Purpose: This study investigated the difference of menopausal knowledge, attitude between nursing students and non-nursing students. The relationships of the level of menopausal knowledge and attitude and the level of closeness to mother were investigated. Methods: A correlational descriptive design was used with a convenience sample. The survey was conducted with 206 female college students, 106 nursing and 100 non-nursing students, between September 1 and September 14, 2014. The instruments were the Knowledge of Menopause scale, the Menopausal Attitude Measurement scale, and the Level of Closeness to Mother scale. SPSS v22.0 is used to statistical analysis of descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, correlation and χ2-tests. Results: The difference in menopause knowledge between nursing students and non-nursing students is statistically significant (t=6.085, p<001). Nursing and non-nursing college students’ menopause knowledge had a positive relationship with attitude (r = 0.241, p<001). In closeness to mother, there is no significant difference was shown between nursing and non-nursing college students, even though the levels of menopause knowledge are different (t=1.336, p=.183). Conclusion: Results showed having menopausal knowledge positively influences students’ attitudes about menopause. Educators should develop programs imparting menopausal knowledge for non-nursing college students to increase positive menopausal attitude.

An analysis has been made of the clinical obrservation and computed tomographic finding in 40 cases of spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage which were confirmed by SOMATOM Ⅱ. computed tomographic scanner. Computed tomographic scan are very helpful in the diagnosis, prognosis and treatmant of spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage. Location of spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage has been of more greater value in evaluation of progrosis than any other factors of CT scan finding. Surgical intervention were performed in 15 cases and rest 25 cases were managed conservatively. The result of operative treatment were better than those of medical care.

The authors are reporting a extremely rare case of an embryonal carcinoma which arose in the pineal region of an eleven-year old boy. Surgical biopsy and autopsy performed arid be died about 4 month after the onset of the symptom. His clinical and autopsy findings are described.

Cold-rolled sheet steel for automobiles requires high strength and good drawability, for that purpose P-bearing low carbon, low maganese Al-killed steel is investigated. For various coiling temperatures on hot rolling stage, the effects of coiling temperatures on textures and deer-drawability of P-bearning steel were investigated by 1) pole intensity analysis 2) Transmission Electron Microscopy 3) plastic strain ratio determination from tensile test. No apparent changes in textures of hot-rolled sheet and cold-rolled sheet were detected within the range of coiling temperatures examined. The optimum coiling temperature for good recrystalization texture, high average strain ratio (R) and low planar anisotropy (ΔR) after recrystallization annealing was 600℃. However, differences in their characteristics were very slight except the specimen of coiling temperature 700℃ However, since the maximum tensile strength of the specimen was obtained when coiled at 600℃, optimum coiling temperature which could provide good deep-drawability while sustaining high strength might be concluded to be around 600℃ in this steel.

Adequate demonstration of the structures of the posterior fossa and the midline cerebral ventricular system is one of the most difficult problems in neuroradiology. During the last 2 years, we have performed conray ventriculography on 31 patients with clinical evidence of intracranial hypertension, in whom posterior fossa lesion was suspected or a supratentorial hemispheric lesion was not evident by carotid angiography. The patient is placed in the supine position and drilled 5cm above the nasion and 3cm to one side of the midline of nondominant hemisphere. A No. 20 spinal needle is inserted through the tract and aimed toward the anterior horn of the lateral ventricle. About 4 to 6cc of conray is introduced into the anterior horn with head flexed. The head is slowly extended. Serial roentgenograms are used to follow the conray trough the ventricular system.
모사 와전류 탐상신호를 이용한 비대칭 단면을 갖는 축대칭 결함의 형상분류

본 연구는 와전류 형상인식 기법을 증기발생기 세관의 보다 실제적인 결함 평가 문제에 적용하기 위한 목적으로 시도되었다. 이를 위해 증기발생기 세관에 발생하는 실제적인 결함을 보다 사실적으로 모사하는 다섯 가지 형태의 외벽 결함을 선택하고, 이들 결함의 크기 인자와 시험주파수를 변화시켜 가면서, 유한요소 수치해석 프로그램을 이용하여 이론적인 결함신호를 생성하였다. 그리고, 이들 결함신호의 분석을 효율적으로 수행하기 위한 도구로서, '와전류 특징추출 프로그램', '와전류 특징분석 프로그램', 그리고 'PNN 결함분류 프로그램'을 자체적으로 개발하였다. 비대칭 단면을 갖는 결함의 신호는 교점이 원점으로부터 이격되는 현상이 관찰되었는데, 이러한 특성을 반영하는 특징을 추가하여 총 18개의 특징을 시험주파수 별로 정의하였다. 이 특징들을 이용하여 결함을 분류하는 확률신경회로망을 구성하고 결함 분류를 수행한 결과, 결함단면의 비대칭 여부를 결정하는 문제에서는 비교적 높은 정확도를 얻었으나, 결함선단의 첨도를 판단하는 문제에서는 낮은 정확도를 얻었다. This paper describes an initial study for the application of eddy current pattern recognition approaches to more realistic flaw characterization in steam generator tubes. For this purpose, finite-element model-based theoretical eddy current testing (ECT) signals are simulated from 5 types of OD flaws with the variation in flaw size parameters and testing frequency. In addition, three kinds of software are developed for the convenience in the application of steps in pattern recognition approaches such as feature extraction, feature selection and classification by probabilistic neural networks (PNNs). The cross point of the ECT signals simulated from flaws with non-symmetric cross-sections shows the deviation from the origin of the impedance plane. New features taking advantages of this phenomenon are added to complete the feature set with a total of 18 features. Then, classification with PNNs are performed based on this feature set. The PNN classifiers show high performance for the identification of symmetry in the cross-section of a flaw. However, they show very limited success in the interrogation of the sharpness of flaw tips.

<P>In this study, a portable, non-destructive tester, integrating near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy, was developed to determine the maturity of Asian pears. In addition, regression analysis was conducted for mature Manpungbae pears using the partial least squares regression model with the Brix value of Asian pears in a wavelength range of 710-930 nm, and the standard error of calibration or standard error of prediction (SEC/SEP) of 0.41-0.43 degrees Brix and relative standard error of calibration or relative standard error of prediction (rSEC/rSEP) = 0.91-0.92 were observed, indicating excellent prediction performance with no dependence on pretreatment conditions. Furthermore, the reliability of the developed Brix determination model was confirmed using Manpungbae, Wonhwang, Chuhwangbae, and Niitaka pears, and SEP, rSEP, and bias values of 0.29-0.33 degrees Brix, 0.90-0.96, and 1.67E-04, respectively, were observed, indicating high reliability. Hence, the construction of a Brix determination model by the accumulation of absorbance for several varieties of pears in each harvest period is expected to determine optimum harvest times via the measurement of the Brix values at full maturity regardless, of the variety. Hydroxyapatite(HA) has been used as coating on metallic implant in order to obtain biocompatibility. The commercial practice for applying HA films with plasma spraying technique has shown limitation of the long-term stability of the implant. Pulsed laser deposition(PLD) was proposed as a new coating technique to improve the property of HA coating. In this study, HA films were produced by PLD at different substrate temperatures and atmosphere without water vapor. HA films were post-annealed in air at different temperatures(400, 525, 600℃). Characterization of the coatings was performed by XRD, FTIR, SEM, EDX, adhesion test and dissolution test. The HA coatings heated above 525℃ were transformed onto high quality crystalline coating. These coatings showed phosphate band and hydroxyl band in FTIR spectrum
