drug interactions in clinical cases. Drug metabolism mostly occurs in the liver by cytochrome P450s as representative drug metabolic enzymes. In addition, phase 2 metabolic enzymes such as glucuronidases and sulfotransferases also have a significant effect on metabolism-based drug interactions. Drug-drug interactions can affect drug efficacy and side effects, and in some cases can be life threatening or cause serious side effects. The combination use of drugs is required to be aware of the potential interactions that may occur with co-administration in order to use the drug safely. Therefore, the pharmacist as an expert in medicine must have the relevant knowledge and ability to cope with problems as needed. In this approach, we introduced the recent research trends on drug interactions that can occur based on the metabolism of drugs among these drug interactions, and discussed clinical significance of drug-drug interactions.
