영어 읽기 시험의 문항 유형별 읽기 시험 수행 전략 사용 연구

본 연구의 목적은 수능 시험의 문항 유형별로 학생들이 어떤 읽기 시험수행 전략을 활용하는 지에 대해 조사하고, 또한 이러한 전략 사용이 학습자들의 영어 읽기 수준에 따라 어떻게 달라지는 지에 대해서도 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 105명의 고등학교 3학년생(남자 51명과 여자 54명)을 대상으로 수능 모의고사에서 15문항을 발췌하여 영어 읽기 시험을 실시하였고, 이와 함께 시험 수행 전략을 알아보기 위해 점검표를 함께 제시하여 각 문항을 푼 후 사용한 전략을 표시하도록 하였다. 그 결과 1)전반적으로 학습자들은 핵심 단어 찾기, 연역적 추론, 오답 제거하기 전략을 많이 사용한 반면, 지문 내용과 관계성이 적은 전략은 거의 사용하지 않았다. 2) 문항 유형별로 학습자들이 사용한 전략에는 차이가 있었는데, 이는 문항이 요구하는 측정 능력이 달라짐에 따라 그에 대응하기 위한 적절한 전략을 사용했기 때문으로 보인다. 3) 학습자들의 전략 사용을 영어 읽기 수준별로 살펴본 결과, 모든 수준에서 비슷하게 사용한 전략이 있었던 반면, 수준에 따라 다르게 사용된 전략이 있었는데, 특히상위 수준일수록 인지적 처리 과정으로 요구하는 연역적 추론 전략을 적극적으로 사용한 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 학습자들의 읽기 능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 문항 유형별·학습자의 영어 읽기 능력 수준별 시험수행 전략에 대한 명시적인 훈련이 필요함을 추론해볼 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to examine English reading test-taking strategies EFL learners use depending upon the item types of the test and their reading proficiency levels. For this study, 105 high school students (51 male and 54 female) were asked to take a mock CSAT and tick the strategies on the checklist they used when solving the test items. The outcomes can be summarized as follows: First, in English reading test the students tended to use the key word searching strategy and the deductive reasoning strategy. Also, they were not quite sure about the answers they chose, so they ticked the uncertainty strategy so often. Some strategies which do not have much to do with the text were rarely chosen for the facilitating strategies. Second, by and large, the students used different strategies when coping with different item types of the test. So when teaching for them to use English reading test-taking strategies explicitly, item types of the test need to be taken into account for their better achievement in the test. Finally, the strategy used frequently in all three levels(high, middle, and low) was the elimination strategy. The test situation where the students were expected to solve many question within limited time seemed to urge them to eliminate wrong answers in order to reduce cognitive burden to choose the right answer.
재활용 PET병 입자를 배지재료로 이용한 토마토 플러그묘의 재배

본 연구는 재활용 PET-Bottle-Particles(PBT)가 함유된 4가지 생육배지를 이용하여 플러그묘 재배의 가능성을 실험하기 위해 유리온실에서 수행되었다. 토마토 ‘서광’의 플러그묘를 PBT 100%, peat moss 100%, 그리고 PBT 50%+peat moss 50%가 함유된 배지 및 상업적으로 이용되는 배지(토실이)를 대조구로 이용하여 육묘하였다. 128공 플러그 트레이에서 2004년 7월 12일에 파종하여 플러그묘의 생육은 파종 후 30일째 측정하였다. 모든 처리에서 95% 이상 발아하였다. 초장, 지상부 생체중과 건물중, 엽면적, 그리고 하배축 길이는 대조구에서 가장 컸다. 뿌리 길이와 무게는 PBT 100%처리에서 가장 컸으며, 이 배지의 pH는 7.3이었다. PBT 50%+peat moss 50%처리에서 엽면적과, 지상부 건물중이 PBT 100% 처리에서 보다 컸으며, peat moss 100%처리에서 가장 작았다. PBT를 사용함으로 인한 독성증상은 관찰되지 않았다. 이 결과는 원예 묘종 생산에 있어 배지의 물리성 개선을 위한 구성요소로써 재활용 가능한 PBT의 이용 가능성을 제시해 준다. This study was conducted in a glasshouse to examine the possihility for cultivation of plug seedlings using four growing media containing recycled PET-bottle-particles (PBT) as a medium component. Plug seedlings of 'Seokwang' tomato were grown in media containing 100% PBT, 100% peatmoss, or 50% PBT+50% peatmoss. A commercial plug medium (Tosilee) was used as the control. All seeds were sown in 128 cell plug trays on July 12, 2004. Seedling growth was measured at 30 days after sowing. Percent seed germination was greater than 95% in all treatments. Plant height, shoot fresh and dry weights, leaf area, and hypocotyl length were the greatest in the control treatment. Root length and weight were the greatest in the 100% PBT treatment, which had a medium pH of 7.3. Leaf area and shoot dry weight were greater in the 50% PBT +50% peatmoss treatment than in the 100% PBT treatment, while they were the smallest in the 100% peatmoss treatment. No toxicity symptoms caused by the use of PBT had been observed in any treatment. The results suggest a possibility of recycled PBT, a valuable reusable resource, to be used as a component for medium amendments in horticultural transplant production.
초등 사회과 지리개념의 체계성 분석 - “개념체계도”를 중심으로 -

The purpose of this study is to analyse whether or not geographical concepts in the social studies textbooks, revised by the 2007 Curriculum, from Grades 3, 4 and 6 are organized systematically, using a concept map. For this, based on the understanding of concepts and categorization, basic concepts in geographical education and concept maps, concepts for each topic/theme in the textbooks were categorized and analysed for each type according to the method of concept classification proposed by the NCGE&AAG, NGS and Geography National Curriculum for England. Furthermore, concept maps for each topic/theme were analysed as to which type they pertain to amongst hierarchical, categorical and causal concept maps in terms of the form of description of the relationship between concepts. In connection with the type of concept system and basic geographical concepts, results are as follows. First, concepts related to ‘location’ used the hierarchical description. Second, concepts related to ‘relationships within places’ mostly showed a causal form of description. Third, concepts related to ‘movement’ mostly showed a causal form. Fourth, concepts related to environment generally showed a causal form of description. Fifth, topics/themes related to the concept of ‘geographical enquiry and skills’ demonstrated forms of categorical concept map or hierarchical concept map.
팀 기반 심폐소생술 시뮬레이션 교육을 받은 임상간호사들의 전문직 간 태도 및 교육부담감이 심폐소생 관련 자기효능감에 미치는 영향

Purpose: In-hospital cardiac arrest is rare, but often results in high mortality rates. Early and effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is crucial for survival and nurses are often the first responders. This study aimed to investigate how inter-professional attitudes and educational burdens affect self-efficacy related to CPR performance following team-based CPR simulation training. Methods: This retrospective observational study analyzed data from a satisfaction survey conducted after team-based CPR training sessions between January and November 2022. Of the 454 nurses surveyed, 238 were included in the study after excluding those with ambiguous responses. Multiple regression analysis was performed to assess factors influencing CPR self-efficacy. The factors examined included inter-professional attitudes and educational burden. Results: Higher levels of inter-professional attitudes, particularly regarding teamwork roles and responsibilities, lower educational burden, and a positive perception of CPR competence were all associated with improved CPR-related self-efficacy. Participants who reported higher engagement in teamwork, lower task load, and greater confidence in their CPR abilities demonstrated higher self-efficacy in performing CPR. Conclusion: Enhancing the competencies of nurses who may act as initial responders in CPR situations within or outside hospital settings can help save lives and support public health.
