In this research, botanical extracts containing green tea, Saururus chinensis and Prunus padus were tested to see possibility as shampoo. Leaves of Green tea and Saururus chinensis were extracted with hot water. Prunus padus bark extract was applied reverse osmosis and ultrasonic extraction. When interfacial tension was measured among shampoo including botanical extracts, Sodium dodecylsulfate(SDS) and Quillaja Bark Saponin(QBS), that of shampoo was lower than that of SDS and QBS at lower concentration, however, it showed similar interfacial tension at 100% concentration. Shampoo showed moderate antimicrobial activity in Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans. Botanical extract did not indicate cell toxicity up to 350 μg/ml concentration in MTT assay. Shampoo containing botanical extract was stable for 3 months, however, it showed considerable variation in pH and viscosity. In conclusion, shampoo containing botanical extract shows strong possibility for natural shampoo if the formulation is modified.
수영선수들의 체격 및 신체조성이 전신반응시간에 미치는 영향

This research is about analyzing the motor activity reaction of elite swimmers, related to their physique and body composition and in use of this data is for collecting basic essential data for elite swimmers performance enhancing. From the measurement held from the Korea Institute of Sport Science has collected data from 5 different Regional Sports Science Center’s, middle school and high school students physical ability measure scale was used to 586 students that are elite swimmers the measure was held throughout 5 years, from 2011 to 2014. The measurements were height, weight, sitting height, thigh and measurement of circumference of chest. Swimmers reaction time was measured and body fat percentage, BMI were used for the body composition’s variable. The research results that were correlated were the weight for middle school girl students and high school boy students, for middle school boy students the physique and body composition’s variable were not correlated. In the multiple linear regression with the reaction time, middle school girl students and high school boy student’s data was shown that there is a significant correlation with the BMI and also for high school girl student’s body fat percentage was shown a significant correlation. In conclusion, high school students in both sex showed that the higher BMI and body fat percentage the lower in reaction timing, for middle school girl students when the BMI grows the reaction time got faster.

In this research, water and ethanol extract of Momordica charantia shells, fruits and seeds were tested to see possibility as natural functional cosmetic agent. Water and ethanol extract showed 69.45 mg/g and 70.87 mg/g polyphenol concentration, respectively. Momordica charantia water and ethanol extracts did not indicate cell toxicity up to 1,000 μg/mL concentration in MTT assay. Tyrosinase inhibition effects of water and ethanol extract were lower than arbutin, however, ethanol extract showed better DOPA oxidation inhibition effect than arbutin. Elastase inhibition effects of ethanol extract displayed similar efficacy with adenosine at higher concentrations. Solution formulations (5% extract) were stable for 28 days in both extracts, however, lotion formulation (1% extract) showed considerable variation in viscosity whereas ethanol extraction indicated relative stability. In conclusion, water and ethanol extract of Momordica charantia shells, fruits and seeds indicated strong possibility for whitening and antiwrinkle functional cosmetic ingredient.
꾸지뽕나무 뿌리 열수추출물로부터 미백 및 주름개선 화장품 소재의 개발

Water extracts of root, leaf, branch and fruit of Cudrania tricuspidata were tested to use as natural antiwrinkle and whitening cosmetic ingredient. Root extract indicated 86.5 mg/g polyphenol concentration and 55.5 mg/g flavonoid concentration. From MTT test, root, branch and fruit extract did not show cell toxicity up to 1,000 μg/mL, however, leaf extract displayed significant cell toxicity in concentrations higher than 200 μg/mL. Cudrania tricuspidata root extracts displayed excellent 81% tyrosinase inhibition (whitening effect), 58% elastase inhibition (antiwrinkle effect) at 500 μg/mL and showed minor UVB absorbance. When solution and lotion formulation were made including Cudrania tricuspidata root extract, they are stable at 25 ℃ for 21 days, but showed significant deviation in viscosity and particle size at 47 ℃. From the study, Cudrania tricuspidata root extract demonstrated good potential for natural whitening and antiwrinkle cosmetic agent.

본 연구는 지방에 거주하는 중·고 학생선수의 경기력을 향상시키고자 추진했던.학생선수 통합지원센터 사업’의 일환으로 추진한 체력측정을 통해 수집된 자료를 기초로 우리나라 중·고 학생선수들의 성별.학교수준별 .학년별 체력 수준을 파악하고, 평가기준을 설정하는데 목적을 두었다. 2011 ~ 2014년 사이에 전국 5개 지역(부산, 광주, 대전, 경기, 전북)에서 중·고 학생운동선수 연인원 4,243명을 대상으로 체격 및 체력을 측정한 자료를 이용하여 통계분석을 실시하고, 각 항목의 평균, 표준편차 및 Cajori 5단계 평가기준을 제시하였다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physical performance and develop the criteria of 4243 middle and high school students across 5 provinces (Busan, Gwangju, Daejeon, Gyeongi and Jeonbuk) in Korea that took part in the talent development project. The data was collected between 2011 and 2014. The criteria was divided by gender and age across different grades, and the mean, standard deviation and 5 evaluation levels were calculated and analyzed.
황벽나무, 두충나무 등을 포함하는 복합수목추출물의 항균활성 및 안전성 시험

In this study, mixed plant extracts including Phellodendro namurense and Eucommia ulmides Oliv were tested for antimicrobial activity and safety. Antimicrobial activity was measured by disc diffusion method using normal skin flora and opportunistic microbes such as Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Candida albicans. As safety test, single dose oral toxicity test, single dose inhalation toxicity test and repeat dose inhalation toxicity test were done. From antimicrobial test, plant extracts showed significant antimicrobial activity Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida albicans, however, did not indicate any antibacterial effect on Escherichia coli. From 3 kinds of safety tests, toxicity of mixed plant extracts was not observed. From experimental results, mixed plant extracts including Phellodendro namurense and Eucommia ulmides Oliv showed good potential for natural antimicrobial agent.
