상악골 부분 절제술을 시행한 많은 환자에서 안모의 변형으로 심리적 우울감에 취약할 뿐만 아니라 연하, 저작 기능이 저하되며 발음 장애가 발생한다. 폐색장치를 통한 악안면 보철적 치료는 저작, 연하, 발음 기능의 회복뿐 아니라 적절한 안모로 회복시켜주며 장치를 사용하는 환자들의 삶의 질을 향상해준다. 본 증례는 상악골 부분 절제술 시행한 환자에서 수술 부위 안정화 기간 사용한 임시 폐색장치로 적절한 안면 지지의 정도를 예측할 수 있었고 이를 반영하여 artificial palate를 제작하였다. 이는 적절한 안면 지지를 재현하여 최종 폐색장치를 제작하는 간단한 접근법을 제시하였고 기능적, 심미적 부분에서 만족할 만한 결과를 얻어 이를 보고하고자 한다. Patients with maxillectomy defects predisposed to not only difficulty in deglutition, mastication, speech but also psychological depression from impaired facial esthetics that affect life quality. Obturator prostheses play a important role in restoring the lost form, function and the quality of life for patients with maxillectomy defects. This clinical report presents the simplified approach to predict the degree of adequate facial support by Artificial palate which reflected from a maxillary interim obturator during the stabilization period after maxillectomy.
Empress 2 도재와 레진시멘트의 결합강도에 관한 연구

The objective of this study was to investigate the influence of resin cements and ceramic etching on shear bond strength of Empress 2 ceramic and observe the change of microstructure of ceramic according to etching time. Sixty-six square ceramic specimens($6{\times}6{\times}1.5mm$) were prepared. 6 specimens were etched with different etching times(0, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 60 seconds) and observed by means of a scanning electron microscope(SEM). Other sixty specimens were divided into 6 groups with 10 specimens in each group. 3 groups were etched with 4% hydrofluoric acid and each groups was bonded with 3 resin cements(Variolink II, Super-Bond C&B, Panavia F). Each specimen was subjected to a shear load in an Instron at a cross-head speed of 0.5mm/min and was observed with SEM after mechanical testing to establish modes of failure. The results were as follows : 1. Within etched groups, Variolink II and Super-Bond C&B exhibited significantly greater bonding strengths than Panavia F(p<0.05) 2. Bond strength of etching groups had three to five times greater than that of no-etching groups. 3. All of no-etching groups showed adhesive failure and etching groups mostly showed mixed failure. And, 20-second etching specimen showed the most distinct lithium disilicate crystal. so it is considered that 20-second etching is optimal time for bonding.

PURPOSE. The purpose of this study is to determine the efficacy of the DENTIS submerged-type implant with an internal hex connection and to build corresponding abutment-selection criteria. MATERIAL AND METHODS. A total of 204 patients received submerged implant fixtures with an internal hex connection at the Dong-A University Hospital Dental clinic in Busan from January 2013 and May 2016. Three specific abutments, UCLA abutments, customized abutments, ready-made abutments, were randomly selected. Implant success was defined as the basis of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists(ICOI, 2007) criteria. The relationship between the implant success rate and the abutment factor was analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test(P<.05). RESULTS. A total of 508 implants were placed in 204 patients. After a mean observation period of 38.6 months, 493 out of 508 implants were in normal function, yielding an overall success rate of 97.05%. A total of 15 implants failed: 10 in the maxillary molar area, 4 in the mandibular molar area, and 1 in the mandibular incisal area. All of the implant failures occurred in a singleimplant prosthesis, especially high in the maxillary molar area. The Kruskal-Wallis analysis showed that abutment selection has no significant correlation with implant failure(P>.05). CONCLUSION. DENTIS submerged implants with an internal hex connection showed predictable results with a success rate of 97.05%. It is no influence on the success rate in the selection of submerged implant abutment with an internal hex connection.

악교정 수술과 임플란트 보철을 통한 전악재건술의 임상적 치료는 보철과 의사에게 도전적인 과제이다. 본 증례는 골격적 부조화를 가진 다발성 우식증 환자의 진단과 치료에 있어서 치의학의 여러 분야의 협진을 보여주었다. 그 결과로 악교정 수술을 동반한 발치 후 즉시 임플란트 식립 및 조기 하중을 가하는 임플란트 보철물에 의한 전악 재건이 예견가능하고 효과적인 치료 방법이었기에 이를 보고하고자 한다. Clinical therapy that combines full-mouth rehabilitation with immediate implantation and orthognathic surgery poses a challenge to prosthodontists. This clinical report describes a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of a patient presenting with skeletal discrepancy and rampant caries. The results thus achieved indicate that full-mouth rehabilitation by fixed immediate and early loading implantation accompanied by orthognathic surgery can be a predictable and effective treatment procedure.
전자-기계식 점화안전장치의 고고도 환경 동작 성능 특성 분석

본 연구에서 점화안전장치의 고고도 동작 특성을 검증하였다. 열진공주기시험후 기폭동작에서 최대 압력과 점화지연시간에서 요구성능을 만족하였다. 고고도에서 압력 진동 현상이 발생하였으나 누출가스 성분 분석을 통해 Bomb 의 조립부 결함으로 인한 연소가스 누설이 원인인 것을 확인하였다. 고고도에서 점화안전장치 회로의 전기적인 특성도 진공 환경 영향이 적은 것을 확인하였다. 점화안전장치 기폭시험에서 지연시간, 최대압력도달시간은 진공도에 영향을 받지 않았다. 또한 최대압력은 고고도에서 상압 대비 최대 11.7%진동을 보이나 점화기를 작동시키기 위한 충분한 성능을 검증하였다. The high-altitude operation characteristics of the AFD were verified. Following the thermal vacuum cycling test, it satisfied the required performance in terms of maximum pressure and ignition delay during the ignition operation in high vacuum . At high altitudes, pressure oscillation after ignition of AFD in CBT Bomb occurred; however, through the analysis of leaked gas components, it was confirmed that combustion gas leakage was due to assembly defects in the bomb. It was also proved that the electrical characteristics of the AFD circuit were minimally affected by the vacuum environment. In the AFD detonation test, ignition delay time and the operation time to the maximum pressure were not influenced by the vacuum level. Furthermore, although the maximum pressure showed a maximum 11.7% decrease compared to atmospheric pressure at high altitudes, it was verified that there was sufficient performance to detonate the following ignition device.
