체외수정시술을 위한 과배란유도시 Nafarelin 과 Triptorelin 사용에 따른 임상성적의 비교

Gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists(GnRH-a) vary in structure and route of administration. We performed this study to compare patient response to intranasal nafarelin acetate versus subcutaneous triptorelin as adjuncts to ovulation induction for in vitro fertilization(IVF). From October 1995 to May 1996, sixty-four patients with tubal factor infertility entering their 79 cycles of IVF were randomized to receive either intranasal nafarelin acetate(Group Ⅰ, 38 cycles) or subcutaneous triptorelin(Group Ⅱ, 41 cycles). Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation(COH) using luteal long protocol of GnRH-a was used in all patients. Patient characteristics in the two groups did not differ significantly, nor did sperm parameters or endocrine profiles. There was no significant difference in ovarian response as indicated by duration of GnRH-a administration before ovarian stimulation, number of ampules of gonadotropin used and duration of gonadotropin administration in ovarian stimulation, and serum E( ) level and number of follicles(≥14mm) on the day of hCG administration between the two groups. There were no significant differences in clinical results of oocyte and embryo obtained such as number of oocytes retrieved, oocytes fertilized, embryos cleaved, embryos frozen, and embryos transfered between the two groups. There were also no significant differences between group Ⅰ and group Ⅱ in clinical pregnancy rate(31.6% versus 34.1%) and abortion rate per clinical pregnancy(8.3% versus 14.3%). This study suggests that intranasal nafarelin acetate as well as subcutaneous triptorelin can be used successfully in ovulation induction using luteal long protocol of GnRH-a.

The present study was conducted to elucidate some characteristics of soy protein hydrolysates. The soy protein was obtained from defatted soy power by the treatment of n-hexan. The hydrolysates of soy protein were prepared from hydrolysis by bromelian and pepsin with the two kinds of samples of precooking for 30 min in steam oven and noncooking, and fractionated through Bio-gel P-4 column chromatography. Fractions of hydrolysates separated on the Bio-gel column chromatography were carried out to SDS-PAG electrophoresis, resulting to show some different bends from 66kD to 14.2kD of molecular weight. In addition, the fractions showed different activities of superoxide dismutase. From these results, it was found that the hydrolysates could be available to use in a lot of food industrial fields as new functional food materials because the hydrolysates had different characteristics in electrophoresis and could increase the activity of superoxide dismutase.

<P>The flavonoid, quercetin, is a low molecular weight substance found in apple, tomato and other fruit. Besides its antioxidative effect, quercetin, like other flavonoids, has a wide range of neuropharmacological actions including analgesia, and motility, sleep, anticonvulsant, sedative and anxiolytic effects. In the present study, we investigated its effect on mouse 5-hydroxytryptamine type 3 (5-HT3A) receptor channel activity, which is involved in pain transmission, analgesia, vomiting, and mood disorders. The 5-HT3A receptor was expressed in Xenopus oocytes, and the current was measured with the two-electrode voltage clamp technique. In oocytes injected with 5-HT3A receptor cRNA, quercetin inhibited the 5-HT-induced inward peak current (I(5-HT)) with an IC50 of 64.7 +/- 2.2 microM. Inhibition was competitive and voltage-independent. Point mutations of pre-transmembrane domain 1 (pre-TM1) such as R222T and R222A, but not R222D, R222E and R222K, abolished inhibition, indicating that quercetin interacts with the pre-TM1 of the 5-HT3A receptor.</P>

In this study, concrete pumpability was investigated using a sliding pipe rheometer when the slump was different, and the cause was analyzed by comparing the actual field pump pressure. As a result of the experiment, it was found that the concrete pumpability was greatly affected by the slump measurement value.
