A lot of studies are being conducted around the world for the improvement of vehicle’s fuel efficiency. Especially, The required strength and performance of the U Joint assembly component that transfers the steering force by driver to the steering gear were developed to be suitable to each function by developing manufacture technology such as Aluminum forging, Aluminum extrusion, Hydro-forming. For the robust design, CAE analysis was executed after the initial concept design and the result of CAE analysis was applied to other designs, thereby the optimum design was accomplished. We have made the Aluminum U-Joint assembly component which is 43% lighter than the steel U-Joint assembly component. We confirmed the possibility that the Aluminum U-Joint could be applied to a high grade fuel cell vehicle.
남녀 고등학생들의 취업관련 인식 및 대학 전공 선택 연구

대학 진학률은 여학생이 남학생보다 높은 반면에 취업률은 여자 대학 졸업생이 남자 대학 졸업생에 비하여 낮은 편이다. 본 연구는 여자 대학 졸업생 취업률이 낮은 것에 대하여 기본적으로 남학생과 여학생의 취업에 대한 인식이 달라서 비롯될 수 있을 것이라 생각하고 취업에 대한 인식차이를 파악하고자 실시되었다. 전라북도에 소재하고 있는 26개 고등학교를 대상으로 2014년 7월부터 8월까지 설문조사를 실시하였으며 여학생 765명과 남학생 874명, 총 1689명의 설문을 분석하였다. 여학생들은 전공 선택 동기에 있어서 적성을 고려하는 정도와 장래 하고 싶은 일에 도움이 되며, 취업전망을 고려하여 전공을 선택하는 것에 있어서 남학생 보다 높은 점수를 나타냈으며 진로성숙도에 있어서도 계획성, 일에 대한 태도 및 독립성 영역에서 남학생보다 높은 점수를 보여주었다. 그러나 희망 전공과 취업률이 높은 학과에 대한 응답결과에서는 많은 차이를 나타냈으며 희망 전공과 높은 취업률 전공의 일치도에서 남학생에 비해 일치한 비율이 낮은 편이었다. This study aims to find out the gender differences of perception of employment and major selection of high school students. 765 female students and 874 male students were surveyed during from July of 2014 to August of 2014 in Jellabuk-Do. The experience of thinking about getting a job instead of college entrance, major selection motivation, career development and maturity level, expected major selection, high employment rated major selection, and congruence of selection on expected and high employment major were analyzed. There is no difference in experience of thinking about the getting a job. Female students showed high rates of career development and maturity, and had better motivation for major selection than male students. Expected majors were different between female and male students. However, both of female and male students selected similar majors which are high employment rated. The female students’ rates of congruence on expected and high employment rated major was lower than male students’.

In order to analyze the dynamic characteristics and seismic performance of electrical cabinet affected the earthquake, a preliminary study should be carry on to find the natural frequency of that, and it can be known that through shaking table test and finite element analysis. The purpose of this study is to developing regarding the numerical model by using finite element method for the natural frequency of electrical cabinet be influenced by earthquake and to verify its reliability in comparison with experimental data through shaking table test in the future.

The purposes of this article are to analyze the conditions of using instructional strategies and using gender sensitive instructional strategies at engineering classes of K University. Qualitative analysis methods were adapted. To achieve the purposes, 35 hours of engineering classes from 11 professors from 9th to 20th of November 2009 were videotaped and analyzed. The research findings were discussed by the checklists for general and gender sensitive the instructional strategies which were recommended for the managing the better classes. Students are influenced by professors not only knowledge and skills but also values and attitudes. Professors who take gender sensitive instructional strategies are expected to give good influence the women students.
공학교육에서 학생 생성 질문 교수학습방법을 적용한 수업 사례연구

The purposes of this study are to describe the case of student generation questioning strategy on engineering education and to find advantages of applying this strategy and any suggestions of this strategy for the improvement. First of all, Questioning Sheet, the methods of applying the sheet and evaluation were developed, And then instructional model for using this strategy was designed which is with this sheet students are encouraged to ask questions at the beginning and the end of class. K class is for the sophomore of Dept. of Materials Science and Engineering in K University. 40 students were visited. Among them 8 was female student and 32 was male students. Only 20 students were used the questioning sheet and asked the questions. The rest of students did not use the questioning sheet. And high achievement students were more asked questions than low achievement students. At the end of the semester, the attitude and the satisfaction of the class were investigated. Achievements of students were measured also. Students of generating questions are more achieved and more satisfied. Students who generated questions have more positive attitude for the study.

In this study, research the mechanism how machinability decrease on the brake disc surface along the state of skin layer microstructure. Representatively, It has been caused by free-ferrite rim and a few kind of carbide and oxide what existing about 0.3㎜ maximum from the surface. Free-Ferrite bring worse machining condition by making lower hardness and toughness increasing on the near surface, and also creating the diffusion wear in case of cutting with CBN bite. Furthermore, Oxide and carbide precipitate make harmful chipping on the both tool and work pieces. As a result, tool life has rapidly decreased based on these of complex reasons. Point of this study is finding out the correlationship between cutting force and abrasion characteristic when is given difference microstructure on skin layer by every 0.1㎜ depth from near surface.

HONS(Hybrid Open Networking Stack) 는 다양한 무선 센서들을 하나의 네트워크로 서비스할 수 있는 시스템이다. IEEE 802.15.4 표준의 Open 패킷 구조를 정의하여, 다양한 센서를 저전력 멀티-홉 네트워크로 구성할 수 있다. HONS 네트워크는 라우터와 무선 센서로 구성된다. 라우터는 전원을 사용하여 멀티-홉 네트워크의 기본 백본을 형성하며, 무선 센서는 배터리로 저전력 동작을 하여, 라우터가 구성하는 멀티-홉 네트워크에 참여한다.
