• Design and Analysis of Fabrication Threat Management in Peer-to-Peer Collaborative Location Privacy

Jagdale, Balaso,Sugave, Shounak,Kolhe, Kishor International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2021 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.21 No.spc12

Information security reports four types of basic attacks on information. One of the attacks is named as fabrication. Even though mobile devices and applications are showing its maturity in terms of performance, security and ubiquity, location-based applications still faces challenges of quality of service, privacy, integrity, authentication among mobile devices and hence mobile users associated with the devices. There is always a continued fear as how location information of users or IoT appliances is used by third party LB Service providers. Even adversary or malicious attackers get hold of location information in transit or fraudulently hold this information. In this paper, location information fabrication scenarios are presented after knowing basic model of information attacks. Peer-to-Peer broadcast model of location privacy is proposed. This document contains introduction to fabrication, solutions to such threats, management of fabrication mitigation in collaborative or peer to peer location privacy and its cost analysis. There are various infrastructure components in Location Based Services such as Governance Server, Point of interest POI repository, POI service, End users, Intruders etc. Various algorithms are presented and analyzed for fabrication management, integrity, and authentication. Moreover, anti-fabrication mechanism is devised in the presence of trust. Over cost analysis is done for anti-fabrication management due to nature of various cryptographic combinations.

Cyclization Reaction for the Synthesis of Polysubstituted Naphthalenes in the Presence of Au(I) Precatalysts

Jagdale, Arun R.,Park, Jong Hyub,Youn, So Won American Chemical Society 2011 Journal of organic chemistry Vol.76 No.17

Au(I)-catalyzed cyclization of alkenyl carbonyl compounds leading to a variety of substituted naphthalenes has been developed. This process exploits a dual function of the Au(I) catalyst: (1) the oxophilic nature of the Au(I) catalyst, counterintuitive to the π-acidic reactivities generally associated with Au catalysts, and (2) olefin isomerization supported by the outcome of isotope scrambling experiments. It cannot be completely excluded that TfOH is a true operative catalyst in this protocol. In view of the practicality, the unnecessity of isomerically pure starting material in this reaction is particularly attractive and valuable.

Graphic Abstract

ACS Electronic Supporting Info

Pulsatile Multiparticulate Drug Delivery System for Metoprolol Succinate

        Swati C. Jagdale,Sachin M. Chede,Ram Gulwady,Bhanudas S. Kuchekar,Pradeep D. Lokhande,Tejas P. Shah,Anuruddha R. Chabukswar 대한약학회 2011 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.34 No.3

Cardiovascular diseases and their treatment pose a great challenge. Many instances of cardiovascular disease occur in the early morning hours. Hence, the objective of this study was to develop a time-controlled release formulation of metoprolol succinate based on a pulsatile multiparticulate (pellets) drug delivery system. The formulation was intended to be administered in the evening at 22:00 hours to evaluate symptoms of cardiovascular disease that are experienced in the early morning hours (from 04:00 to 06:00). Drug layering followed by a swelling layer and finally by an insoluble coat application was done using a Sanmour fluid bed processor. Metoprolol succinate layered on sugar pellets (74% w/w) layered with 20% (w/w) ion doshion resin P-547 and coated with 15% (w/w) ethocel with the addition of 20% castor oil showed a lag time of 4 h and was then followed a sigmoidal release pattern with more than 95% drug having been released by the 10th h.

Synthesis and Characterization of Some Transition Metal Complexes of Unsymmetrical Tetradentate Schiff Base Ligand

        Munde, A. S.,Jagdale, A. N.,Jadhav, S. M.,Chondhekar, T. K. Korean Chemical Society 2009 대한화학회지 Vol.53 No.4

o-phenylenediamine, 3-acetyl-6-methyl-(2H) pyran, 2,4 (3H)-dione (dehydroacetic acid or DHA) The solid complexes of Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(II), Mn(II) and Fe(III) with 4-hydroxy-3-(1-{2-(2-hydroxybenzylidene)- amino phenylimino}-ethyl)-6-methy-pyran-2-one (H2L) derived from o-phenylenediamine, 3-acetyl- 6-methyl-(2H) pyran, 2,4 (3H)-dione (dehydroacetic acid or DHA) and salicylic aldehyde have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, conductometry, magnetic susceptibility, UV-visible, IR, $^1H$-NMR spectra, X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, and screened for antimicrobial activity. The IR spectral data suggest that the ligand behaves as a dibasic tetradentate ligand with ONNO donor atoms sequence towards central metal ion. From the microanalytical data, the stoichiometry of the complexes has been found to be 1:1 (metal: ligand). The physico-chemical data suggests square planar geometry for Cu(II) and Ni(II) complexes and octahedral geometry for Co(II), Mn(II) and Fe(III) complexes. The x-ray differaction data suggests orthorhombic crystal system for Cu(II) complex, monoclinic crystal system for Ni(II), Co(II) and Fe(III) and tetragonal crystal system for Mn(II) complex. Thermal behaviour (TG/DTA) of the complexes was studied and kinetic parameters were determined by Coats-Redfern method. The ligand and their metal complexes were screened for antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli and fungicidal activity against Aspergillus Niger and Trichoderma.

      • Pd-Catalyzed Sequential C–C Bond Formation and Cleavage: Evidence for an Unexpected Generation of Arylpalladium(II) Species

Youn, So Won,Kim, Byung Seok,Jagdale, Arun R. American Chemical Society 2012 JOURNAL OF THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY - Vol.134 No.28

A Pd(II)-catalyzed reaction engaging alkenyl β-keto esters is reported that leads to the formation of 1-naphthols and an unexpected generation of arylpalladium(II) species. Interception of the in situ generated arylpalladium(II) species in a Mizoroki–Heck reaction, together with additional mechanistic studies, provided strong evidence in support of the first aromatization-driven β-carbon elimination process. A single Pd catalyst served to promote a series of both C–C bond forming and cleavage events in an unprecedented manner.

Graphic Abstract

ACS Electronic Supporting Info

A comparative study of smica in various body fluids of diagnosed cervical cancer patients and healthy women

        ( Pooja A. Pachani ),( Rajendra R. Godbole ),( Jeevitaa Kshersagar ),( Rakhi Jagdale ),( Amita Gosavi ),( Somshekhar Patil ),( Rakesh K Sharma ),( Meghnad G. Joshi ) 대한산부인과학회 2022 Obstetrics & Gynecology Science Vol.65 No.1

Objective Cervical cancer (CC) is a major public health problem in women, and its early detection can help reduce morbidity and mortality. The objective of this study was to compare serum levels of soluble major histocompatibility complex class I-related chain A (sMICA) levels in various body fluids between women diagnosed with CC and healthy women. Methods A case-control study was conducted at a tertiary care hospital and a cancer center in Kolhapur, India. Overall, 150 individuals (100 CC patients and 50 healthy women) participated after providing informed written consent. Demographic data, histopathology history, parity, and tumor, node, and metastasis (TNM) staging data were collected. Pap smears, saliva, blood, and urine samples were collected. Pap smears were examined microscopically, and sMICA levels in all samples were determined by enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA). Results The mean age of women with cervical cancer was 49.86±8.18 years. Squamous cell carcinoma (70%) was the most common histological variant in CC patients. Serum soluble sMICA levels differed significantly with parity and TNM staging (P<0.05). Mean levels of sMICA were significantly different in samples (CC cases vs. healthy patients; saliva: 166.721±108.718 vs. 0.039±0.005 pg/mL; urine: 82.921±45.580 vs. 0.010±0.005 pg/mL; serum: 35.756±10.799 vs. 0.039±0.005 pg/mL, P<0.001). Conclusion Levels of sMICA in body fluids can be considered as a diagnostic or prognostic tool to determine disease progression or tumor regression.
