It is treated more seriously than ever as the customer requirements are becoming a high-quality and diversification. Among the various elements to affect customers evaluation of automobile quality, BSR(buzz, squeak, rattle noise) are considered to be a mostly contributing factor. Squeak noises in cockpit modules are one of the major concerns mentioned above. Recently, measurements of the BSR noise between the parts that make up the products from the perspective that the structural causes. For structures that make up material has not been any consideration of the BSR noise characteristics. The aim of this study is to clarify the characteristics of noise occurrence in vehicle cockpit module that consist of plastic material after measuring noise by squeak special testing instrument.

CAN (controller area network) is a widely used network protocol standard for the automotive applications connecting ECUs and electric devices with low complexity and low cost. In this paper, we describe the implementation and verification procedure of the first CAN 2.0 A, B, FD integrated IP, CAN-ETRI 2.0, based on Fault-Tolerant Vehicle Processor, ALDEBARAN.

BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: Hydrolyzed formula is often fed to infants with gastrointestinal or immune issues, such as malabsorption or cows milk allergy, because enzymatic treatment has rendered it more digestible and less allergenic than standard cows milk formula (SF). Partially hydrolyzed formula (PHF) should be considered for those infants who are intolerant to extensively hydrolyzed formula. However, there are concerns about the nutritional insufficiencies of PHF. We aimed to evaluate the effects of PHF on the growth and health indicators in infants who were at high-risk of allergic disease and potential candidates for consuming PHF. SUBJECTS/METHODS: A total of 83 infants aged 0–2 mon with a family history of allergies were assigned to consume either PHF or SF until 24 weeks of age. Anthropometric measures were obtained at baseline, 12 weeks, and 24 weeks; blood samples were drawn and evaluated at the end of the study. RESULTS: No significant differences were observed in weight, height, and weight-for-height at any time point in each sex between the PHF and SF groups. At 24 weeks of age, the weight-for-age and height-for-age z-scores of the SF group were higher than those of the PHF group, but there was no significant difference in the weight-for-height z-score. There were no significant differences in levels of white blood cells, hemoglobin, ferritin, protein, albumin, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, eosinophil cationic protein, and immunoglobulin E. CONCLUSIONS: In this study, there were no differences in growth and blood panels between the infants consuming PHF or SF. Therefore, infants who are unable to tolerate SF can be fed PHF without nutritional concerns about growth.

Increasing amount of automotive technological innovation is driving manufactures to strengthen their NVH performance than ever before. To effectively test and evaluate NVH performance of automotive parts many NVH measuring techniques are under development. One of which is testing for BSR noise. BSR is induced by micro-interactions between vibrating automotive parts that cause discomforting noise to the driver. Unlike NVH issues, due to its intermittent behavior of BSR noise, the best approach to manage BSR is to eliminate its source than try to decrease its noise level. The BSR improvement discussed in this paper is about BSR noise becoming apparent after changing the design of child anchor attached to the package tray. Functionally the part had no problem, yet rattle noise had been developed over time. This paper proposes analyzing and eliminating the problematic noise source through experimental study to enhance noise performance.

Research for design concept of pyrotechnic separation nut has been carried out prior to design a pyrotechnic separation nut with resettability and reduced pyroshock which may cause damage to surrounding structures. As a reference, previously proposed separation nut design has been investigated and based on the investigation, possible design parameters are determined. Equations of motion for combustion gas and components is derived and analysis framework has been established with those.
