The experimental tie line data were correlated with NRTL model, and the parameters in NRTL model and the calculated values of tie lines were predicted. The plait point were calculated by NRTL model for the ternary systems of pyridine-water with monochlorobenzene, o-xylene and aniline as solvents at 25℃. The selectivity curves in the equilibrium of ternary systems compared with experimental data and values calculated using NRTL model.

The experimental binodal curves and tie lines were determined for solvent-5% KF salt solution-1 propanol systems at 25℃, and those tie line data were used to test thermodynamic consistency. From experimental data of tie line, the parameter estimated using NRTL and the caculated values fo tie line were predicted. The effect of KF salt on liquid-liquid equilibria was also studied.

융비술시 실리콘 고무는 다루기 쉽고 조직 반응이 적어 현대 많이 돌출의 합병증이 생길 수 있다. 저자등은 이러한 실리콘의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 goretex를 사용하여 융비술을 시행하고 비첨에 대해서 자가연골을 이식하여 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었기에 goretex가 안면부 연조직의 증강을 위한 이식재료로 적합하다고 생각되어 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Many different materials have been used to provide augmentation of the nasal dorsum. this include both autogenous and homogenous materials,as well as allografts. Silicone among the artificial materials has been most widely used. The silicone has some advantages and disadvantages. Goretex(expanded polytetra-fluoroethylene) which has widely used in vascular surgery and abdominal surgery can be used for facial soft tissue augmentation. The author presemts 2 cases of nasal augmentaion using goretex with literature review.

The binodal curve for following systems : benzene-water-n-propanol, benzene-5%NaCl salt solution-n-propanol, n-butyl acetate-water-n-propanol, and n-butyl acetate-5%NaCl salt solution-n-propanol were determined at 25℃. From these binodal curves, tie line and plait point were determined. The consistencies of experimental tie line data were tested using Othmer-Tobias and Eisen-Joffe equations. The parameters in the UNIQUAC model and the calculated values of tie line were predicted. the distribution and the selectivity were determined for each salt concentration, and salt effect on ternary system were examined.

Binodal curves for solvent(1)-NaCl salt solution(2)-n-propyl alcohol(3) were measured to predict salts effect on ternary solvent(1)-water(2)-n-propyl alcohol(3) without NaCl salt at 25℃, Tie lines were determined from these bimodal curves, and consistency for these data was tested by correlating with Eisen-Joffe equation. NaCl salt solutions were prepared for 5%, 15%, weight percent respectively. It was assumed that quaternany liquid-liquid equilibria with salt were converted to ternary liquid-liquid equilibria without salt if salt were excluded. The bimodal curves with NaCl salt were compared to bimodal curve without NaCl salt. The parameters in the NRTL model and the calculated values of tie line were predicted. Quaternary distribution curves were determined for each salt concentration and salts effect on ternary system were examined.

Binodal curve and liquid-liquid equilibrium for the system ethyl acetate-water-acetonitrile have been measured at 4℃. From these binodal curves, plait point were determined. The experimental data presented in this paper are correlated in terms of the UNIQUAC and modified UNIQUAC models and the relevant parameters are presented. The consistencies of experimental phase equilibrium data were testes using Eisen-Joffe equation. The selectivity were determined for ethyl acetate-water-acetonitrile at 4℃.

In this paper, we implemented the hangeul tactile recognition system for the Blind. The system is consist of hardware part and software part.The hardware part is consist of a scanner interface image processing system, a electro tactile output device inter and auser interface. The software system consist of pattern learning routine,image processing and character pattern output routine, file management and operation window routine. The 16 by 16 of return electrode is driven by a electro-tacttile device. The recognition experimention distinguished learning beforefrom learning after,after learning the recognition rate is higher than learning before. As a results of experimentation before and after learning,the later is superior to the former. Therefore,if learning is increased, we can take higher recognition rate.

Binodal curves for monochlorobenzene (1) - water (2) -acetonitrile (3) and monochlorobenzene (1) - 5% CaCl₂ salt solution (2) - acetonitrile (3) were determined 25℃, 40℃, 55℃, respectively. From these binodal curves, tie line and plait point were determined. When the temperature in crease, the binodal curve is reduced for monochlorobenzene (1) - water (2) - acetonitrile (3) system but monochlorobenzene (1) - 5% CaCl₂ salt solution (2) - acetonitrile (3) is increased binodal curve. The consistencies of experimental phase equilibrium data were tested using Othmer-Tobias equation. The parameters in the modified UNIQUAC model and the calculated phase equilibrium data were predicted. The distribution were determined for monochlorobenzene (1) - water (2) - acetonitrile (3) and monochlorobenzene (1) - 5% CaCl₂ salt solution (2) - acetonitrile (3) at 25℃, 40℃, 55℃, respectively.

The KF salt solutions were prepared with 5% aqueous solution. The experimental tie-line data were correlated with NRTL and UNIQUAC model, and the parameters and the calculated values of tie-line were predicted. The effect of salt addition on liquid-liquid equilibria was also studied along with increment of salt solution.

Due to the rising cost of energy, new separation processes based on extraction are becoming more attractive than before. Thus, the need for calculating and predicting liquid-liquid equilibria(LLE) compositions has very much increased. The purpose of this study is to determine the binodal curves, tie lines, plait points and selectivity for the temary systems of 1-propanol-water with toluene, ethyl-acetate, 1-butanol, n-hexane and amyl alcohol as solvent and also for the quarternary solvent-NaCl salt solution-1-propanol systems at 25℃.
