5-〔3-(N-Substituted Piperazinyl)Propoxy〕Indan類의 合成과 中樞神經抑制效果

Five new indans, 5-[3-(N-substitued piperaziny) propxy]indans, were synthesized by condensation of 5-(3-bromopropoxy)indan, the intermediate, and N-substituted piperazines. The structure of the compunds were determined by means of IR, NMR spectoscopy along with elemental analysis. Each compound was tested for antimorphine and antiamphetamine effects as part of CNS depressant effects and for muscle relaxant action in mice. Thes compound exhibited less potent activity compared to chlordiazepoxide on CNS depressant effect. Muscle reaxant action of the compounds, the side effect of tranquilizer, however, was much weaker than that of chlordiazepoxide.

핸드 마우스를 기반으로 한 휴먼인터페이스 기술의 설계 및 구현

컴퓨터 기술의 발전과 더불어 컴퓨터 인터페이스는 최근 HCI(Human Computer Interaction)와 같이 자연스럽고 친숙한 환경으로 변화되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 비전을 기반으로 웹 카메라를 사용하는 손 영역 검출 과정 및 손동작 추적 방법을 제시하고 이에 의한 휴먼 인터페이스를 제안한다. 손 영역 검출 단계에서는 가우시안 필터를 이용하여 노이즈를 제거하고, YCbCr 컬러공간을 이용하여 피부색을 검출한다. 손동작 추적 단계에서는 손 영역의 무게중심 좌표를 찾는 방법을 선택하고, 칼만 필터를 이용하여 손동작 위치 정보를 예측하여 손동작 인식률을 높인다. 마우스 이벤트 처리 단계에서는 레이블링을 이용하여 손가락 개수를 검출하며, 이를 이용하여 마우스 이벤트를 수행하도록 한다. 이 방법으로 구현된 핸드 마우스를 응용프로 그램에 적용함으로써 보다 자연스럽고 친숙한 휴먼 인터페이스를 구현한다.

네트워크 관리를 위한 XML 기반의 SNMP MIB 변환 알고리즘의 연구

SNMP는 인터넷 관리에서 널리 사용되었지만 효율성과 확장성의 제약 때문에 날로 증대되는 대규모의 네트워크 전체를 SNMP만으로 관리하는 것은 비효율적이다. 또한 시간이 지남에 따라 대규모의 네트워크 망이 늘어남에 따라 SNMP를 통한 네트워크의 관리에 많은 한계점을 지적하고 있다. 이에 대한 대안 중의 하나가 XML에 기초한 XML기반의 네트워크 관리 방안이다. 이 논문은 SNMP를 XML로 변환하는 구체적인 알고리즘을 제시하고 있으며, 이 알고리즘을 적용한 게이트웨이의 방법을 제지하고 있다. 또한 XML기반의 SNMP를 이용해서 전체 네트워크를 관리하는 방법을 제시한다. Linux systems support the mornel module that allows dynamical addition and removal of kemel for extensibility. Recently, some backdoors detected in hacked systems are based on the kernel module. We discuss the kernel module, and how it works as backdoor. Furthermore, future works are suggested to deal with the kernel module based hacking.

포괄수가지불제도 적용에 따른 산부인과 진료수입의 변화

Objectives: Under the fee-for-service system, Korean hospitals have been suffering from the worsening profitability caused by law medical care fees. To overcome the difficulties, they have maximized the quantity of medical services and made relatively large investment in developing new medical services using high-priced medical equipment, medicines and medical supplies which were not covered by medical insurance system rather than reduced running costs. Materials and Methods: This study was made to analyze and forecast the revenue change of the department of Obstetrics and gynecology of an university hospital in Seoul, expecting the implementation of DRG system in 2000. Results: The results were as follows : 1.During the first two days of hospitalization. 41% of total medical service fee was occurred, which was thought that most of the check-ups and operations were made during this period. After two days of hospitalization, the new occurrence of medical service fee tended to reduce. 2.Out of total medical service fee, 67% of admission fee was occurred after 5 days of hospitalization. This was because medical service fees in obstetrics and gynecology department occurred during the first 5 days of hospitalization. 3.Out of fees for operation, treatment, medical supplies and blood transfusion. 71% was occurred during the first two days. 4. In case of fees for examination, 50% was occurred during the first two days. 5.A total of 53% of fees for medication and injection was occurred during the first 5 days. Conclusions: By the implementation of the DRG system, the income is forecast to increase by 800 won to 310,000 won by the disease group of obstetrics and gynecology department. To increase hospital income with the implementation of DRG system, the results of this study suggest that examinations should be done at out-patient departments before the hospitalization of patient, the discharge of patient should be noticed in advance to reduce the period of hospitalization, and admission appointment system should be implemented for the immediate operation and delivery.

A single particle analysis, called low Z electron probe X-my microanalysis was applied to characterize the atmospheric aerosols collected during Asian Dust storm events in the year of 2000 and 2001. Most frequently encountered chemical species were the soil-originated species such as aluminosilicates, silicon dioxide, md calcium carbonate. Also various species such as carbon-rich, organics, sea salts. and some reacted calcium carbonate were identified. The observation of internally mixed particles of calcium carbonate, calcium nitrate and/or calcium sulfate shows the occurrence of the heterogeneous reaction between Asian Dust panicles and NOx and/or SOx, species in the atmosphere.

사마귀류 추출물의 생물학적 활성 비교

In order to investigate the availability of insect resources for agrobiotechnological or medical purposes, we examined antioxidant (DPPH and FRAP assay) and cell viability by oxidant stress and NO inhibition assay by treatment of the extracts of Statilia maculata Thunberg, Tenodera angustipennis Saussure and Tenodera aridifolia Stoll. We found that Tenodera angustipennis Saussure and Tenodera aridifolia Stoll extract (DW, etanol, methanol) had high levels of anti-oxidant activity, whereas Tenodera aridifolia Stoll extract showed increased cell viability by hydrogen peroxide and inhibition of NO production. These findings suggest that Statilia maculata Thunberg, Tenodera angustipennis Saussure and Tenodera aridifolia Stoll, extract have potentials to be developed for agrobiotechnology or medicinal use, indicating that mechanistic study including inhibition against molecular inflammation will show a possibility for the development of useful insect resources.

雜犬에서 Isoflurane 마취시 Epinephrine 용량에 의해 유발된 부정맥의 비교연구

Isoflurane has been known to reveal relatively stable hemodynamic effects on cardiovascular system. So many anesthesiologist recommand it as the anesthetic choice for cardiovascular surgery. Epinephrine injection for surgical hemostasis during general anesthesia especially exogenous epinephrine injection with halothane & cyclopropane induced the arrhythmias. The author performed the experimental study to evaluate the arrhythmias and cardiovascular effects during 1% isoflurane anesthesia, when diluted solution of epinephrine intravenous injected. Systolic Blood Pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure, Mean Arterial Pressure, Heart Rate, and presence of arrhythmia were measured. 1. Arrhythmias were few and transient in diluted epinephrine concentration increase. 2. SBP, DBP, MAP were increased in diluted epinephrine concentration increase. 3. Heart rate were decrease at systolic pressure peak level.

Goretex를 이용한 융비술

융비술시 실리콘 고무는 다루기 쉽고 조직 반응이 적어 현대 많이 돌출의 합병증이 생길 수 있다. 저자등은 이러한 실리콘의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 goretex를 사용하여 융비술을 시행하고 비첨에 대해서 자가연골을 이식하여 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었기에 goretex가 안면부 연조직의 증강을 위한 이식재료로 적합하다고 생각되어 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Many different materials have been used to provide augmentation of the nasal dorsum. this include both autogenous and homogenous materials,as well as allografts. Silicone among the artificial materials has been most widely used. The silicone has some advantages and disadvantages. Goretex(expanded polytetra-fluoroethylene) which has widely used in vascular surgery and abdominal surgery can be used for facial soft tissue augmentation. The author presemts 2 cases of nasal augmentaion using goretex with literature review.

정신분열병에 대한 Risperidone의 효과 및 안전성에 관하여

In order to evaluate the efficacy and safety of risperidone, 10 patients with chronic schizophrenia were examined for 8 weeks in a silgle-open study. After the wash-out period of 1 week, risperidone was administered. Efficacy was evaluated by means of Positive and Negative syndrome Scale for Schizophernia(PANSS) and Clinical Global Impression(CGI). Safety assessment included the Extrapyramidal Symptom Rating Scale(ESRS), vital signs, body weight, ECG, and laboratory tests. The results were as follows 1) On the PANSS total score, there was significant improvement of total score after 1 week (P<.05) of administratiom. 2) On the PANSS positive and negative subscal, there were significant improvement of posotive and negative scores after 2 weeks (P<.05) of administration. 3) On the PANSS general psychopatholgy subscals, there were significant improvement of general psychopathologyscores after 1 week (P<.05) of administratiom. 4) On the CGI, there was significant decreasement of clinical impression of severity of schizophrenia score after 2 week (P<.05) of administration. 5) A statistically significant increase in body weight (P<.05) was observed after 8 weeks of administration. 6) EPS reached the peak at the end of the 1st week of administration of risperidone (11.8± 24.25) but they were easily relieved by addition of benztropine and clonazepam. There was not significant change in laboratory tests, vital sign, ECG after 8 weeks of administration. These results suggest that Risperidone is an effective antipsychotics and clinically safe except for increased body weight in chronic schizophrenia.
