        조립공정에서의 Pull-Push 제조전략

        Traditional Manufacturing method is push system by plan made in advance and Japanese manufacturing method represented by JUST-IN-TIME is pull system which respond's to the demand flexibly. Both have their pros and cons. In general, it is well understood that push system is faster than pull system in the sense of manufacturing speed. However, pull system such as JIT excelles dramatically in the sense of work in process. Therefore, this paper is trying to put together to get alternative which has the advantage of both system. The objective of the paper is to enhance the effect of built-in manufacturing system without paying extra cost by way of introducing the alternative of the pull-push manufacturing strategic operational method.

        공급자개발 성숙도모형이 ERP 확산과 SCM 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        Purpose – In case of automobile parts, there has been a lot of progress in the study on supplier development plans and SCM in industrial progress study as well as on the relationship between ERP and SCM. But supplier development program providers have researched on SCM performance in accordance with the interests of the supplier development program most, thus, buyers were knowledgeable about the earlier program performance. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to prove correlation factor, supplier factor, purchaser factor affecting SCM performance and ERP activating diffusion through the process of supplier development. Supplier development maturity formation model is considered important variables as mediators related to the procedure. Finally, the performance formation model of the supplier development maturity through supplier development factor would be presented as the outcome of this study. Research design, data, and methodology – Data gathering was as follows: questionnaires were delivered to 87 companies that have business connection with H Company. The empirical research to test our hypothesis was grounded on statistical analysis (adapting SPSS 19.0 & AMOS 19.0). The hypothesis is that the supplier development factor variables consist of correlation factor, supplier factor, purchaser factor, and have non-negative effects on the next variables: mediators such as supplier development maturity; and the supplier development maturity variables have a positive effect on the next variables: ERP activating diffusion, ERP activating diffusion has a non-negative effect on supply chain performance. We experimented the hypothesized model using path analysis with latent variables. Results – First, it was known that cooperation <H1>, reliability <H2>, comprehension on the purpose of SDP <H3>, adaptation of change <H4>, knowledge transfer program <H5>, have significant positive effects on supplier development maturity. Second, supplier development maturity has positive effects significantly on ERP activating diffusion <H6>. Finally, the causal relationships from ERP activating diffusion to SCM performance <H7> were significantly accepted. Its significance, as through the hypotheses, presented a structural model for the elaboration, suppliers develop maturity, and ultimately SCM performance that affect ERP leveraging spread beyond the concept of maturity of information system. Therefore, it was a mainstay of research on the existing ERP has they believed. Conclusion – First, with the fast changes in business circumstances, company should get the right information to implement SCM appropriately. For successful SCM, firms should understand the supplier development maturity formation and ERP activating diffusion. Second, supplier development factor has significant effects on supplier development maturity. Third, mediator such as supplier development maturity significantly affects ERP activating diffusion. Finally, ERP activating diffusion has significant impacts on SCM performance. This study makes a meaningful contribution to further appreciation on how supplier development maturity formation affects SCM performance. This study shows implications. First, there would not have been dealt with introducing the concept of supplier development maturity. Second, through empirical analysis and provider factors, the providers will develop the maturity that affect interactive factors between purchaser and supplier.

        정보공유를 통한 성과형성모델 : 자산전용성과 정보공유가 공급사슬 내 성과에 미치는 영향

        The Purpose of this study is to suggest ‘the Performance Formation Model through Information Sharing.’ In the model, asset specificity is the independent variable, the level of information sharing and the importance of information sharing play roles of the mediators, and SCM (Supply Chain Management) performance is the dependent variable. In Preliminary Study, the positive relationship between the level of information sharing and SCM performance was identified using the data from Delphi Korea Corp. In Study1, which extended the Preliminary study using the data collected from HYUNDAI Mobis, not only the level of information sharing, but also the importance of information sharing was verified as a significant factor affecting SCM level. In Study2, we examined ‘the Performance Formation Model through Information Sharing’using the data from Kyeryong Construction Corp. Finally, we statistically proved (1) asset specificity affects (2) the level of information sharing and (3) the important of information sharing, and then (2) & (3) affect the SCM performance. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 ‘통합적 정보공유 성과모델’을 제안하기 위함이다. 정보공유(information sharing)를 통하여 SCM (Supply Chain Management)내 성과를 향상시켜 줌을 증명하고, 그 현상을 설명해 주는 요소로 자산전용성(asset specificity)을 선정하여 그간의 이론적 관계를 가설로 설정하였다. 즉, 자산전용성이 독립변수로서, 정보공유수준과 정보공유중요도는 매개변수로서, 종속변수 SCM성과에 유의한 영향을 주는 것을 문헌연구를 통해 가설로 설정하고, 이를 증명하는‘정보공유를 통한 성과형성모델’을 제안하고자 하는 것이다. 이는 기존 정보공유를 통한 공급사슬의 효율적 관리에 관한 연구를 제고시키는 학문적 공헌과 함께, 국내외 기업들에게 공급사슬관리를 위한 설명력 있는 모델을 제시하는 실무적 기여가 크다고 할 수 있다. Preliminary Study에서는 정보공유수준과 SCM성과 간의 관계를 확인하였고, Study1에서는 이를 확장하여 정보공유 수준과 함께 정보공유중요도가 SCM성과를 설명해주는 유의한 요소인지를 검정하였다. 마지막으로 Study3에서는 (1)자 산전용성은 (2)정보공유수준과 (3)정보공유중요도에 영향을 주고, (2)정보공유수준과 (3)정보공유중요도는 완전매개변수 로 SCM성과에 영향을 주는 관계를 확인하였고, 이를 ‘정보공유를 통한 성과형성모델’로 확정하였다.

      • Do Consumers Prefer FAIR TRADE Products? The Moderating Role of Country : Korea and the U.S.

        While research has begun to emerge regarding the benefits of Fair Trade to producers and consumer demand for Fair Trade products, there has been virtually no academic research focusing on its effect on preference for products. This research has significant implications to progress towards its expansion because we prove the positive influences of Fair Trade on businesses such as consumers’ preference for products. Despite the maturity of the literatures that consider Fair Trade, very little work seems to have been undertaken to illustrate the positive effects of Fair Trade and no work related to its effect on preference has been conducted. The primary purpose of this paper is to highlight further research opportunities and to find the effect of Fair Trade on preference by exploring consumer behavior. Structural equation modeling is used to verify the causal relationships from ethical consumerism to preference for Fair Trade products through attitude towards Fair Trade and Fair Trade products. In particular, this study used two samples of 564 consumers in Korea and 247 in America on the basis of the hypothesis that consumer behavior towards Fair Trade varies depending on country. This study contributes to both of the practical and academic areas in several ways. 공급자에게 돌아오는 Fair Trade로부터의 효익과 Fair Trade제품에 대한 소비자의 수요에 관한 연구들이 등장해 오고 있는 반면, Fair Trade가 제품에 대한 선호도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구가 수행되지 않아왔다. 본 연구는 소비자의 제품에 대한 선호와 같은 Fair Trade의 긍정적인 영향들을 증명함으로써, 이의 확장에 중요한 함축적 의미를 전달하고 있다. Fair Trade에 대한 연구가 상당히 진행되었음에도 불구하고, 극소수의 연구들만이 Fair Trade가 주는 긍정적인 효과를 밝힘을 보여 왔다. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 추후연구 기회를 강조하고, 소비자행동 연구를 통한 Fair Trade의 선호도에 미치는 효과를 분석하기 위함이다. (1)윤리적소비주의, (2)Fair Trade에 대한 태도, (3)Fair Trade제품에 대한 태도, (4)선호도와 같은 본 연구가 제안한 모델 내 주요 변수들 간의 인과관계를 분석하기 위하여 구조방정식모형 접근을 시도하였다. 더욱이, Fair Trade에 대한 태도가 국가 간에 차이가 있을 것이라는 가설 하에, 564명의 한국 소비자들과, 24명의 미국 소비자들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 결론에는 본 연구가 주는 학문적·실무적 공헌점들을 기술하였다.

        Fair Trade has experienced increased popularity due to rising numbers of socially concerned consumers. This study intends to gain insights into the drives to the growth of Fair Trade as well as to evaluate its future potential in South Korean market. The purchase intention of Korean consumers on Fair Trade products and their level of ethical consumerism were measured. A sample of 564 randomly selected participants was asked to complete a survey. The study presented empirical evidence that consumers’ level of ethical consumerism had significant effect on purchase intention of Fair Trade products, and strong purchase intention leads to positive effects of repurchase intention, brand loyalty, and brand commitment. This study adds to understanding of the emerging market to enhance further development of Fair Trade and to open up new possibilities in production of goods and services.

        정보역량 형성모형을 통한 공급사슬 성과 연구

        산업계 및 학계에서 공급체인관리에 대한 관심은 급격히 증가해 왔으며 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 추세는 여러가지 요인에 기인하고 있는데, 많은 기업들이 공급 체인관리를 통하여 실질적으로 제조비용을 절감해왔음을 인지하고 있다는 점이 큰 영향을 미쳤다고 할 수 있다. 그러나 제조 운영시스템의 첨단화와 세계화가 지속해서 성장해가는 것처럼 공급체인 복잡성과 위험 또한 커지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 정보공유, 정보품질, 정보역량 영향을 주는 요인이 무엇인지, 정보역량에는 어떤 요인들이 작용하는지, 최종적으로 어떠한 경로와 관계를 걸쳐 공급사슬성과를 나타내는지 구조적으로 밝히고자 하였으며 통계적 분석을 통하여 구조적 관계를 제시하였다. 첫째, 투입변수인 정보역량요인은 매개변수(프로세스변수)인 정보공유와 정보품질에 영향력을 주는지 알 수 있었다. 즉, 구매-공급자간 상호작요인 협업과 신뢰, 변화의 순응력, 공급자개발의 이해도와 구매자의 요인인 지식이전 프로그램이 정보역량을 형성하고 이들이 정보공유와 정보품질을 높이게 됨을 알 수 있었다. 둘째로, 매개변수 (프로세스변수)인 정보공유와 정보품질은 투입변수인 정보역량에 영향이 미침을 알 수 있다. 즉, 정보공유와 정보품질이 높으면 공급자 내의 업무량과 질을 고도화 시켜 정보역량 범위를 더욱 넓혀나감을 알 수 있었다. 셋째로 정보역량은 성과변수인 공급사슬성과에 영향을 미쳐 공급사슬성과에 긍정적인 결과를 가져옴을 알 수 있었다. Interest in supply chain management in both industry and academia has increased rapidly and is continuing to increase. Many influences have contributed to this trend. Many companies have realized that they have actually reduced manufacturing costs. In this study, we are structurally explaining what factors influence information sharing, information quality, information capacity, what factors affect information capacity, and what paths and relationships ultimately indicate supply chain performance. Was formed through statistical analysis. First, it can be seen that the information competence factor, which is an input variable, has an influence on information sharing and information quality, which are parameters (process variables). In other words, it can be seen that knowledge-transfer programs, which are factors of buyer-supplier interactions, collaboration, trust, net stress of change, supplier development, and buyer factors, form information capacity and increase information sharing and information quality. Second, it can be seen that information sharing and information quality (process variables) have an influence on information capacity, which is an output variable. In other words, if the information sharing and information quality is high, it can be seen that the scope of information capacity is expanded by upgrading the workload and quality in the supplier. Third, information capability affects supply chain performance, which is a performance variable, and has a positive effect on supply chain performance.
