        Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is a disease that affects young, sexually active, reproductive age women. Most pathogens are Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria Gonorrheae transmitted sexually. One of serious acute complication of PID is tubo-ovarian abscess (TOA) that involves the fallopian tube, ovary and adjacent structures (eg, bowel, pelvic peritoneum). The microbiology of TOAs is polymicrobial with anaerobic organisms and causal organisms of PID. Common anaerobic organisms are Peptostretococcus spp, Bacteriodes spp, Prevotella spp, Escherichia coli and aerobic streptococci. Treatment is necessary to admission for intravenous broad-spectrum antibiotics and surgery is often reserved for patients with suspected rupture or patients who fail to respond to antibiotics. So, we reported this case found pelvic abscess due to ruptured tube-ovarian abscess.

        A case of omental mass during Pregnancy Omental cyst is a rare lesion and occur primarily during childhood and young adulthood. When encountered, most of them are benign and intraabdominal masses. It shows a large mass but not palpable and often asymptomatic. The precise diagnosis is made by most commonly at surgery or during pathologic examination. So, we report this case with brief review of literatures.

        교합면 열구 법랑질의 미세구조 및 산부식 형태

        치면열구전색제의 접착력에 영향을 줄 수 있는 교합면 열구 법랑질의 미세구조 및 산부식 형태, 그리고 산부식 형태에 영향을 줄 수 있는 prismless enamel의 존재 여부 및 법랑질의 화학적 조성을 규명하고자 소구치를 대상으로 협설면과 근원심으로 각각 절단하여 열구내의 법랑질 표면과 산부식 형태를 주사전자현미경으로 관찰하고 EDX를 사용하여 법랑질의 화학적 조성을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 열구내 법랑질은 대부분이 prismless enamel이 존재하였다. 2. 미성숙 영구치와 성숙된 영구치 간의 열구내 법랑질 표면 구조 및 산부식 형태는 차이가 없었다. 3. 열구 법랑질은 부위 에 관계없이 60초 산부식 이 15초, 30초, 45초에 비해 산부식 효과가 가장 켰으며 15초, 30초, 45초의 산부식 시간에서는 적절한 유지력을 얻을 수 있는 산부식 상이 관찰되지 않았다. 4. 열구 법랑질의 표면을 기계적으로 제거한 경우는 30초의 산부식 시간에서도 60초 산부식 시간에 못지않은 전형적 인 산부식 상이 관찰되었다. 5. 산부식 형태는 주로 rod 주위가 소실된 제 2형의 산부식 상이 관찰되었다. 6. 열구 내 법랑질의 부위별 화학적 조성의 차이는 없었으나 미성숙 영구치와 성숙된 영구치 사이의 칼슘/인 비는 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이상의 연구결과를 종합하면 교합면 열구내 법랑질은 대부분 산에 저항성이 큰 prismless enamel로 덮여 있어 기존에 제안된 15-30초의 산부식 시간으로는 적절한 유지력을 얻을 수 있는 산부식 상을 형성할 수 없다는 사실을 알 수 있다. 따라서 기존의 제안된 산부식 시간에 대한 재고가 필요하며 이와 함께 적절한 산부식 상을 얻기 위한 방안으로 산부식 전bur를 사용하여 열구내 법랑질 표면을 제거해 주는 보조적인 술식에 대한 검토가 필요하리 라 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of mechanical and acid treatment on enamel surfaces for the retention of pit and fissure sealants and evaluate the presence of a prismless layer. The etch pattern produced on enamel from immature and mature premolar teeth extracted with varying period of acid etching using 37% phosphoric acid was examined using a scanning electron microscope(SEM). The composition of each groups was evaluated using an energy dispersive x-ray(EDX) spectroscopy. The result of present study can be summarized as follows: 1. Prismless layer was commonly observed on the fissure enamel in young and mature premolar. 2. There were no differences in micro-structure and etching pattern on fissure enamel between the young and the mature premolar. 3. The most effective etching pattern for retention of pit and fissure sealant was observed in 60 seconds of etching time and no apparent difference of etching pattern was found among 15, 30, and 45 seconds of etching time which showed non-retentive etching patterns. 4. The etching pattern obtained by grinding enamel surface with bur followed by 60 seconds of etching was similar to that of 60 seconds of etching without any pretreatment of fissure surface. 5. Type 2 etching pattern was commonly found on fissure enamel in both young and mature premolar. 6. The calcium content and P/Ca ratio in fissure enamel between the young and the mature premolar were significantly different(PK0.05). But content of calcium, phosphate and P/Ca ratio on various regions of fissure enamel in both young and mature premolar did not showed any difference. Based on these results, prismless layer may negatively influence the retention of pit and fissure sealants. 'Therefore, the mechanical removal of the prismless layer by grinding prior to etching or by prolonged etching time of enamel within the fissure system should result in an improved bonding of a pit and fissure sealant.

        Compared to conventional dc motors having the combination of commutators and brushes, a brushless DC (BLDC) motor is one of the highly efficient motors due to its electrical commutation without a brush, and this feature allows the BLDC otor to be more suitable for an application requiring no maintenance due to mechanical wear between a commutator and a brush. Also, the BLDC motor has a few benefits over both a dc motor and an induction motor such as high dynamic response, high efficiency, logn life span, and low noise in wide speed-torque region. This paper investigates the variation of voltage induced in phase windings in a BLDC motor in several cases with respect to stack length, steel grade, and coil material. This study is numerically conducted and it is verified from the theoritical point of view by comparing the result of simulation with that of experimental measurement.

        남부지방 중앙부엌형 주거의 공간구성과 주거내용의 대응에 관한 연구 : 청산도 청계리의 사례를 중심으로

        Of the numerous assertions, life pattern or custom in a specific area has long been believed that it has a significant impact on the layout of residential building. Currentstudy aimed to support the above claim by investigating the layout of 42residential houses of Choungsan Island which is located in the southern part of Korean peninsula. After assessing the impact of ordinary and unordinary activities of the island's residents on the space arrangement, author could draw following conclusions. First, in most houses, Keun-che(main building) and Haengrang-che(sub building) are arranged ilL" type in site. The layout of Keun-chae, is unique in that kitchen was arranged at the center of the building. Second, Mari(wooden flood, in Keun-chae has dual-functions; i.e., the space has been served for both ceremony and storage. Third, such unique space arrangement and functional characteristics were attributable to the criterion of space allocation in a family and the location and preparation of shrine for family gods such as Sungju, Jowang, and Jihyangne. Above research outcomes confirmed that life pattern and religious custom of an area have critical impact on the space arrangement of residential building.

        The Malignant Mixed Mullerian Tumor(MMMT) of uterus, a biphasic malignant tumor composed of both epithelial and stromal component, is rare but very aggressive and generally lethal. Most of these tumors arise spontaneously in the sixth to eighth decade of life, but certain proportions are known to be occurred in women, who had received pelvic irradiation. But, the precise role of irradiation in the genesis of uterine neoplasia remains uncertain. We experienced a case of MMMT of uterus which ruptured during intravenous pyelogram and she had received pelvic irradiation 40years ago.

        Two cases of primary small cell carcinoma of the ovary occurred. One was a case of 43-year-old woman associated with hypercalcemia and the other was a case of 40-year-old woman with pulmonary type. Ovarian small cell carcinoma of the hypercalcemic type have clinicopathological, immunohistochemical, ultrastructural, and flow cytometric features that from differ from those of small cell carcinomas of the pulmonary type. It is important for therapeutic reasons to distinguish these two types of ovarian tumors from each other and from a variety of malignant small cell tumors that ovary primarily or secondarily. So, we reported these cases with a brief review of the concerned literatures.

      • 중구내 도심형산업 밀집지역의 산업현황 및 지역특성 연구

        This study is investigation of enterprise's distribution condition and the regional characteristics about the small and medium-sized enterprises congestion region in Jung-gu Seoul. Result of the study is summarized as followings. (1) Complex road circumstance, dilapidation of building, the problem of complex landholding and etc. of this area are becoming an obstacle of normal development of city style industry. (2) Though each block is different in the building distribution condition, low floor area ratio is widely seen. Specially, the dilapidated buildings impede the area development and are weak in disaster such as fire. So a solution for these dilapidated buildings is required (3) In this area, various minor enterprises, related to publication, printing, machine, electricity, are located concentrically. The enterprises have been sharing a lot of expenses for a shortage of industrial infrastructure, expensive rent, complex traffic circumstance. These factors are becoming cause that weaken enterprise's competitive power. (4) Specially, the industry of this area has heavy difficulty by poor road circumstance. However enforcing one-way traffic and making public parking lot, the fundamental problem is still not solved.

      • 분무열분해법에 의한 MgO 및 NiO첨가 Al₂o₃분체로 제조한 소결체에서의 Spinel확인

        Powders prepared by spray pyrolysis method are expected to have the compositional homogeneity and homogeneous distribution of additives. Pure MgO doped and NiO doped Al₂O₃ powders were synthesized by spray pyrolysis method at 1000℃. Sintered specimens were prepared by firing at 1600, 1650 and 1700℃ for 2 hrs. with their calcined powders of 1100℃ for 1 hr. The microstructure of pure Al₂O₃ sintered specimen showed large grains and grain-boundary pores, and its ralative density was about 91% even thought it was fired at 1700℃, 2hrs. 0.25 wt% MgO or 0.3 wt% NiO doped Al₂O₃ prevented discontinuous grain growth and eliminated residual pores, and allowded the specimen to densify to near a theoretical density. More MgO or NiO doping into Al₂O₃ impeded the grain growth and included many pores. According to SAD (selected area diffraction) and EDS analysis of sintered Al₂O₃bodies doped with 0.25, 5.0 wt% MgO and 0.3, 0.5 wt% NiO, the second phase Mg-Al spinel particles and Ni-Al spinel particles were observed at grain boundary and inside Al₂O₃ grains.
