        The rapid adoption of PCs and accessibility of Internet infrastructure has accelerated the use of high-speed Internet access services, and people want to use it for various broadband multimedia services with regardless of the wired or the wireless networks. Delivering such broadband multimedia services to end users, it is required to integrate or to interface the wired and the wireless networks. There are several alternative technologies for integrating the two networks for providing broadband multimedia services efficiently. In this paper, we survey the alternative technologies for integrating the two networks to deliver the mobile internet service, and analyze the business strategies for the mobile internet service.

      • 算術平均에 의한 바닥衝擊音 遮音性能 評價에 관한 硏究

        It is known that arithmetic mean values of impact sound have an unexpectedly high correlation with the loudness of the sound. This measure is simple and much more easily obtained than the measures specified in tile existing standards. This finding was obtained by psycho-acoustic experiments, however, not by field experiments. This paper aims to specify the relationship between this measure and existing measure, L value by JIS A 1419, and to review the proper range of frequencies to be considered by using 63 data of actual impact sounds for domestic floors. As a result, arithmetic mean values of sound levels showed good correlation with L values. And mean values in octave bands from 125 to 2㎑ were proper for light weight impact sound and those from 125 to 2kH were proper for heavy weight impact sound. In addition it was found that L values(by JIS A 1419) estimated from same floor could be underestimated compared to arithmetic values.

        Dongdaemoon clothes market can make traditional commerce to improve problems which happen to traditional commerce and satisfy between customers and salers through combination among Electronic Commerce which is growing up in 21 centuries place innovation This thesis is focusing on suggesting strategies which practice to let Dongdaemoon clothes market customers and wholesalers, retailers to use Electronic Commerce as strategic skills by analyzing core successful factors for adopting Electronic Commerce in Dongdaemoon clothes market. Adopting Electronic Commerce in Dongdaemoon clothes market when the customer make a reservation and the salers provide the customer with discounting service, the customer was willing to but it. Internet service categories which affect customer's satisfaction are providing lots of product information. This thesis shows providing information made the customer to increase customers's satisfaction degree and buying intention. Also convenience of product research, and reliability in transaction process can enable the customer to increase transaction reliability. These factors are very important in Electronic Commerce. In addition, factors which show customer's suggestion and incovenience by using best seller information and discounting service board when they buy some items in Dongdaemoon clothes market affect the customer satisfaction degree and satisfaction degress of providing information. However, this thesis is analyzed that reliability of transaction process doesn't affect all successful factors such as product quality, size, online payment system, price reliability.

      • 기준음원을 이용한 등가 흡음 면적 레벨 측정방법의 원리

        KS F 2810-1:2001 adopts the concept of normal and standardized sound pressure level for the impact sound insulation performance. In these measurement, the equivalent sound absorption areas are ordinarily obtained by measuring reverberation time in the receiving rooms. However, measuring the reverberation time needs additional instrument and different procedures from sound pressure level measurement. Therefore it is very useful and desirable if the sound absorption area can be obtained only by measuring sound pressure level instead of measuring reverberation time. In this study, the principle of measurement method of equivalent absorption area by using reference sound sources and the measuring process are reviewed.

        Bioengineered robust hybrid hydrogels enrich the stability and efficacy of biological drugs

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Biological drugs are exquisitely tailored components offering the advantages of high specificity and efficacy that are considered safe for treating diseases. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of biological drugs is limited by their inherent short biological half-life and poor stability in vivo. Herein, we engineered a novel delivery platform based on hybrid injectable hydrogels, in which pH- and temperature-responsive biodegradable copolymers were site-specifically coupled to the sulfhydryl group of human serum albumin, which effectively enhances the stability and circulation half-life of the biological drug, recombinant uricase enzyme (Uox). The albumin ligand conjugated to the Uox allowed specific-binding of the enzyme within the protein shell, and the synthetic polymers effectively shield the protein-enzyme complex. Such close confinement exhibits strong resistance towards various physical, chemical and therapeutically relevant stressors such as temperature, pH and proteases. Subcutaneous administration of Uox-loaded bioengineered hybrid hydrogel improved the pharmacokinetics by prolonging its circulation half-life. As a consequence, the bioengineered hybrid hydrogel normalized the serum uric acid level in hypoxanthine/potassium oxonate-induced hyperuricemia mice, and no obvious side effects were observed in the major organs. The characteristic of the bioengineered hydrogel networks applicable to a variety of biological drugs by simple mixing that unlock the possibility of adapting biological drugs to therapeutic applications.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

      • Injectable hydrogel-incorporated cancer cell-specific cisplatin releasing nanogels for targeted drug delivery

        <P>Cisplatin (CDDP) is a well-known anticancer agent, and it has been widely used to treat various solid tumors during clinical cancer therapy. Nevertheless, therapeutic applications of CDDP are hampered by its severe side effects. Although CDDP can be encapsulated into nano-scale drug delivery formulations to improve its physicochemical properties, the lack of stability in the formulation and cancer cell-specific targetability have prompted the exploration of novel vectors for the targeted delivery of CDDP. Here, we introduce CDDP-bearing chondroitin sulfate nanogels (CS-nanogels) that are synthesized through a chelating ligand-metal coordination cross-linking reaction, and then incorporated into pH- and temperature-responsive bioresorbable poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(β-aminoester urethane) (PEG-PAEU) hydrogels for cancer cell-specific delivery of CDDP. The CS-nanogels released from the hydrogels exhibit a pH-dependent release of CDDP. CDDP was released slowly under physiological conditions (pH 7.4), whereas the release of CDDP was triggered under acidic conditions (pH 5.0). Confocal microscopy images demonstrated that fluorescein-5-thiosemicarbazide-labeled CS-nanogels released from the hydrogels selectively bound to the A549 lung carcinoma cell line through the overexpressing CD44 receptor but not to NIH 3T3 cells. An <I>in vitro</I> cytotoxicity test indicated that CS-nanogels released from the hydrogels effectively inhibited the growth of A549 lung carcinoma cells. Subcutaneous injection of CS-nanogel-loaded PEG-PAEU copolymer sols into the dorsal region of Sprague-Dawley rats spontaneously formed a viscoelastic gel without causing noticeable inflammation at the injection site and was found to be bioresorbable in eight weeks. Overall, the injectable hydrogel-incorporated CS-nanogels were demonstrated to be a useful formulation for the targeted delivery of CDDP.</P>

        만성 골수염 환자의 임상적 연구

        Chronic osteomyelitis is often considered difficult to treat and may lead to refratory condition in oral and maxillofacial region. Clinical features of chronic osteomyelitis includes pain, swelling, pus discharge, and radiographic change. There are many kinds of treatment of chronic osteomyelitis. One of the most important factors in treating osteomyelitis are removal of infectious foci and administration of massive antibiotics. Recently we reviewed 29 patients with chronic osteomyelitis who visited in our department and treated successfully with our treatment protocols, consisting of surgical intervention and intravenous antibiotics for 2 weeks, and followed by oral antibiotics for 6 weeks. It is concluded that combination of surgical intervention and antibiotic therapy are sufficient to treat the chronic osteomyelitis in oral and maxillofacial region.

        요추간판탈출증 환자의 PELD,OLM 수술 방법에 따른 요부 근기능 회복과 안정화에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine the quantitative assessment of lumbar extension strength change for Pre-Op. Post-Op and The ratio of lumbar flexion 71˚ and 0˚ degree in PELD & OLM group of hernia patients. Fifty-eight male (PELD:17, OLM:41) and fifty-eight female(PELD:26, OLM:32) subjects participated and was tested twice at Pre-Op and Post-Op(5weeks). Each test involved the measurement of maximum voluntary isometric torque at seven degrees(72˚, 60˚, 48˚, 36˚, 24˚, 12˚, 0˚) of lumbar flexion using the Medx lumbar extension machine. Result show significant improvement (0,84%) of lumbar extension strenth for pre-op and post-op in OLM group but PELD group indicated non-significant improvement in male. there was significant improvement(18.20%) of lumbar strength for pre-op and post-op in PELD group of female but OLM group of female appeared non significant level. There was non significant improvement of strength at all degrees except 48˚(10.23%), 60˚(12.57%), 72˚(12.50%) for both PELD. OLM group of male but PELD group of female indicated significant improvement(over 15%) at all degrees but OLM group of female was showed non significant improvement ant degrees. The Ratio of lumbar flexion 72˚ and 0˚ Angle decreased from 1.99:1 to 1.89:1 for PELD group and from 2.13:1 to 2.28:1 for OLM group of male, and PELD group of female was decreased from 2.34:1 to 2.08:1 but OLM group of female showed significant decrease(14.28%) from 2.72:1 to 2.38:1.

        Regulation of Both Light-and Auxin-Mediated Development by the Arabidopsis lAA3/SHY2 Gene

        Light affects plant growth and development throughout the life cycle. However, light signals do not function autonomously but should be integrated with endogenous developmental factors such as the plant hormone auxin to specify correct developmental decisions. We have previously reported that the Arabidopsis shy2-1D mutation alters various light responses, including highly photomorphogenic development in darkness. Here we show that the mutation also alters various auxin responses, including constitutive formation of lateral roots and reduced auxin sensitivity in inhibition of hypocotyl and root growth. The mutation is a gain of function mutation occuring in the IAA3 gene, one of the Aux/IAA family genes encoding putative transcription factors of auxin-responsive genes. These results suggest that IAA3/SHY2 may play important roles in both light- and auxin-mediated development Considering that Aux/IAA proteins and auxin response transcription factors interact with one another, we propose that IAA3/SHY2 may integrate light signals into auxin-mediated developmental responses.
