This paper reports on a new barrier metal technology to realize a stacked capacitor type memory cell for future high-density ferroelectric memories. Cubic TaN and amorphous Ta-Si-N layers, prepared by the reaction of pentakis-dimethyl-amino-tantalum and ammonia plasma, has been used as a barrier metal between Pt electrode and Si to determine the factors that affect the success of these materials as diffusion barriers. After the heat treatment in N₂/O₂ 9:1 ambient at elevated temperatures, the structure integrity of Pt/TaN or Ta-Si-N/Si has been investigated and found that no penetration of oxygen through barrier metals to form the oxide materials beneath the electrode and no interaction between Pt and barrier metals has been observed even in an annealing temperature as high as 900℃.

This paper proposed new techniques of rotor position detection for Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM). This technique is very simple and easy to find out rotor position. The main idea uses the impulse responses which have different values between aligned and unaligned. in order to obtain the rotor position, the impulse applied to the unenergized phases and their responses are analized to control the speed of SRM without shaft sensor. experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed method

The horse is a life partner that plays a very important role in the civilization adventure of humanity. Although the importanceattributed to horse varies in different cultures, it would not be wrong to say that they are indispensable until a certain time. It is not only used for transportation purposes, but also its meat and milk have been evaluated depending on the cultures. Horsehair, on the other hand, has been used and evaluated for very different purposes historically and also now. In thisstudy, it is aimed to reveal the unique characteristics of horsehair (strengths, SEM images, FTIRs, microscopic images, fiberdiameter/fineness) and to exhibit their dyeability. For this purpose, hibiscus, turmeric, and madder were used for the dyeingof horsehair in the presence of different metal salts. Then, the color and fastness of the dyed samples were analyzed; it hasbeen understood that these selected herbal sources can be used in the dyeing of horsehair.
Step Coverage of Silane Reduced LPCVD Tungsten Films

Step coverage of silane reduced LPCVD W films were measured as a function of deposition temperature, pressure, carrier gas and its flow rate. The observation could be explained by comparing Knudsen diffusion rate inside the trench and surface reaction rate. Step coverage was improved by decreasing substrate temperature and by increasing pressure and carrier gas flow rate. Step coverage became poor when hydrogen was added.

톨루엔의 메탄올에 의한 측쇄알킬화반응에 미치는 메탄올분해반응의 영향을 검토하기 위하여, 붕소가 첨가된 또는 첨가되지 않은 알칼리금속으로 이온교환된 제올라이트X 촉매에서 메탄올분해반응을 수행하였다. �루엔의 측쇄알킬화반응에서 true alkylatin agent로 작용하는 것으로 알려진 포름알데히드의 수율은 교환된 알칼리 양이온의 이온반경이 증가함에 따라 감소하였으나, 붕소의 첨가에 의해서는 겨의 변화가 없었다. 붕소는 생성된 포름알데히드가 일산화탄소로 더 분해되는 과정을 억제하는 역할을 하는 것으로 추측된다. 결론적으로, 알칼리 양이온 교환 제올라이트 X에서의 스타이렌 수율증대는 메탄올분해반응성보다는 톨루엔의 흡착상태에 더 깊은 관련이 있을 것으로 사려된다. In order to investigate the role of methanol-decomposition in the side-chain alkylation of toluene with methanol, methanol-decomposition was carried out on alkali-ion exchanged zeolites X with or without boron. Yield of formaldehyde which has been known as a true alkylating reagent in the side-chain alkylation was decreased with increase of radius of cation exchanged, but seemed to be independent on the presence of boron. It was characteristic that boron led to suppress the further decomposition of formaldehyde to carbon monoxide. According to these results, it was suggested that the increase of styrene-yield on the alkali-ion exchanged zeolites X was mainly influenced by the adsorption configuration of toluene rather than the yield of formaldehyde.

We are preparing an experiment for dark matter (WIMP) search using CsI(Tl) crystal. The detection threshold of a large CsI(Tl) crystal coupled with green extended PMTs was down to 2 keV, and the pulse shape discrimination power of the crystal shows better separation of nuclear recoil from background electron signals than NaI(Tl). With these characteristics, CsI(Tl) is another good material for WIMP search experiment. The disadvantage of CsI(Tl) is the internal background from cesium and rubicium ratioisotopes. In this report, the measurements and reduction of these ratioisotopes are described, and a perspective for the experiment is presented.

We present the analysis of KMT-2016-BLG-0212, a low flux-variation $(I_{\rm flux-var}\sim 20$ mag) microlensing event, which is in a high-cadence ($\Gamma = 4 {\rm hr}^{-1}$) field of the three-telescope Korea Microlensing Telescope Network (KMTNet) survey. The event shows a short anomaly that is incompletely covered due to the brief visibility intervals that characterize the early microlensing season when the anomaly occurred. We show that the data are consistent with two classes of solutions, characterized respectively by low-mass brown-dwarf $(q=0.037)$ and sub-Neptune $(q<10^{-4})$ companions. Future high-resolution imaging should easily distinguish between these solutions.
