Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) has low operating temperature and high efficiency. And PEMFC consists of many components as bipolar plate, gas diffusion layer, membrane etc.. Flow-field in bipolar plate roles path for transporting reactants to membrane. Therefore a design of flow-field has an effect on PEMFC’s performance. In this study, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations were performed for comparing mixed multiple serpentine (MMS) flow-field and multiple serpentine (MS) flow-field. And we studied an effect according to change mixing region design in MMS flow-field. Finally the applicability of results is verified by performing CFD simulation about fixed MMS flow-field which is combined good designs.

Regarding efficient development of computer graphic animations, lots of techniques for editing or transforming existing motion data have been developed. Basically, the motion transformation techniques follow optimization process. To make the animation be natural, almost all the techniques utilize kinematics and dynamics in constructing constraints for the optimization. Since the kinematic and dynamic structures of virtual characters to be animated are very complex, the most time-consuming part is known to the optimization process. In order to suggest some guide lines to engineers involved in the motion transformation, in this paper, we analyze the computational complexities for typical motion transformation in quantitative manner as well as the possibility for parallel computation.

To improve the limitation of fuzzy PI controller when is applied to systems of order higher than one, a fuzzy PI controller that fuzzily resets or amplifies the accumulated control input according to fuzzy rules defined on (error, change of error) space is proposed. The proposed controller structure was motivated by the characteristics of fuzzy PI controller that it generally gives unevitable large overshoot in trial of reducing rise time of response especially when a system of order higher than one is considered. Based on the observation that the undesirable characteristics of the fuzzy PI controller is caused by integrating control input excessively, even though the integrator is introduced to overcome steady state error, we propose a controller that clear out or doubles integrated control input in a fuzzy manner according to the situation to reduce rise time as well as overshoot. To show the usefulness of the proposed controller, it is applied to the systems that are difficult to stabilize or difficult to get satisfactory response by conventional fuzzy PI controllers.
Impact on Retrievability by Cement Variety for Implant Restorations Equipped with a Lingual Slot

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to measure and compare the removal torques of different cements applied in attachments of zirconia restorations on titanium (Ti) abutments fitted with retrievable cement-type slot (RCS) on the lingual side for the better retrievablity by use of a slot driver. Materials and Methods: Three types of cements were used in the experiment: two permanent cements in RelyXTMU200 (RU) (3M ESPE) which is a resin cement and FujiCemTM (FC) (GC) which is a resin-modified glass ionomercement, and a temporary cement in FreegenolTM temporary cement (TC) (GC). Measurements of removal torques were conducted as follows; an attached sample was fixed on the equipment customized for the experiment; a slot driver was connected to a MGT12 (Mark-10 Corp.), a torque measurement instrument; the sample had the driver fitted to its RCS and then was rotated until the it was removed ;and finally, the maximum torque value was recorded. Result: As for the removal torque measurement results, the average values were 47.9±2.6 Ncm for RU, 43.4±1.5 Ncm for FC, and 20.9±1.0 Ncm for TC. The statistical analysis using Kruskal-Wallis test yielded the significance probability of P<0.05 (P=0.002), which confirmed the presence of significant differences between the three groups. Conclusion: All three cements exhibit clinically acceptable levels of removal torque when applied to an upper zirconia implant restoration fitted with a lingual slot, with RU and FC, the two permanent cements, having the significantly higher values than that of TC, the temporary cement.
