This paper presents results of the development of energy saving technology for building automation system. As a result, the direct digital controllers are stand-alone control stations gathering data from the field devices such as sensors or controllers, alayzing them. Corresponding with central control & monitoring system and controlling the devices as programmed direct digital control has programmable logic control functions for reliable distributed direct digital control. Main software and direct digital control are our own developments which make it possible for us to extend or modify all the requirements of user's in the system promptly.
유색미에 관한 연구 : Ⅲ. 유색미 유망계통에 대한 주요 생육 특성

국내외 유색미 수집종을 돌연변이원에 의해 유기된 우수 계통과 수집종간 상호교배에 의해 선발된 CNU 20계통을 파종하여 얻어진 주요 작물학적 특성을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 1. 간장은 유색 메벼인 CNU126 계통이 대조품종인 동진벼와 같이 가장 컸고 메성인 CNU 128계통에서 가장 작았다. 2. 주당 분얼수는 CNU3, CNU50. CNU56, CNU112 계통에서 가장 많았고 대조품종과 CNU 128 계통에서 10개 미만으로 가장 적게 나타났다. 3. 수장은 육성 계통 중 CNU88 계통에서 가장 길었으나 대조구보다 짧고, 육성계통 중에서는 CNU 126 계통이 가장 짧았다. 4. 주당 영화수는 대조구인 동진벼보다 CNU50 계통에서 2배 이상 많았고, CNU158 계통에서 가장 적게 나타났다. 5. 천립중은 CNU113 계통에서 30g이상으로 대조구와 같이 가장 무거웠고, CNU128 계통에서 20g으로 가장 적었다. 6. 주당 수량은 대조구의 26.6g에 비해 CNU50, CNU112 계통에서 두배정도 높았고, CNU128, CNU158, CNU200 계통에서 가장 낮게 타나났다. Aims of this study were carried out to develop the useful lines induced from mutation and pedigree breeding methods among the collected genetic resources from national and domestic areas. In this study, Stem height of CNU126 line and check among them were high, while CNU128 was lower than other lines. Spiklet length of CNU88 was longer, but that of CNU126 was shorter than check. Number of spiklets per plant of CNU50 among lines have twice time than check. 1,000 grains weight of CNU113 was higher than check. In yield per plant, CNU50 and CNU112 were higher than check, Dongjinbyeo.

Western flower thrips, Frankliniella occidentalis(Perg.), is one of the major pests of lettuce, Lactuca sativa. To develop the economic thresholds for western flower thrips on lettuce, the thrips was inoculated into two types of lettuce, green deeply lobed leaf lettuce which was harvested every week and red frilled & crinkled leaf lettuce which was harvested one time, with a density of 0, 1, 3, 7, 10 thrips per one lettuce after planting 1 week and 3 weeks at the plastic house in 2006, and 0, 1, 3, 5, 7 thrips per one lettuce after planting 1 week in 2007. There was close correlation between the initial thrips density and the marketable quantity of lettuce : y = -155.36x + 3564.7, r2=0.9724('06), y = -167.82x + 3474.5, r2=0.8897('07) in the green deeply lobed leaf lettuce inoculated the thrips after planting 1 week, y = -109.65x + 3549.1, r2=0.9384('06) in the green deeply lobed leaf lettuce inoculated the thrips after planting 3 weeks, y = -197.09x + 3334.9, r2=0.9707('06), y = -244.08x + 3425.9, r2=0.8914('07) in the red frilled & crinkled leaf lettuce inoculated the thrips after planting 1 week, y = -101.07x + 3457.6, r2=0.7334('06) in the red frilled & crinkled leaf lettuce inoculated the thrips after planting 3 weeks. The economic threshold for western flower thrips on lettuce was ranged 0.20~0.30 thrips per one lettuce in the blue type lettuce and 0.14~0.33 thrips per one lettuce in the red type lettuce.
Fundamental characteristics of Propylea japonica (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) formass rearing system

Propylea japonica is small ladybug(approximately 4-5mm) and is met with everywhere in Korea. When there was no aphid, the survival rate of P. japonica was 0% among another instar bugs and 26.7~32.8% among same instar bugs after 48 hours. When there were sufficient aphids, the cannibalism of P. japonica was low, so the survival rate of P. japonica was 78.6~95.8% among another instar bugs and 80.6~100% among same instar bugs after 48 hours. In the comparison of the number of eggs at different oviposition site, P. japonica preferred the corrugated cardboard. In experiment using T-tube, the rate of decoy was 81% at cotton aphid compared with pepper leaf and 62% at cotton aphid compared with artificial diet. In the artificial diet using shrimp and chicken liver, the developmental period from egg to adult was 17days and the survival rate from egg to adult was 66.7% but the vitality was not good. These data suggest that P. japonica can be used effective natural enemy for control of aphids and is needed to research about artificial diet, mass rearing system and control effect in field.

Actinomycosis is difficult to diagnose preoperatively because of non-specific clinical feature. We usually have excessively invasive treatment for actinomycosis. So, we must rule out actinomycosis in the case of patients with a complaint of lower abdominal pain with a long time IUD inserted state and laboratory findings suggestive of inflammation. We experienced two cases of pelvic actinomycosis associated with IUD and report these cases with a brief review of literatures.

Grey field slug, Deroceras reticulatum Muller, is one of the major pests of chinese cabbage, Brassica campestris. To determine the economic thresholds of grey field slug on chinese cabbage, the slugs were inoculated after planting 1 week into chinese cabbages with a density of 0, 2, 4, 8, 16 slugs per 16 chinese cabbages(1㎡) at the plastic house in the spring and autumn of 2008. The rates of damaged cabbages by slug inoculation were 10.7% at 2 slugs and 42.7% at 16 slugs in the spring, and 20.3% at 2 slugs and 59.2% at 16 slugs in the autumn. The linear relationships between the initial slugs density and yield reduction of chinese cabbage were as following ; Y = 286.07x + 548.62, R2=0.9524(in the spring cultivation), Y = 318.91x + 998.05, R2=0.9323(in the autumn cultivation). Based on these results, the economic threshold of grey field slug per 16 chinese cabbages(1㎡) was 2.52 slugs in the spring and 0.86 slugs in the autumn.

Recently Domestic EMU‘s on board signal systems are gradually changed form Cab signal(Fix Block) to Distance-to-go. Interfaces with on board signal system, TCMS Redundancy structure is mainly required. This paper suggest Manaul/Automatic Driving based on TCMS-ATC interface and design of backup system which is operated by Stan-by Computer when one of it"s Local Interface Unit(LIU) is out of oder. For the purpose of Precision Train Stop, Distance-to-go signal system require accuracy speed. Free-axle structure is required for this system. This paper suggest Free-axle braking system that lack of brake-force is compensated by the distributed brake-force using TCMS. And one of braking system has out of order, compensation of brake-force for Free-axle system. Then we prove our design to Complete Car Test

This study is to investigate an effective instruction for female students in an engineering classroom through gender -sensitive teaching strategies by analysing recorded classroom instruction, reflective journals of professor, and mentoring instructions of A professor teaching “non-steel materials and design” in an engineering classroom. This study which used a qualitative approach for data collection and analysis showed changes of A professor in his way of teaching. The changes are: making rough lesson plan → making detailed lesson plan, being satisfied with his teaching skills → trying to improve his teaching skills, using negative feedback → using positive feedback, pointing weaknesses as pre-engineers → providing detailed information needed to be engineers. This paper deals with the theory comparison between a conventional engineering education and new engineering education, in which conventional models may fail to give satisfactory results. Finally, we provide real application examples to evaluate the feasibility and generality of the proposed method in this paper.
