        This study was designed to find service quality of cultural site as tourist destination and that effects to the visitor's satisfaction and revisit intention. The data(N=329) were collected Bulgug-sa temples that is the largest buddhist temple in Korea. LISREL 8.50 was used to analysis data. The results of analysis is that service quality was affected visitor's satisfaction and revisit intention and visitor's satisfaction to affect revisit intention.

        This study was designed to develop the service quality assessment scale to evaluate tourist perception and satisfaction toward service in buddhist temple as tourist attractions. The data(N=329) were collected Haein-sa temples that is the largest buddhist temple in Korea. Using exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor anaysis the scale with 17 items was generated : attractiveness(4 items), interpretation(5 items), education(2 items), consumables(3 items), facilities(3 items). The fit indexes suggested that the final version of the model provided an adequate fit to the data(e.g., SRMR=.049, CFI=.903, GFI=.941, and AGFI=.918).

        This is a study to modify the curriculum of the ocean civil engineering department in junior college. We collected and analyzed data which are concerned on the curriculum development or improvement, the marine techniques and the ocean policy. And then we also gathered the opinions of the professors serving at the ocean civil engineering department by holding several conferences and investigated the opinions of the ocean civil engineers serving at the industrial organization by way of the inquring papers. In addition we collected the advices of educational specialists and ocean civil specialists by visiting personally. On the basis of above opinions we developed the jobs of graduates and made a model curriculum shown in Table 6. We tried to intensify the subjects of special basic field related to the ocean & civil engineering and the subjects of basic experiment & practise. The ocean observation practise was newly formed and the E. D. P.S was reinforced.

      • 1. 06㎛ Nd : YAG Laser를 이용한 요추간판탈출증의 경피적 수핵감압술

        The 1.06㎛ Neodymium-YAG Laser(800 micron hemisherical) is revealed a useful tool for percutaneous laser disc decompression(PLDD). Especially PLDD would be applied to the management of lumbar disc herniation with minimal intervention. Total irradiated energy to one level of disc space was bout 1000 to 2000 joules. We performed this method at 10 levels, in 7 cases of patients, consisting of 4 males and 3 females with an average age of 37.7 years. Five cases showed excellent and good results, were observed. In two cases, open surgery was required because of unsatisfactory results. The best results were obtained in the protrusion type of disc herniation. We have summarized some advantages of PLDD: a) safe and simple procedure in an outpatient setting, b) avoiding general anesthesia, late spinal instability, c) possibility of repetitive use.

        Antifungal Activities of Essential Oils from Six Conifers against Aspergillus fumigatus

        The antifungal activities of the essential oils from Pinus densflora, Pinus koraiensis, abler holophylla, Larix kaempferi, Crypiomeria japonica and Chamaecyparis obtusa against Aspergillus fumigatus were evaluated. Essential oils were extracted from each conifer leaves for 8 h using water distillation method. The essential oil from A. holophylla appeared the strongest antifungal activity among the six oils with MJC value 0.125 mg/me. The composition of the A. holophylla oil was analysed by CC/MS and then MIC was determined for main constituents of the oil. As the results, borneol and a -bisabolol, which have a hydroxyl group, showed effective antifungal activities against A. frmigaius (0.25 mg/m&`). In addition, the synergistic antifungal effects were observed in the combination of borneol and a-bisabolol.

        Evaluation of correlation between glucan conversion and degree of delignification depending on pretreatment strategies using Jabon Merah

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>The main purpose of this study was to investigate the glucan conversion rate after enzymatic hydrolysis depending on the treatment methods and conditions with changes in the chemical composition of treated solid fraction of Jabon Merah. The glucan conversion rate (17.4%) was not significantly improved after liquid hot water treatment (1st step) even though most of the hemicellulose was dissolved into liquid hydrolysate. Subsequently, dilute acid, organosolv, and peracetic acid treatment (2nd step) was conducted under various conditions to enhance glucan conversion. Among the 2nd step treatment, the glucan conversion rate of organosolv (max. 46.0%) and peracetic acid treatment (max. 65.9%) was increased remarkably through decomposition of acid-insoluble lignin (AIL). Finally, the glucan conversion rate and AIL content were highly correlated, which was revealed by the R-squared value (0.84), but inhibitory factors including cellulose crystallinity must be considered for advanced glucan conversion from highly recalcitrant biomasses, such as Jabon Merah.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Glucan conversion was evaluated using highly recalcitrant biomass, Jabon Merah. </LI> <LI> 86.0% of hemicellulose was removed via liquid hot water treatment (1st step). </LI> <LI> Three types of 2nd step treatment were effective to improve glucan conversion. </LI> <LI> Delignification and glucose conversion rate were highly correlated (R<SUP>2</SUP> =0.84). </LI> <LI> Other factors also contributed the high recalcitrance of Jabon Merah. </LI> </UL> </P>

        Radial Probe Endobronchial Ultrasound Using Guide Sheath-Guided Transbronchial Lung Biopsy in Peripheral Pulmonary Lesions without Fluoroscopy

        Background: Radial probe endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial lung biopsy (RP-EBUS-TBLB) has improved the diagnostic yield of bronchoscopic biopsy of peripheral pulmonary lesions (PPLs). The diagnostic yield and complications of RP-EBUS-TBLB for PPLs vary depending on the technique, such as using a guide sheath (GS) or fluoroscopy. In this study, we investigated the utility of RP-EBUS-TBLB using a GS without fluoroscopy for diagnosing PPLs. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed data from 607 patients who underwent RP-EBUS of PPLs from January 2019 to July 2020. TBLB was performed using RP-EBUS with a GS without fluoroscopy. The diagnostic yield and complications were assessed. Multivariable logistic regression analyses were used to identify factors affecting the diagnostic yields. Results: The overall diagnostic accuracy was 76.1% (462/607). In multivariable analyses, the size of the lesion (≥20 mm; odds ratio [OR], 2.06; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.27-3.33; p=0.003), positive bronchus sign in chest computed tomography (OR, 2.30; 95% CI, 1.40-3.78; p=0.001), a solid lesion (OR, 2.40; 95% CI, 1.31-4.41; p=0.005), and an EBUS image with the probe within the lesion (OR, 6.98; 95% CI, 4.38-11.12; p<0.001) were associated with diagnostic success. Pneumothorax occurred in 2.0% (12/607) of cases and chest tube insertion was required in 0.5% (3/607) of patients. Conclusion: RP-EBUS-TBLB using a GS without fluoroscopy is a highly accurate diagnostic method in diagnosing PPLs that does not involve radiation exposure and has acceptable complication rates.

        약산 전처리 조건에 따른 소경 신갈나무 유래 푸르푸랄 및 레불린산의 함량 변화

        본 연구에서는 국산 소경 신갈나무를 이용하여 약산 전처리를 실시하고, 당으로부터 변환된 푸르푸랄 및 레불린산의 함량 변화를 평가하였다. 약산 전처리는 반응온도(140-180℃), 반응시간(10-30분), 황산 촉매 농도(0-2%, w/w)에 따라 수행하였고, 전처리 후 액상 내 글루코오스, XMG (자일로오스 + 만노오스 + 갈락토오스), 푸르푸랄, 레불린산의 함량을 측정/분석하였다. 글루코오스는 반응온도의 상승, 반응시간과 황산 촉매 농도의 증가에 의해 그 함량이 높아져최대 16.02%까지 나타났으나, 황산 촉매 농도 2% (반응온도 170℃ 이상, 반응시간 20분 이상)에서 함량이 감소하였다. 한편, XMG 함량은 반응온도의 영향을 크게 받았고, 반응온도와 황산 촉매 농도의 증가에 따라 1.63%까지 감소하였으며, 반응시간의 증가에 의한 함량변화는 적었다. 푸르푸랄 함량은 반응온도, 반응시간, 황산 촉매 농도 증가에 따라 높아져 초기시료 중량 대비 최대 7.61% (반응온도 180℃, 반응시간 20분, 1% 황산 촉매 농도)로 나타났으나, 전처리 조건이 최대 푸르푸랄 함량 조건보다 가혹해지면서 감소하는 경향이 발생하였다. 레불린산 함량은 반응온도, 반응시간, 황산 촉매 농도가 증가함에 따라 높아졌고, 특히 반응온도 170℃ 이상에서 급격한 함량 증가를 확인하였으며, 최대 10.98% (반응온도 180℃, 반응시간 30분, 2% 황산 촉매 농도)로 나타났다. 반면 황산 촉매를 투입하지 않았을 경우 모든 반응온도, 반응시간 조건에서 푸르푸랄 및 레불린산 함량은 1% 미만으로 나타났다. In this study, dilute acid pretreatment was operated using small-diameter Quercus mongolica for evaluating the yield change of furfural and levulinic acid depending on pretreatment factors. The dilute acid pretreatment was conducted depending on reaction temperature (140-180℃), reaction time (10-30 min), and sulfuric acid concentration (0-2%, w/w). Then, glucose, XMG (xylose + mannose + galactose), furfural, and levulinic acid contents in the liquid hydrolyzate were measured and analyzed after pretreatment. Glucose content increased to 16.02% as reaction temperature, reaction time, and sulfuric acid concentration increased, but it decreased at the sulfuric acid concentration of 2% (reaction temperature: > 170℃, reaction time: > 20 min). On the other hand, reaction temperature had a strong influenced on XMG content, and XMG content decreased to 1.63% through increasing of reaction temperature and sulfuric acid concentration, but XMG content was less affected by changes of reaction time. Furfural content increased with the increase of reaction temperature, reaction time, and sulfuric acid concentration, and maximum furfural content was 7.61% (reaction temperature: 180℃, reaction time: 20 min, sulfuric acid concentration: 1%) based on a weight of raw material, while furfural content was dropped in more severe condition than in maximum furfural content condition. Levulinic acid content also increased with higher reaction temperature, reaction time, and sulfuric acid concentration. Especially, the sharp increase of levulinic acid content was observed above 170℃, and maximum levulinic acid content was 10.98% (reaction temperature: 180℃, reaction time: 30 min, sulfuric acid concentration: 2%). However, less than 1% of furfural and levulinic acid content was obtained in non-acidic catalyst condition that in whole conditions of reaction temperature and reaction time.
