Biomass, a carbon neutral fuel, is one of the fastest growing renewable energy sources. In this study, economic feasibility of small scale power generation system using syngas from biomass has been investigated. Effects of important variables such as capital investment, cost of waste wood, renewable energy certificate(REC), system marginal price(SMP) on the benefit of business have been analyzed. Internal rate of return(IRR) was predicted as 16.90%, which implicates the business is promising based on the assumptions such as SMP of 137 Won/kWh, capital cost of 4.7 billion won, and waste wood price of 30 thousand won. Major factors affecting the benefit of business are as follows; system marginal price, operational rate, capital investment, expenditure of waste wood, certified emission reduction.

The baculovirus-insect cell expression system has been widely used method for the recombinant protein expression. The present study has several limitation. In this study, we constructed vectors consisting of transcriptional enhanced factor and promoter that improve the expression level. To confirm the usefulness of these vector system, Human papillomavirus (HPV) VLPs have been expressed by baculovirus hyper expression system. HPV VLPs were purified using a CaptoTM Core 700 (GE Healthcare Life Sciences) chromatography approach. Baculovirus hyper expression system production efficiency was influenced by the HPV VLPs production. HPV VLPs vaccination to BALB/c mice induced the generation of antibody confirmed by ELISA. This study could provide improvements on the vaccine production for the development of VLP vaccines high expression of useful heterologous proteins.
Effects Relationships among CSR, Perceived Service Quality, Brand Image, Trust and Customer Loyalty

Today, customers consider engaging in an environmentally friendly behavior and healthy food. Due to this reason, fast food corporate endeavors diverse ways such as CSR activities, new manus. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effects of environmental corporate social responsibility (CSR) (ethical responsibility, environmental responsibility and well-being responsibility) on perceived service quality and brand image, as well as relationships among perceived service quality, brand image, trust, loyalty for fast food restaurant. The study is quantitative in nature, using the responses of 51 university students for pre-test. The data analysis is performed by AMOS 18. A survey was used to evaluate how CSR influences customer perceptions of the service quality in fast-food restaurants and brand image as well as the effect of trust on loyalty. Confirmatory factor analysis including second-order confirmatory factor were used to assess the reliability and validity of constructs. Structural equation modeling was employed to assess the hypothesized relationships among CSR, perceived service quality, brand image, trust, loyalty. The study proposes that CSR has a positive effect on perceived service quality, but doesn’t have a positive effect on brand image. The implications of this study highlight the importance of managing CSR for corporations that intend to enhance perceive service quality and brand image. Therefore, fast food firms should consider how CSR activities in connection with corporate goal practice effectively and strategically as well as make the restaurant managers understand the relative importance of each of these elements. This paper is one of the first to highlight the effects of CSR for fast food restaurant as well as relationships among perceived service quality, brand image, trust and loyalty.
A Case of Peritoneal Tuberculosis Developed after Infliximab Therapy for Refractory RA

Recently, interferon gamma releasing assay has been recommended to compensate the tuberculin skin test (TST) for screening for latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI). Although it improved the detection of LTBI before treatment with tumor necrosis factor blocker, its application to immune suppressed patients is limited. We report a case of peritoneal tuberculosis (TB) developed in a patient who tested positive for TST and QuantiFERON-TB Gold (QFT-G) before infliximab therapy, to emphasize the importance of monitoring during treatment. A 52-year-old woman presented with abdominal distension. She had been diagnosed with seropositive rheumatoid arthritis six years ago. She had started taking infliximab six months ago. All screening tests for TB were performed and the results of all were negative. At admission, the results of repeated TST and QFT-G tests were positive. Histopathological examination confirmed peritoneal TB. The patient started anti-TB therapy and the symptoms were relieved.

Calcium channel blockers are widely used antihypertensive drugs, which are uncommonly associated with cutaneous reactions, such as pruritus, urticaria, or alopecia. Photosensitivity presenting with telangiectasia has rarely been described. We present here a case of photodistributed telangiectasia induced clinically by amlodipine and histologically by enlarged capillaries in the upper dermis without signs of vasculitis. <P><B>Introduction</B></P><P>Although it has been suggested that rare coding variants could explain the substantial missing heritability, very few sequencing studies have been performed in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). We aimed to identify novel functional variants with rare to low frequency using targeted exon sequencing of RA in Korea.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>We analyzed targeted exon sequencing data of 398 genes selected from a multifaceted approach in Korean RA patients (<I>n</I> = 1,217) and controls (<I>n</I> = 717). We conducted a single-marker association test and a gene-based analysis of rare variants. For meta-analysis or enrichment tests, we also used ethnically matched independent samples of Korean genome-wide association studies (GWAS) (<I>n</I> = 4,799) or immunochip data (<I>n</I> = 4,722).</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>After stringent quality control, we analyzed 10,588 variants of 398 genes from 1,934 Korean RA case controls. We identified 13 nonsynonymous variants with nominal association in single-variant association tests. In a meta-analysis, we did not find any novel variant with genome-wide significance for RA risk. Using a gene-based approach, we identified 17 genes with nominal burden signals. Among them, <I>VSTM1</I> showed the greatest association with RA (<I>P</I> = 7.80 × 10<SUP>−4</SUP>). In the enrichment test using Korean GWAS, although the significant signal appeared to be driven by total genic variants, we found no evidence for enriched association of coding variants only with RA.</P><P><B>Conclusions</B></P><P>We were unable to identify rare coding variants with large effect to explain the missing heritability for RA in the current targeted resequencing study.
